  1. I wouldn't say that's calling you a liar or a hacker. Its just a statement of fact that the data on record suggests that the account was created by a different source than the one you have evidence for. There can be several causes of such things happening. Sure hacking may be one cause, but so could account sharing, account buying, a friend giving you an old account or even something as simple as a move of address during the lifetime of the account (especially if its an international move). I mean if someone were to look at the data for my account it could quite easily appear that I, the current user, created it but over a period between 2009 and 2012 there was someone (or possibly multiple someones) using it that was not me. Why? Because I moved like 120 miles for university and so had 3 different addresses that would have dramatically differing ips and play schedules compared to my home time. Heck sometimes a change of email address and moving to a new internet provider could be enough to make that data look like a change of user. It may be a pita not being able to get the account back if such a boring normal occurrence is to blame in making the usage data look funny, but ultimately I'd rather have a few incorrect denials of return to ensure the integrity of the system as a whole than the system be too lax and allow genuine hackers, rwts etc to recover 'lost' accounts.
  2. From what I recall of bxp events no kicking or restarting involved - it just starts giving double xp.
  3. They look good for sure, would be a bit easier to judge if they hadn't gone with a black cape on an all black outfit though! Hard to really see how it fits around the shoulders and front in terms of edges etc.
  4. They are the kinda thing you need to use in the early game before you get more established and obtain teleports. Plus they feed into a few tasks and quests and things.
  5. I know we can call it seedicide! Now where's my free phats for being super original in my ideas?
  6. It seems like progress at least. They are rightly looking at moving some very complete yes or no content that has some sort of unlovck about it (lore, story w/e) down to comp where it really should be to begin with. Standing firm on moving stuff up is fair enough to me, tbh there isn't a lot of normal comp that doesn't fit - mostly its just the elf titles imho. Sure if they hadn't already shifted the goal posts by whacking bosses on there I'd argue they should be trim, but whats done is done and they may as well stay now. There are a few on both that are arguably a bit RNG heavy still, but most can be touched up without altering the req. IE get something in motherlode maw to 'buy' the morvan special, but it is a 1 time thing that u can only have 1 of and cannot be won if you have beaten his challenege. Maybe look at adding the a form of the boss pet thresholding system into champ scrolls and kalger titles etc. Plus atleast they are looking at the cwars req, which is the stand out req of brokeness.
  7. Interesting to see the figure work, looks like we have a new go to summon method for those of us too poor/lazy to do taverly methods. Plus that amllodness benefits from the VoS boost and the instant turn in making shard shortage less likely.
  8. On the Captains the answer is no. 10k appear in the 1 before last region. 35k in the last. As for resources the only way to reliably get them is to set your focus to that particular region and do the lower tier voyages that pay them out. The good news is they are faster, tend to have better payouts that get insane with higher tier merchants and are lower reqs so you can 100% them.
  9. I have 4/5 35k capts, waiting on a 2nd morale one. My intent is to just power through with whatever traits they come with and progressively erase the them and feed in the good traits. My morale one is perfect already due to sheer dumb luck of a 0 trait buy, the other 3 need work though.
  10. Worth noting unless you actively opted at the time of rs2 launch to keep ur account on rsc it automagically moved to rs2
  11. Your clicking figures for kyatt are based on false assumptions of how to do it well. Talking to kyatt is one left click. Keyboard 2 teleports. Tokkul-zo can be activated to teleport via hotbar theen keyboard gets you to tele. You can basically use left click and the 2 button to do the whole procedure. Presets cancel out banking time swapping the seeds sure, but not the banking time resulting from charging the seeds or the banking time from extra runs to accommodate carrying a seed. I can't see prif being 4 seconds faster by any means. Sure if your net sucks and you get bad loads times the ladder might nerf you, but I mean a good run at kyatt is 30 seconds or less if your pro and those are figures that came before bank presets made things faster.
  12. So you want mule accounts to be a thing again? Dude you know how long RS has been focusing on PvM and skrewing the rest over? People made billions upon billions several times over with their rago tea party. I have three  Tbh I don't really care one bit if people make mules. If they wanna waste time faffing around to distribute wealth to avoid death taxes let em. What I care about is poorer players who entire wealth is poured into 1 set of gear being absolutely screwed over by a death tax that would charge them more to get their gear back than they could hope to gather in the 3 days.
