The initial implementation of eoc making major changes is a different ballpark to the on-going tweaks we are addressing here. We all knew eoc was bringing big changes and we also had several months forewarning of those changes - any one who cared to pay attention had dumped and bought accordingly well before launch.

^ I don't think that argument really holds true. Things became obsolete all the time and updates always messed up the usefulness of items - just in different ways. Did not every new op spec wep render its forerunners useless? Did not new content render older stuff useless like dragon meds and chains? Certainly eoc is more prone to turning things on their head because it should've been in beta much longer and reached a better final form instead of dripping feeding tweaks and u-turns over the course of 2+ years, but its not exactly an eoc revelation that you had to worry about your items becoming obsolete - nearly new piece of content held the power to do that to your gear.

I noticed that but decided not to abuse it. Go in pay 177 points for the runes. Then you inventory is worth 354 points.

I wonder if runespan might screw people over this weekend if they forget to leave. Afterall current points in inventory can go up and down and is dynamically based on the runes you have, therefore logic would suggest it is entirely possible if you do not leave (and thus turn your runes in) that when the doubled points go away your current inventory score could easily un-double and cause you to lose all those extra points.

We suggested water because they are weak to water and water spells will do much better against them. Admittedly to see the full force of this you need ice barrage, but fire wave certainly won't do more damage than water surge. Fire wave caps out at 720 dmg whilst water surge goes to 816, not to mention these amounts directly feed into abilities effecting their dmg too.

But its not really an lp buff, max lp is still pretty much identical as it was before - the only difference being the first 9900 relies purely on your level and the rest relies on top tier armour opposed to maxing out at like 4-5k and armours giving the rest, with only top tiers achieving the 10k+ figures.

Severing the link between hp lvl and food healing seems like a dumb move imo (unless it is pvp exclusive) Sure some lazy people who can't be bothered to take 2 seconds to check levels may suffer from it, but by and large it is a GOOD feature. It stops lower levels have access to insane amounts of healing that make it hard to make low level content actually challenging and it helped to infuse some value to the whole spectrum of food in-game opposed to just focussing in on the top choices.

There may be some super convoluted way to do it, but the short answer is no. That said most games that boot windowed should have a resolution setting in their graphics which will dictate the size of the window - finding that and changing it to match your actual screen res would achieve a similar result.

Nice to see some minigame reworks are at least in dev now! Here's hoping a few others are high on the to do list and/or being done by other teams. Pc and Ba seem like worthy places to start with reworks, two of the older but more popular minigames that suffered from outdated rewards and eoc changes. Would definitely like to see swars and fog get a good shake up too, crucible beta stuff seems to be on track so hopefully that can continue into duel arena. That'd kinda hit most of the 'big name' minigames and then hopefully address the rest in due course too (trouble brewing, vinesweeper etc etc.)

I wonder if Hoopa and Volcanion will be in this remake opposed to being XY events? Hoopa in particular I always felt fitted with Jirachi as a kind of pair, which would fit with Hoenn. The concept of Volcanion kinda fits well with Kyorge and Groundon and Rayquaza too sort of the core of the planet beneath the land and sea vs the skies above of rayquaza. Also kinda felt Volcanion and Heatran could have a link like Diance and Carbink, but that doesnt fit with Hoenn particularly. Another question this raises for me is will we see more starter megas? Would make sense for mega-blaziken to show up with a torchic starter, so could it mean megas for sceptile and swampert? Also wonder, if it isnt just a remake, whether it could bring with it a whole raft of new megas, the gen 6 pokedex additions are quite slim, even with the megas in there - would make sense for there to be some more perhaps. I also feel this may not be the last games of this gen, I feel like and xy 2 or z or w/e may appear to open up southern kalos. It just stands out very much to me that Kalos is divded quite clearly into central, coastal and mountain but then Kiloude City is on its own further south than anything else and referred to specifically as a southern kalos city.

