  1. It should be there when you hover over the monster, the icon to the left is the weaknesses. A hammer = crush Axe = slash Sword = stab Bow = arrow x-bow = bolt spear thing = thrown white/blue/green/red 'fireball' = magic air/water/earth/fire A bow sword and staff together = no weakness The sword, bow and mage hat from prayers/skill icons mean generic melee, ranged, magic weakness with no sub type (only seen on players and ascension)
  2. Personally I've not heard new players complaining about not understanding the interfaces or combat all that much; I've only heard that from existing or returning players mostly. The ones who are set in their ways and find it confusing because they are unwilling or unable to completely forget what they knew of the game and look at it as something entirely new to them. Thereby causing them to look at things from a weird perspective that makes things confusing.

Unless of course you use the commonly accepted meaning where by 'player accounts' simply means an account for playing of the game opposed to a forum account or a shopping account or a bank account or a utilities account or a business account, rather than assuming it to be an adjective description of the accounts owner.
  4. Passage only works on skill doors you can't do. Had a portent, carried it through 6 doors in a dungeon without it triggering at all. Well I dunno what to say as far as I was aware crit path doors could not exceed 99, the door mine activated on was a crafting door and the room behind it had the key that opened the boss door. Could have been a strength door and your stats could have been reduced. The portent definitely doesn't just randomly trigger on any door. It was a crafting door, broken pulley 100% certain. I remember cause at the time I thought it was odd and was just like guess Jagex rigged it so it does that for task completion.

  6. Frost dragon is annoying me now. Slogging through c6 med solo frozen floors is a pita, they need to rig it to force one to turn up because they have purposefully avoided luck based occurrences in other task sets, especially ones with a degree of rarity (eg stryke tasks let you kill without slayer assign, portent of passage even seems to work on any door too cause mine got used on a crit path door so musta been 99 or less req and it was in a skill I have maxed)
  7. They look the same as the crab 'claws' used by thok in the 5th saga. Mini-marn on one hand mrs mini-marm on the other.
  8. Some of these tasks seem a bit buggy in annoying ways. The two sinkhole ones don;t seem to be able to tick off during the same sinkhole. The prayer altar in home room one does NOT work if you use quick recharge. I'm calling it quits for today 6 tasks left: Forst dragon bone on altar - guess ill be stalking c6 frozens tomorow. Full ring - need 233k tokens yet so not happening for a while. Altar - doing another gp hording build floor =@ Potato on boss - hope for the seeds etc to make it easily Restore IX - can't do tht yet only 77 div Warp Gulega - just need to find it in a floor, once a day boss selection shuld cover tht.

My one annoyance with this set so far: WHY YOU NO COUNT MY ALREADY 100%ED SET OF SAGAS JAMFLEX You sentiment is correct there ARE tasks that auto ticked off on log in if you already did them, but of the ones you listed the ones in red all had to be completed. Notable though none of them were tasks to complete the minigame, just to display something you got for completing them. In this case the saga reqs either need to auto-tick off OR tick off when you speak to skaldrun with the reqs having been met (1 saga done, 100% 3s company and 100% all)
  12. A few more replies from who? He's on the swiftkit staff. He knows what the program does and does not do. Swiftkit is perfectly safe, just the nature of it's data grabbing to provide calcs and guides etc can cause false positives with anti viruses.
  13. No it isn't? The winning option is "Inter the bodies in the Catacombs.". The new vote is about spare change - basically we can send 5000 gp aid to Saradomin, Zamorak, equal to both or use it for Lumbridge. I voted Lumbridge. On my screen it highlighted mass grave as the winning choice, unless I'm utterly derping on what colours etc. mean what.

