Could you list any extensions you may have in use? Possibly the Key could also pertain a problem, as I've had when I just got McAfee. (That is assuming it is from McAfee, which has a simple just like that). EDIT: Could you try in incognito mode with all extensions disabled?

Can you use a new 'throwaway' mail address to try and create a new account? Just seems like the account creation got halted halfway through the process and from then on it seemed glitched. It then thinks the account is available, when in reality it is not at the same time. This seems the most likely cause/reason.

His method doesn't involve the wilderness, and as far as I know there are too few quick ways to get into the wildy and out of it again. So I suppose just running out of edge bank, hop over and do fm for an hour w/yak to try and test the amount of logs burned, then telly back with amulet of glory. That would be my plan I think, if I were to continue this.
