If anything I'd say that symbol is Guthixian not Sliske's doing - he didn't have time to do it in TWW - plus it occurs in front of Guthix's resting place on a point Sliske never stood and where Guthxian's sealed Nex away. I'd hazard a guess Guthix used it to seal himself away.

This has not changed; what has changed is originally you could only loot 1 camp every 8 hours (for a total of 3 a day and hopefully 75 loot) Now you can do 3 anytime during the day, but still only 3 loots for a hopeful total of 75.

Need help with xp rates
Yeah as above just adding there's kinda no such thing as afk or semi-afk hunter or thief methods. They are both skills that are very active.

Dharok's greataxe/Godsword. ^This if you mean a literal 2h whip it just does not make sense. A whip isn't a two handed device; everything about it's design and use makes it 1 handed.

Double post, I know bad Sy but thought I just had that feels like it ought to be a new post: I wonder of tear and share interfaces extends to the context sensitive ones (eg port, pyramid plunder, cwars etc) and if so will we be able to have like a 'view-as' setting usable for building our layouts to place all the context sensitive ones. Eg set view-as dungeoneering you can't move or play the game but it'll make the key bar and such visible for you to place. Then set-as Castlewars and place those huds. Or an alternate route would be homogenising a lot of these interfaces eg have 1 context sensitive 'mini-game' bar that fills with various things subject to the game being it fish flingers, cwars etc. leaving only a few unique ones for extra palcement (eg dg keybar)

Exactly the fact you beat Tetsu and got beaten by seasinger is perfectly normal combat triangle function Melee vs Range = Ownage Melee vs Melee = On Par Melee vs Mage = You gonna get beat up. If you had used Ranged gear you'd of killed seasinger easily, deathlotus ok and tetsu woulda been an issue to take down If you had used Mage gear you'd of killed Tetsu easy, seasinger ok and deathlotus woulda been an issue. But you meleed so as expected you coulda killed Deathlotus easily, tetsu ok and seasinger posed an issue.

What gear were you using? If you were in melee gear it'd make sense a mage in seasinger can beat you whilst you stand a chance against a meleer in tetsu - that's the combat triangle at work. Especially since it's impossible for any of the 3 sets of be overpowered by themselves - they all offer identical stats they are just distributed different vs melee, range and mage subject to class.

How is this any different from public chat (or themed friends chats)? Its not any different, but I would suppose its a change in how the system works due to the game not having any loading zones. Then again the global chat looks like its a separate piece from the rest. I suppose it may even be a separate entity that can me pulled up or hidden at a whim. I would like to go into this beta with a positive forward thinking mindset. At the best I could see a global chat offering the players the opportunity to find other players looking for certain things such as teams, assistance, etc. I could honestly see players going about their business, pulling it up occasionally to say something like "LFM nex, 5 man w/ drygores." Speaking of which it would be interesting if chat could be copy and pasted into the chat (pending a few flood control mechanics being introduced). I don't see why loading zones would have any effect on the chat radius - the current radius has nothing to do with that after all. 'Global' just seems to be a re-name for 'all' mode or for 'public' mode from the shots we have.

You forgot the crucial part that this 'sample' is a 0.5 second block of chat taken from world wide chat.

^Why on earth would you want global chat to be every bit of chat from every player in the entire world. That is just not feasible as a usable function. I mean go to busy trading world or soul wars lobby or w/e and try to follow public - this is like 1/10th of the players actually online in a world. Also camera controls =/= interface they are separate entities. Equally multi fc or cc entires at once =/= interface again separate entity. Interface is purely and simply the graphical overlay of menus and boxes that allow you to access functions. 7 It says in the video, and people mentioned in this thread, is a feature. 3 is what quick prayers and/or putting prayers on the action bar are for.

Two things I took from that video: 1) They were on action bar 7 - seems like we might be getting more action bar presets. 2) The glimpse of the Duel Arena carvings looked, to me, very Saradominy - Wondering if the Duel Arena lore will be to do with Saradomin trying to recruit forces through battle tournaments when he first hit Gielinor or something. But all in all it does look very amazing on the interfaces! I mean at first I doubt I'd move much stuff from the usual current locales, I'd rather get to know them first with some familarity, but can certainly see in time how they could be thrown around for lots of new ways to play and the idea of having a few presets is very nice. Like could have one with just chat and the map coupled with homeport on ability bar for like agility or runespan. Deffo like the idea of the 4 little bars ontop of the action bar opposed to just a big chunky adrenaline one. My main issue so far would be: Do we really need these big space eating title bars on each interface? Could we do away with them and just have a slender border for the dragging click area (assuming thats what they are for) Also lol the Map Title thing seems to be supposed to say where you are but is clearly not functional as it says clan camp and shows varrock east bank in all the shots.

I was under the impression from their wording the gold payout for the charge was related to your level in the skill that it was paying out for. In which case your study would prove very unconclusive as if they change isn't huge it'd be hard to notice on a lvl 83 vs a lvl 85 stat.

