  1. That was fantastic, fat stig, Hammond nearly driving into the alligator river, roadkill, rednecks, priceless
  2. On each arm?
  3. All the ones mentioned are great, but this one stands out to me. The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao
  4. i was thinking the exact same thing. one of the best movies ever. I loved that film :D
  5. Oasis, Queen, Snow Patrol?
  6. Forgetting about the New Testament?
  7. Good point, I agree. However, I am actually starting to think that climate change is an issue that needs to be addressed. No not through silly taxing air travel initiatives, but by looking into alternative energy sources for the rapidly developing countries like China and India. Because let's face it, at the rate they're industrialising it doesn't matter how many lights we turn off. Yes, climate change is an issue, we have to face up to that. I've long dodged it and been skeptical but actually, if we don't really look into what we're doing, it might be too late already. Of course, these are all issues that need addressing though. No point tackling climate change to preserve a society in which child abuse goes unchecked. It's just some are a little more essential for our overall survival as a species. I'd also like to add politcal correctness to that list :P
  8. Something like what? An advanced-yet secret-and-not-fully-tested-but-will-be and-be-released-in-a-few-years-plane? The military have always had to have secrets to keep ahead of other militaries. They probably will be revealed at some point though because they have to be used at some point. And if you're referring to the laws of physics point, then my whole point on it is that there simply isn't a new secret revelation that would lead to a perpetual motion device and infinite energy. It doesn't work like that. Also, Rofl :P
  9. Pretty much anything with an Aston Martin badge on it turns out to be gorgeous, especially the very old or very new models. I've also developed a great fondness for some Alfa Romeo's recently, I think they look stunning for a very reasonable price. But of course, the Bugatti really is something special.
  10. A shower nearly always. But sometimes when i've played a particularly tough rugby or hockey match, and am a bit battered and bruised a relaxing bath is actually very nice.
  11. This is very amusing. Has it not occurred to anybody that it might be very convenient for the goverment to spread rumours and myths surrounding top secret aircraft that have been spotted being tested? Quite clearly, Area 51 is a base where they test very advanced military technologies, particularly aircraft. Therefore, whenever somebody sees a futuristic looking aircraft-prototype flying around somebody shouts "UFO!" and suddenly any possible military type speculation subsides and everyone talks about UFO's. It's so top secret because again, the technologies they test there are advanced, they wouldn't want their secret getting out. I also doubt that they shoot random "drunks" who accidentaly stray into the territory without some kind of reason. Again, it could be more myths that are spread to steer people away. Another point, people have talked about the laws of physics as if the government scientists have secretly cracked some kind of physics code for unlimited energy and super-fast travel, and aren't telling anyone. People say "oh well, 100 years ago someone said flight would be impossible and look at us now". That's fine, but we know so much more than we did 100 years ago. I'm no PhD physicist, but I know enough to know that there are only really two or three totally grey areas in physics right now. Quantum gravity, string theory (becoming clearer) and dark matter. Possibly super-conductivity as well. The first two are linked anyway. The simple fact is there are hundreds of theoretical physicists and experimental physicists (not employed by the government) all over the world working on physics. They have formulated so many laws and rules that have stood up to every test thrown at them. Even I can see the proof for them. It's not like there's a branch of government scientists keeping all these amazing physics secrets to themselves which nobody else has been able to think of. Sheesh.
  12. Most laptop cases aren't the easiest of things to open. :? Compressed air is still by far the easiest way to clean the dust out, even if takes more than one can. Blowing air both forward and backward through both fan ports will do the best job. It may not get it all right away but it will break it up and still help get it out. Friend said to try a vacum.....anyone say anything against this? Some people might advise against it, but it worked for me.
  13. The whole point is though, that if there is a creator, it doesn't have a cause, and we simply cannot describe and explain it with the scientific laws in our universe. Thus why no ones view of 'the creator' or chosen diety is correct. You can't really analyse the supernatural with your very much natural brain, eyes, hands, ears and nose. My thoughts exactly :P
  14. A perfect pendulum in a vacuum swings forever, (air) resistance is the main thing slowing down a pendulum. If you are not removing energy from an oscillating system then there is no reason for it to stop oscillating. That's a good point actually. If we imagine our universe (assume for a second there's only one) as an energy system from which despite various energy changes there is no net loss or gain of energy, then there is no reason why it cannot continue to function forever.

  16. Deep Purple are awesome, buy a greatest hits type cd of theirs and you won't regret it. Also, as a bit of a Clapton fan Wonderful Tonight is probably his least classic rock type song. Check out: Layla, Badge, Sunshine of Your Love, White Room and Tales Of Brave Ulysses. If I had to pick one of those, Layla, hands down.
  17. Anything Clapton related, 'specially Derek and the Dominos and Cream. I'm not saying it's all classic-rock, but it's normally pretty damn good.
  18. A common mistake is to do massive amounts of press-ups or situps to try and build muscle. If you want to build muscle mass you should do low repetitions of high weights. This is a little trickier for sit-up type exercises without access to a gym, but try doing it with a weight on your upper chest area. For home exercises though, a set of adjustable dumbells is very useful. Personally, I play hockey for about an hour or two normally once or twice a week this time of the year, normally in matches or training. Rugby before Christmas, and tennis in the summer. I also go to the gym three/four times a week to work with weights and go swimming. In the summer I also cycle a lot, and run in the winter, although less running this winter.

You're right, I can't really prove that incest is a danger to society (if children don't come out of it), but common sense dictates that it just isn't right.
  20. I get them all the time, they're so convincing as well, it's almost hard to brush it off simply as deja vu, it's like I really have experienced this exact same feeling/situation a while ago.
  21. We seem to hate any change that might inconvenience us as a species, and can't seem to understand that now matter how many protocols we sign up to, the ice caps will melt at some point in the future. Surely by going ecofriendly we're only procrastinating the inevitable?
  22. After a lot of consideration and research, and until proven otherwise, I feel like I should say that I agree with your theory Ambassadar. :) As you say, it's not concrete proof, but it goes a fair way.
  23. To be fair, I feel like I should quote a link that has long been in Red Tanya's sig: Firefox Myths Yes, I still use firefox because I like it.
  24. See ya, good luck with everything.
