  1. Conveniently, that philosophy was held by Blaise Pascal (a Catholic). Theists refer to that as Pascal's Wager. The problem with that, though, is that any monotheistic religion could be correct and you may have picked the wrong one. Ahhh thank you, I've never researched it before, just thought about it in the shower :P. Yep, any religion can be correct. I'd start out by looking at religions that actively claim to be "correct" and then research each and decide which one is right.
  2. Without getting to far into this discussion, one opinion that I've held at various occasions is that if there is a god, why not believe in him? (I don't think that this opinion is incompatible with Catholicism.) Let's say that religion X is correct in saying that you cannot gain entrance into heaven without believing in God. If they are right, those that believed have won, and the unbelievers have lost (for lack of better words.) Now if religion X is wrong, the believers really haven't lost that much compared to unbelievers. What, a few hours a week over the course of their life? Not really that much. Assuming that there is life after death, I'm not so sure I'd want to take the risk that there might not be a god. If you ask me, trading a few hours a week is a lot better than playing the odds. Now, if you don't believe in the rewarding of the good and the punishing of the evil after death, then my point is moot.
  3. Some would definitely believe in him, especially if he started performing miracles. If various prophecies are to believed, the anti-Christ is supposed to come first, so some would definitely say that.
  4. A useful link.
  5. If cash is not going to be a concern and if you are planning on SOA'ing your slayer tasks, why are you even bothering to find profitable/break even skilling methods?
  6. I would imagine that he is taking that route along with cannoning. 33 quests to go.
  7. If you do 5 snap runs and 1 calquat run each day, you'll get 99 farming and ~400m profit in a little under 400 days. I would stick with this option unless you hate farming herbs religiously or you plan on maxing in under 400 days. If you get T2 greenfingers, expect an additional 40m profit. If you want it in basically half the time with half the profit, tack on 6 papaya trees each day. Cooking rocktails usually profits and is nice for afking. I'd wait out firemaking until we see how bonfires are. The Jadinko lair is good if you are looking for cheap firemaking xp, and it actually is pretty good.
  8. Yes, hunting commons to 80 for the seeds is a good idea. Might as well get full witchdoctor if you haven't already, so that's some more xp. Personally, I did 80ish-99 at draconics while split-screening. I also hated hunter but it wasn't bad at all when watching a movie.
  9. Welcome to the Forums! If you want to introduce yourself, you can do so here. I've moved your topic to General Guides since H&A is for creating topics to ask advice. If you have any questions, please PM me. :) --------------- You might be interested in obtaining rates for arctic pines (the best xp) and teaks.
  10. Welcome to the Forums! If you want to introduce yourself, you can do so here We have an excellent user guide on Herblore Habitat that is worth a read.
  11. That's quite the subtle sarcasm.
  12. Take a read over this.
  13. It's BXP all over again, only worse this time... At least we can give them credit for answering our questions.
  14. Gratz Ami!! pretty cape is pretty <3:
  15. QFT Yes, indeed.... One of the greats. How long was he in top 15 for?

Granite is faster, but click intensive. LFM is very afk and rewards you with a nifty looking gold suit that gives bonus mining xp (+2.5% for the set I think). Not really worth the time obtaining it since you won't save time. But if you need to afk while mining, then go for it.
  17. Yeah, I know.. you basically just summed up my link. :P
  18. I've fixed your image links since our filter was breaking your last link. If you want a higher quality image, you should have it as PNG. To add on to what Lad said, look here. I'm not very familiar with all of the new graphics changes on gear and the quality of the screenshot along with the angle of the camera make it difficult.
  19. Moved to Questionnaires. ENTP Nope, I rarely talk when I'm playing. Lately though, I've just been knocking out the afk skills while doing homework/watching a movie. I Skype with fellow staff members whenever I'm on my comp (a good 8 hours a day). Never heard of mumble lol Yes, I'm efficient. Every now and then I'll troll someone. I prefer trolling IRL though.
  20. Might as well incorporate Naff's battlestaves if you are going to do JoaT.
  21. Don't know if I should be happy that I assisted 91-99 runecrafting. Finished off that skill 3 weeks ago and I didn't even buy my cape. That skill just lost what little respect it had left tbh. Wonder how long it will be before it's tweaked... But yes, it will be awesome to have competitive profits from double astrals and natures.

A semi-useful spreadsheet. Bit under 285k xp/hr if you are quick with banking and such.
  23. Wait, what? Unless xp-waste just crashed (it hasn't) and the people in Skype are pulling my leg (they're not), DGS and EoE are still very much active.
  24. Looks like I might actually have to kill my first boss this month... Only thing I'm looking forward to, to be honest.