  13. Does VoS still boost xp? I thought that went away which meant its only summon effects were increased rocks and 12 scrolls per pouch.
  14. Thinking about this further I think there would only be 1 fair way to implement this proposed system. And that would be basing the cost off a calculation of total bank worth minus the value of items within the death system. This value could then dictate the charge made. Because this way uber riches with banks worth like 3-10 or more times the value of the gear they are risking can safely be slapped with large death bills, whilst the poor folks who might have like 99.999999....% of their wealth in that one set of gear they slaved for to try out some pvm can't be hit with massive charges they can never hope to pay.
  15. No. You get so few charges per tele seed, plus you sacrifice an inventory spot, plus the Amlodd tele spot isn't really that close to the obelisk. Factor in all that clicking/typing to get through the tele seeds and the lost inventory spot and the extra bank time swapping out seeds and the down time to recharge them you'd probably make near as many pouches running bk n forth in priff as you would with teles. And it certainly does not come close to rivalling kyatt method in terms of pouches an hour. I mean priff isn't a bad method if you wanna take it a bit slower and enjoy the perks of the increased yield shard swap in shop right in your training ground, but it is the slower paced less pouches per hour option.
  16. Can't say I'm a fan of this proposal. Yes death needs to be reworked and yes we need a money sink, but this just seems like a horribly flawed system. The uber rich folks who really need gp siphoned off are suitable good enough at bossing to not die much and thus won't be hit really. Meanwhile those of us who struggle and save and work hard to get some decent gear to even have a shot at trying out some high end pvm content are going to be hit by death bills that we can't afford to pay easily so we'll get 1 shot then have to go back to mindless grinding to try and garner enough gp to get our gear back before we die again. Seems like a design that punishes the poor for being poor, without really effecting the rich and adds another hurdle to learning to pvm. Not very good but wanna learn? Good all you need is to beg borrow and steal to get expensive gear, then quite probably pay out obscene amounts to a good team for them to even look at teaching you unless you happen to have friends. But oh no your not very good so you died...guess you best go beg borrow and steal to get your gear back and then do it again to pay for another team to teach you. Plus I'm not a fan of the way it kind makes all deaths and recovery from them an even playing field. As it stands what grave you did or did not buy, what back up gear you have and your knowledge of how to get around all play a factor in retrieving your gear when dying - particularly at lower levels. Die in a far flung corner and it is a moderate challenge to get back in time, get killed by a goblin outside lumby and its nothing. I feel like there could be a better solution involving the idea of ghosts/resurrection that many games play with. Like when you die you become a ghost for X time. Make it so you can pay death to be instantly resurrected with a choice of where you died or at a hub. Apply the charging mechanic to this - more/better gear means more cost to come right back. Meanwhile if you just exist as a ghost until time expires you re-spawn with a gravestone for gear (maybe spawned in a graveyard rather than at deathsite?) Maybe work in a 'get back to your grave and instant respawn for free' sub-system to add that challenge. That way the rich sob will happily turf out a few mil here and there to get a do over, whilst the poorer people can simply wait out a few minutes of being unable to do much.
  17. To ensure that the Global Warming quest was slightly less than an absolute waste of time? Except for the whole part about how it totally is~ Also, adamantite and runite are hyped up as being crazy strong metals, and yet are considerably worse than both the ancient, visibly moldy armor the barrows brothers wore and steel armor from the east. What steel armour from the east? Tetsu? That's made from 'plate' which is never specified as a specific metal-type and is totally separate from the stainless steel resource. Barrows its kinda debatable about whether it looks mouldy or is just brown since we have never seen it in its original state and the fact Akrisae's set takes on the same appearance and he was only wighted very recently kinda suggests its not decayed so much as it is a side effect of the wight making magics/Sliske imbuing the gear with magical properties.
  18. I had some time to kill and was in one of my play with spreadsheets moods so I made a Gen VI training calc https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Huw406GhSr9TkfhDz3KbP10koU8iDLT_hvPEdzJFvoQ/edit?usp=sharing Was originally just gonna do it for Blisseys since the whole triple battle self killing Blissey thing, but since I had a list of pokemon anyway for the data it wasn't much work to chuck in a list of their base xp values so now you can calc training vs anything you like. There are a few weird cases listed in the instructions that need some testing, but the rest should give pretty solid figures if anyone wants to grab a copy and use it for themselves.
