Deluxe barrows would be a good way to bring in some more T90 stuff imo. I mean Dharok, Guthan and Verac's weapons upgraded make logical 2h t90 melee variants. Karil could be used to bring in a t90 bow or thrown weapon or even just a 2h cbow. Ahrim could bring a T90 staff Torag admittedly is a bit of left over in this concept, but he could feasible have a thrown weapon perhaps or Torags could become the melee equivalent of Tectonic. I mean if it's supposed to be comparable to vorago t90 seems like a must.

22-Jul-2013 - RuneScape 3!
We already knew that it is a 10 week event. This is week 9. A 10 week event implies it ends AFTER 10 weeks, ergo on the day the 11th week would begin, not after 9 weeks, ergo the day the 10th week begins.

With no level requirements and the leaked list that tasks are mostly conforming too it is nigh impossible for any of these challenges to be remotely hard.

Daemonheim Task Set- 10/9/13
So Jagex is stupid for putting a kinda reasonable 98 req lamp in for a task set devoted to a skill that runs to 120 and requires at least 1 lvl 98 because of the choice YOU personally have made to limit your play style and await the turning on of bonuses for div?

Daemonheim Task Set- 10/9/13
Well, I am sure you could destroy it or something. You probably can't reclaim it if it is destroyed, but I am not sure on that. 98 crafting is one of the diary's requirements, though it is possible to boost for it. Also given the need for one of the 34k+ tool items, rapid renewal and a full ring, plus 93(95?) for warped gulega I'd imagine most folks realistically are unlikely to get the lamp before 99 dg.

Because they weren't able to make the cape look good because of game limitations. Right. Capes aren't forced to be modeled with this bad-looking model, you know. And they weren't able to make the boots not the gloves we see on the concept art either, because of game limitations. If they were not given a brief to make gloves or make an entirely new cape model it is not limitations of the game no, but it is limitations of the scope of the project.

RuneFest 2013 Ticket Announcement
£99 seems kinda excessive price for this kind of event imo. I mean many conventions that are much bigger and have a whole host of different studios/franchises etc there go for the same or less ticket price; some of them even for several days access. I'm sure it'll be good though.

Daemonheim Task Set- 10/9/13
I dunno I can see why they don't allow that. I mean solo meds are only worthwhile if you are pretty fast at them, solo large are gonna be next to impossible to do fast enough to be worthwhile. I mean when you consider 20-40mins ball park (subject on how good ur team is and slightly ignoring uber times msot cant hit) is taken for a 5 man team to clear everything, you are talking 3-5 times that for someone to do it alone and a 60-200min floor...

The concept art vs reality thing: Who is really to blame though? The modellers doing their best to realise the concept within the limitations of the game? Or the concept artists creating art that relies on finer details to look good, finer details they ought to know aren't possible in the game currently? Or the pr/community team for showing off such concept art that they know will/does have major discrepancies from the finished product? Personally I'd say the later two are more to blame than the modellers are.

So far I'm very happy with the direction of the series.

Future Update Discussions
The expectation of an update every week is a little unfounded, and there is no reason for Jagex to even do so. They are highly unique in that regard and one might attribute some of the issues we've had with updates due to them being forced to cram it out all the time instead of proper testing. The expectation of an update 'every week' is totally unfounded...other than the precedent of nearly every month for the past 5+ years having 1 off week and the rest updates and the fact that jmods in various QAs and such have mentioned their official scheduling target to be 1 off week a month.

Energy used in Div
From all the teasers so far I got the impression energy is secondary in that the other 'ingredient' will be something produce via other artisan skills. Eg you smith a robotic cat type thing, then using skill 2 you infuse it with energy to make it function. A unlikely example, but it gets the concept across. I'd also doubt it will be low energy usage, you can't have a gathering skill and resource and give it barely any use longterm. It'd be like giving us fishing but then making 99% of cooking and good healing options rely on anything but fish.
-
Energy used in Div
I guess that could work, but I doubt it. There's not really any correlation between gathering and artisan numbers in fish:cook wc:fletch mine:smith pairings. Good luck getting figures from people without boons used, I don't think even the most anti-meta gamers out there would willingly ignore something that gives a straight up 10% xp boost.
-
Energy used in Div
I'm not sure what you are trying to work out here? Memory + energy turn in uses 5 energy per memory. The xp given, for both normal and enriched is 25% higher than just memory turn in. Enriched is double normal turn in. Boon gives 10% xp boost. These are all known values by this point.

Daemonheim Task Set- 10/9/13
Once I open them up I fully intend to do hard mode, just for the apparently easier to get ness of t11 and blood neck etc. and cause I gots to do all 60 for the title. My nature demands it.

If you magic me up 233k tokens I can tell you if the top 2 lamps exceed lvl 97 req.

Daemonheim Task Set- 10/9/13
They could of atleast tried to make the xp rate comparable to normal mode. Now the hard mode will just turn into dead content. Only if you care about xp. The design concept clearly favors the more challenging aspects in a novelty setting rather than a traditional setting. But the community cares about xp. And that's who, you know, the content was designed for. We have enough dead content, and it's hard enough to find a decent 5:5 team without requiring they've all completed the elite tasks AND don't care about xp/hr. I have to agree I can understand not making hard mode better xp:hr on the basis that it is meant to be an extra challenge for fun, but in order to give it life as usable content it does NEED to have better xp:floor to compensate the added difficulty and thus added time to maintain the xp:hr normal dg offers.

Monster weakness...
It wills till show up on hovering, I use it every day. Possibly something in settings to do with tool tips; all I know is it IS there and it DOES show up on hovering and I haven't changed any settings to do with any monster info/tooltip stuff.

Super September is Coming!
Worked for me (eating and having 27 after). Dunno what you guys were doing. For all of us it seemed to be eating a cake that solved it. Perhaps cake isn't counting but 2/3 cake is.

Super September is Coming!
From my experience and clan mates it seems you have to have 28 items left in your inventory after you eat. So you either need something stackable or something that has more than 1 bite to eat.

Daemonheim Task Set- 10/9/13
For that reason, I'm saving that task for after I get 86 divination. I'm not in any hurry to receive the aura and it doesn't hurt me to wait. I'd be surprised if they don't change it to, "Speak with Skaldrun after completing all Sagas" or some other BS. The saving grace of the saga thing is the two that were a pita (vengeance and nadir) are much easier to 100% since eoc. Vengeance because the poison doesn't kill you as quickly and vs food/the noble healing effect is really nothing. Plus the guys you fight (other than hellhounds you can ignore) aren't really that troublesome. Nadir is easier because the final stage magic bar thing is much more straight forward, now it's adrenaline and you just attack and have to stay above 0%. Since you can use basic melee abilities during the fighting AND have portals to drain you barely drop below 100%. Also you only strictly need 76 divination. At that level a tier 3 gatherer's potion will get you to 86 to make the necessary portents and that potion or 1 lower will get you the level to harvest brilliant wisps. As of middle of today I am on exactly 1 task remaining - the maxed ring which I intend to do as/when I train dg. What I'm wondering is does anyone have any thoughts yet on what the best potion bind is and/or the best 2ndary ring track to have active. I'm thinking dragonfire for lower levels (since gd drags can be a pita) but more so the best combat pot you can for your chosen class to aid in the boss in particular. Though arguable an organised long term team could organised 1 bind of each of the skill pots for doors. For 2ndary ring track I'm guessing the basic desperado/berserker pairing would make sense or have gatherer 2ndary track leaving the others on quickswap for the slight benefit of reduced skill dmg.