I'm curious how we even know for sure this will be TH - I mean sure its on the unofficial wiki, but where are they getting this info from? There's not even any discussion or cited source

They haven't specifically said it's a remake, just that they are a "fresh take on Ruby and Sapphire" so there's scope for it. At the very least they're going to have to find away to suddenly explain mega-evolution in the games. I'd say most of the stuff in that trailer heavily imply it is not a remake and more in the vein of bw2 "an epic new adventure is coming!" - a remake does not really constitute a 'new' adventure. "explore a dramatic new world" - a remake of hoenn as it was wouldn't really be a 'new world.' Plus its kinda inevitable its gonna be changed - they can't just ignore megas and fairy-typing and pokebank will ensure both can easily enter the game.

Where is this? I'm hoping I don't need to collect 100 elder chronicles to finish this. Charming Imp can also collect elder charms. Its on the chronicle fragment jagex wiki page. However, you have to collect 100 chronicles in-game to unlock them in-game and clear the comp trim req. Side-bar I got Timbo to respond to me on twitter when I gave shall we say 'sassy' feedback about the charm transmuting pointing out it turned potential summ xp into less potential summ xp all for the cost of more time used.

Overall this update to me is: eh Some of the new portents etc seem like they may have some use, but like how used are the existing ones? Most of them are too much faff to bother with. The familiar is of course an utter waste - a wonderful bob to store items you don't need to take anywhere and all for the low low cost of killing monsters with kinda sucky drops and using a div colony with sucky xp! The colony itself the xp is kinda sucky. And the elder lore stuff? Pita to 'unlock' especially since all 10 are already on the wiki and its not exactly thirlling new lore - just an in-game reiteration of podcast/qa facts that Jas = progression, Ful = creation, Wen = destruction, Bik = alteration and Mah = imagination.

I'm not sure what the issue is here? You say your laptop has newer drivers than the website offers - this would be simple, don't download older drivers. But then you mention it being 4 years old, which would seem contradictory of the earlier statement given that the website offers drivers dated 25th April 2014. Also the website clearly states: " If you experience difficulty while using the generic AMD Catalyst Mobility drivers, we recommend reverting to the driver provided by your notebook vendor. Please contact your notebook vendor for their most recent graphics drivers." This would suggest since you ARE having trouble with the generic drivers you SHOULD revert to the driver provided by your notebook vendor, which is what you have done - it also then suggests checking with the provider. ^ Yup Also the burrow at the ne edge of the tracking area is by far the best one to use. It only has 1 route, which removes the need to faff around to work out where it went as you can literally learn exactly what to click to progress it.

Yeah the only issue with dragon is the rather ridiculous things they crop up as 'rewards' for - fair enough the ones pre-eoc like claws are a bit wtf now, but they are where they are due to different times. But when new ones arrive with high-end content its like really? I mean no-one who NEEDS dragon items is gonna be able to kill Chaos Giants for example, but conversely their 'special' drop being so pants means no-one who CAN kill them really will. I kinda feel like basically all the dragon items from higher level mobs and quests should be ripped out and given to like the chromatic dragons or demons and hellhounds then work out wtf can be used to replace them in drop tables etc that makes more sense for the levels opposed to artificially inflating values through upgrades (chaotic claws and ascensions)

^ Well I'd do solos for c2 rushes for floors 1-30 (or all but ur last 10 floors if tht goes lower than 30) just because most teams cba with doing tht, but certainly for your 'proper' floors groups is better. They did do some rebalancing on xp rates so solo isn't as much of a train wreck as it once was, if you can get good times its pretty passable now - but even so it does not compare to the xp for team floors.

Not totally sure but it SEEMS like we're getting higher quantities of normal loot from rago. (I got 45 and 47 onyx bolts in 2 drops, when the wiki says he drops 20-40). My friend got 38 grimy torstols. It looks like some drops are doubled (four dstone instead of two from kk), and drop RATE of the goodies is doubled too Thats the rare drops being doubled, which is independent of the 'expanded drop tables' for kk rago and rots

Design docs they said are probably gonna be released 1 a week starting the 12th of May - the idea being we the players get to look at them and give feedback to inform the dev. There are 5 docs - 1 for the tower of voices and the other 4 cover the families portions of the city. Afterwards they'll release a 6th amalgamated doc highlighting changes made in response to feedback.

As far as I know elder divination is located on the crater is Freneskae That would make more sense :P Especially seeing as elder div is out on mon/tues whilst the dg update is the 19th at the earliest. Resource dung I'd imagine would tie in to the new slayer task, unless the task is frosts.