  15. Won't work. The reason the old ones aren't left in as an option is because the models won't fit with newer poses, animations designs etc. So even an upgrade or reskin to allow the old style wouldn't be able to be the real old style.
  16. I haven't actually watched it for one simple reason: Half an hour is FAR too long; there is a reason most videos on youtube only run to ~10 minutes. People go there for distraction and quick fixes, anything more than 10 minutes and they lose interest. Plus divination is hardly a rocket science skill, what on earth is there to explain that takes so long? You go to a location, siphon, pick an option to turn in. Even with a quick overview of where each location is you could cover that in like 2 minutes. Then ~5 minutes ought to be more than enough to cover the items you can make since there's only a small number of sub groupings to them. You can do guides to skills like farming and hunter and dg which have more complexities and more variety in the training in 5-10 minutes. Half an hour is far to long for any sort of tutorial guide, let alone one for something so straight forward.

You can do some stress testing with artificially generated traffic and for something to be so wrong that it can cause a 20 min game to run 3 hrs even that basic stress testing would show something up. For something that was built many years ago, heck even just pre-eoc, it'd make sense to run some sort of stress test on it before doing something you know is going to drive thousands upon thousands of players in to it at the same time. Just to be sure it functions reasonably.
  18. I've heard from clan mates single games in w44 can take up to 4 hours to complete due to all the lag literally forcing things to over run. It's nice how Jagex on the heels of a borked challenge where 1/2+ of the npcs that should've worked didn't send us to a minigame that clearly hasn't been stressed tested for such high volumes and subsequently is breaking. At this rate challenge 30 is going to be something like log in to the game and the log in button is just going to disappear for the day.

  20. The glitch where it shows you unequipped made it to swars too. I was un-armed and un armoured in my game until around my 5th death at which point I spawned showing my gear again and the cape kicked in. Though I didn't wield my weapon correctly when not fighting for the remainder of the game.
  21. Clicking the 'light switch' button in the top left of the posting box will toggle between the two and remembers where it was left in my experience.
  22. I'm pretty sure the Mahjarratt questline ended with ROTM. I mean they could add mahjarrat to other quests, or start a new questline with them in the 6th age but I don't think they intended any others for that quest line because the whole point was for it to culminate in the ritual. The collective majahratt story line did end with the ritual, but the individual stories are separate in their own right and only passed through the ritual they did not end with it (other than Lucien and Jhallan with the dying and all) Most of the mahajratt have unresolved story lines (Zemergoul, Azzandra, Enkhara and Anthankos, Hazeel etc.) and some are just getting started (Sliske, Kharshi, Wahiestiel) I actually love this minigame. It could use a rework for making the food production easier, and also for balancing the rewards, but removing it is completely unnecessary. It's not necessarily a bad game I just don't really see a use for it in the game as a whole and the way the game has evolved it needs a use or it is pointless. I mean the gnome foods can still be made and enjoyed without it and none of the rewards are really useful. So all it has left for it that is good is a very basic take x to y mechanic that is pretty generic and does not need that content to exist to be reused. I like the idea of a delivery based minigame, I just don't think it fits well with the gnomes and the game has so little else going for it I'd rather see it scraped to allow the mechanic to be reused in something bigger and better.
  23. I don't see the logic of having a senior = not a ruler. The Duke is still ruling over Lumbridge, yes if King Rolad tells him to do something he has to do it but he is largely independent and in charge of ruling over the subjects and lands. I mean does Battle of Lumbridge not showcase this exact fact what with King Rolad doing nothing whilst the Duke works to defend and rebuild?
  24. I'm curious how literal they were being when they said hard mode would ALWAYS pick the hardest choice from the random scales. If that were true it would imply every single skill door and puzzle would require potting as they'd require 105. I'm excited for free laws n cosmics (hopefully they are effectively bound so we just have them) will make starting a floor quicker for those of us with some lag. Also the extra gatestones intrigue me; I'd assume it'll be a 2nd personal one created and teleported to via the aura. Or a 2nd one you just have that leaves a 'ghost' in your inventory to click when dropped for teleport/
  25. There is not, but tbh should not be an issue since the items get better looking in general as you progress especially at elite tier where they homogenise in to a matching outfit.