  19. Tokkul-zo beats ring of duelling for pouches per hour as it has infinite teles right to a bank which reduces some bank time. Plus most figures don't really account for load out presets allowing for 1 click to dump pouches and grab new supplies.
  20. All we wanted was a few piles of terracotta/azure and new pufferfish colours, but nooooo they go and ruin it all ='[ RIP Puffy the most important crew man that ever did serve in any port of Gielinor. Your technicolour transforming self may be gone but long shall your spirit reign!
  21. The camera focus on the centre of the 3D world window, which is where your player is located. If you go into edit mode you can tick to edit the 3D world window and scale/move it as you see fit; by default the 3D world window fills the whole screen and goes behind interfaces in places so the focus will always be the centre of your screen.
  22. I didn't know that being a god lost your original race also, fail! Would you class things like dragonkin non-race due to not being able to reproduce? Or just when lack of numbers cause this? Dragonkin are a weird case. I think I'd need to know more about how many of them there are before deciding whether they qualify as a race or not - if there's just a handful, then probably not; if there's a few hundred, then maybe. It's complicated by the fact that in sci-fi and fantasy, we often use "race" as a combination of "species" and "civilization". They're clearly a species, albeit a sort-of manufactured one, but I'm not sure I'd call them a culture or civilization. (If you're asking about my "dead race" comment, the question would be whether or not I'd call them a dead race, not whether or not I'd call them a race at all. I'd hesitate to call them a dead race without more information about them.) Like you said, they are not a race but might be a species. A race would mean that they can reproduce with other races (like african people and european people can get children) In real life something is considered a species when it is or was able to reproduce (or multiply), I know nothing of the dragonkin but it depends on how they came into being if they are a race. For example in real life a Mule is not considered a species, as they are not able to reproduce. However as this is a game, one might consider something a species if it was able to reproduce or multiply in the past, but somehow lost that ability. If they came into existence from nothing (or from an elder god), than that is something not comparable to real life, which would make it more difficult. All life in the Runescape world came into being from nothing or from an elder god. Heck all life irl came into being from nothing - whether you believe in creationism via religion or science and evolution we all became from nothing. As for the Dragonkin all we know of them is they lived in the previous universe, hid in the abyss when it ended then pleaded with Jas for salvation resulting in them being enslaved to the Stone. Nowhere do we have lore that says Dragonkin cannot reproduce - all we know for certain is to date we are only aware of males of the species surviving. The ones who lost the ability to reproduce are the Dragon Riders. In regards to the race/species thing I think most fantasy worlds call all civilised humanoid beings races with the implication that they can indeed cross breed. There's certainly stuff floating around the game the implies as much for most humanoid species we know of - The dwarf in love with the human at gunnar's grun, the apparent romance between rhiannon the elf and dharmorac the human, Moia being a half-breed of mahjaratt and human, the myreque guy who seems to be part icyene. Plus your notion of race meaning different parts of same species and species being separate things doesn't exactly hold true. Horses and Donkeys are separate species, not breeds of the same one, yet they can produce Mules. Lions and Tigers are independent species yet can produce Ligers and Tigons. What can interbreed is rather a messy thing and often being in the same genus but different species is enough, but then on other occasions different breeds within the same species have issue with interbreeding.
  23. Replayable quests with a few unique bonus rewards for the replay like Broken Home? Win for me. A prestige reset system for replaying? Ew no.
  24. It's a lot more than an inflation shift, at least if we are talking US dollars. Inflation has not been all that great in the past decade due to the recession and general fiscal sanity. What Arceus said plus the fact inflation on the dollar is almost entirely irrelevant considering Jagex is a UK based company and therefore their price shifts would be tied to GBP inflation. Then layer on various other factors that would cause value shift that effect price such as changes to the minimum wage, changes to tax thresholds, introduction of the latest work place pension thing, general cost rises faced since the recession etc. etc. And finally slap on the exchange rate of GBP to USD (or AUD or EUR or w/e)