Is there a farming runs calculator?
Then try the Farming Planner: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/farming_planner.htm Put in how many of what you are going to grow and it tells you what xp you'll get. Tip.it has one for pretty much every skill all in the 'Skill Planner' section found right below 'Skill Calculator' section and also they each interlink at the top (calc as link to planner, planner to calc)

Something I'd have liked to see in the cwars update that obviously won't happen: They could've made castles for most of the gods we know about that each have slight unique things about them in terms of layout and different special things eg armadyl could have special turret spots that give rangers an amplified range Just little things like that, maybe a few spots in the play field as well then the teams could just be red and blue and when each game starts they are assigned a random castle. Would add a bit of variety to the game because what castle you get and what castle your opponent gets would have an impact on how you play things. Like using the above example it'd probably be best for rangers to stay back in defence with their extra range, whilst say a Zaros castle might boost mages power meaning with that castle the mages wanna go on the attack, meaning the opponent would want rangers on the attack to break their mages. Heck build it like that using instances and you could even add like an 'extreme' mode with a 4 castle field (with an x of rivers) where the neutral place in the middle has the only flag and rather than being a case of grabbing flags and getting home it's literally a 1 flag game where your team scores points for every second the flag is atop your castle. Or other such slight alterations on the format, heck you could even throw a bunch of different game modes in to the mix and have each game picking game mode, teams and castles at random. It'd also leave the door open for future expansions and refresh simply by creating new game modes and new castles opposed to ground up reworks.

I do like them retconning in more lore - like they said in some videos a lot of this lore is already on their books and always has been they just haven't released a lot of it because it was mostly left for 'lore quests' where as now they are trying to have some 'lore quests' but everything else also has some basic lore to it; which is nice. What would be extra nice is if MTA got a makeover too and was included in at least part of the lore to better explain why on earth it is there specifically; it always seemed like such a random place for it to be, but then again we still have the mysterious upstairs portal hidden in MTA.

It was never 1 per cycle or anything of the sort, the only limit ever imposed on it was 75 reward token thingies looted per day (which equates to 3 camps a day assuming you fully loot)

That'd work, or the other way around. Anything but more identical items for the same slot >.< Personally I think it'd be better if auto and glacor were the offensive. I think if sets must be separate rather than interchangeable it makes sense for defensive gear to be made with skills/games whilst offensive is earned from pure combat.

You can have 3. When used it spawns new adventurers in port. This has no bearing on voyages already sent out, eg the occultist might be ought on a voyage but show up again. The only condition is when a special voyage from the first set returns it can cause re-rolled ones to disappear because when they return they 'clear' their adventurer slot.

Poll #2 Live (Rares Polls Discussion)
Question 7 seems rather unfair in that it is not a feature Runescape has ever had, even the current live game lacks it. As for the new worlds it is very clear: These new worlds will have the F2P restrictions in place on map, equipment etc. However to play OSRS you MUST have membership. All they offer is a controlled environment for rune pking or w/e that people cannot hijack with dragon or w/e

So really the xp formula is just: (x^2-2x+100)/2 On the basis that the xp formula is the calculation for what 1 gives, the multiplication by how many you have isn't necessary for that value and is just a logical step to derive the xp you'll get. Though if you really wanted to include it should be a variable (y, n or w/e) rather than set 25 seeing as it is not a set value. Also it is just a recycle of Jagex's old fave x^2+2x-100 aka 99 + (x-1)^2 which is the formula for shattered heart, Jack of Trades and crops up in troll invasion with altered signs where it's 8*(wr/wm*(x^2-2x+100)) where wr is the wave you reach and wm is the max waves (which is 7, 20 or 1500 depending on which u play)

black demons.. again
But nobody in their right minds would go slay wearing only karil's coif + top + skirt, they'd probably be wearing at least barrows gloves (better bonuses overall compared to armadyl gloves.) Otherwise, they'd get the next lowest RFD gloves/Armadyl gloves, and would probably wear Arma/Bandos/Subj boots (or Ganodermic boots.) Plus I do not see the point in comparing two sets of armour in term of armour bonuses if you aren't comparing the same amount of equipment pieces. Like I explained I was giving the original numbers as rough thing of the relative positions of each armour set in relation to each other; not as verbatim wear this exact gear and nothing else setup guides. The express point was to highlight the fact of the fairly substantial difference between even Royal and the lvl 70 counterparts in terms of defence. And your point is self undermining in that in the later reply, which you quoted from, I both explained this AND provided numbers taken for just the body and legs of each set - the bits that would certainly be worn.

What is this awesome armor called?
That would the be the yellow Pharoh Ankh (Pharoh Top and lacks the ankh or 'cross' for females) and the Pharoh Shendyt from the Pharoh Outfit bought from loyalty store for 2000 points. The staff is Pharoh's Sceptre from Pyramid Plunder.

Yay today I finally met the biologist. Sidebar: Did anyone notice she was originally the botanist but got changed to the biologist a few weeks later? I guess someone at Jagex HQ noticed the derp that a Botanist (effectively a biologist specialising in plants, in case anyone wasn't aware) would have 0 interest in studying sea orphans where as a biologist in general would.
