Well, it's the most accurate way to gauge whether or not herb farming is worth the time spent. Plenty of people value their time at over 2m/hr. If I said that herb farming makes you 1m/day, that's pretty meaningless unless I say that you have to do x number of runs.

Gotta go kill a lot of monsters in the jade vine for the drops. I gave up because it was taking too long, haha. Supposedly, yes, giant ants have the best drop rate. Don't need a machete since the one of your toolbelt will work. I guess the fastest way to get there is witchdoctor mask?

After Branches of Darkmeyer, it speeds up pretty drastically. I was meleeing them in basically max gear and yakking the remains (yes, I'm lazy) and I was able to kill 50 and burn all of the remains in under a yak timer.. around 45 minutes or so.

You'd be better off using the money to invest in items/flip. Don't really see many people borrowing godswords nowadays.

I personally average a bit under 3 minutes, but that does not include getting the gear and I'm also on lunars with tele trollheim.

Without juju, scroll of life, or greenfinger's aura, toadflax is a bit over 1m/hr currently. Get juju, scroll of life, and t1 greenfinger, and you'll make 2.2m/hr with snapdragons. Torstols are better actually if you are willing to possibly lose millions across a few runs.

If it's even possible for this thread to remain on-topic... :P Anyways, I just sat around the house and made it a great day for my awesome mother. Bought her a corsage, cut her some fresh flowers, and bought 1/3 of a set of wind chimes. And to top it all off, we barbecued for supper, drank some beer, and had fresh blackberry pie and peach ice cream, all from our garden/orchard. :thumbup:

This, really. The xp boosts are better to be used on your levels while they are still low since the xp rewards save more time if used now.

Eh, actively training magic isn't really the best course of action. It would be better to train another skill to 99 and just get 99 magic passively with no time lost.

Yes, invisible boosts (summoning familiars) stack with visible boosts (potions, mud baths). That doesn't mean that you can use invisible boosts to attempt something you don't have the level for.

If you activate it at the beginning of your herb run, the first tick will always be safe from disease. Herb ticks are once every 20 minutes, Greenfingers lasts 20 minutes. You don't have to do any timing-acrobatics. I've still gotten plenty of deaths in the first tick.

You either bought or sold at the wrong time or you just had plain bad luck. For the first, it takes a bit of time until you can predict where prices are going to go. For the second, just get used to it.:wink: I've gone plenty of runs with massive losses before, but in the long run, you'll make great profits.

i tried that... but i need some more levels b4 juju farm pot, the only way to make snapdrags worth my time since i dont have torstol yet... im woking on it =P Instead of posting 3 times in a row, please go back and edit your posts, especially since the time between each post is so close. PM me if you have some questions. :) I don't think that you value your time at > 1m/hr (that's a 6 minute herb run), so it is still good to farm snapdragons even without juju.

Farm herbs, easy and simple. (yes that's probably slightly redundant)

Few comments: What herb will you be farming until you reach fellstalk? You shouldn't be profiting from yews as it's better to have the farmer chop it down for you. Thirdly, why in the world are you going to farm fellstalk? It's pathetic profit. Take a look at this.
