Which side are you on? (political)
Nothing too surprising there.

War on Terrorisim.....Your Opinion?
Oh I know, I was being sarcastic (hard to tell I guess). I agree with Assassin, but I think the problem starts on the home front. I mean, G Bush believes himself that he's president because of some divine providence. That can be just as dangerous as the extremist wackos in the middle east imo. And herein lies the problem. Essentially I believe that the American war machine is in a roundabout way on the side of the 'good guys' but we can't really be sure who to trust when the leaders on both sides claim divine instruction.

Fate: Fact or False?
I read an interesting essay today by Stephen Hawking, called 'Is Everything Determined?' I won't go into the details unless anyone wants me to, but the conclusion is that, yes everything is determined, but it might as well not be because we can never know what is determined. A very interesting read.

An amazing new technology, Microsoft Surface
Course it's a while off, but I suppose that kind of wireless technology is definitely the future.

Smoking
It's a personal decision, cigarrette smoking isn't for me but I don't condemn others for doing it. Admittedly, i'm not fond of the image associated with smoking in Britain at the moment (12 years old, tracksuits, street corner) but that's just me.

War on Terrorisim.....Your Opinion?
I think it's misleading and confused, in reality we should be addressing the key problem behind Islamic terrorism, faith. We can't win this 'war' as long as we allow fundamental Muslim beliefs to go unchecked and unquestioned.

What kind of music do you play?
I kind of alternate between playing technically impressive solos and lead parts and easier chord driven songs to sing a long to. I can't really say I prefer either outright, the chord stuff is easier to pick up quickly but the lead parts sound better when you've been working on them for a while. I'm also fond of just improvising around blues scales trying to improve my technique and improvisation. Pink Floyd's stuff appeals to me for the lead parts, they're not too complex and are well defined, but still are suitably challenging especially some of the solos. It would be awesome to have that flair of Hendrix of Stevie Ray Vaughn but that's a little beyond me. Acoustically, I like Oasis and the Babyshambles, although i'm not fussy, i'll play anything that works well.

The Official Games For Cheap Losers Thread?!
Game: OGame Genre: Text based strategic space based simulation game. Playablility: It's good, especially if you've got a few mates who've play and you get into a bit of an alliance. Screenshots: Meh, http://www.ogame.org Personal opinion: Hardly takes any time out of your day because stuff takes an hour to build or an hour to travel, so it's easy to fit in around a busyish schedule.

LOTRO anyone playing it, if so read :)
Yeah I thought the same, but the community is actually fantastic, generally very mature, friendly and just willing for a chat and a bit of fun. I think the fanboy element is probably concentrated on the RP servers. And I'd like to add to what Lightning said as well, if anyone is looking for some help getting started or even with some later quests (lvl 28 atm) then give 'Ozymandias' (me) a tell and i'll be more than willing. :)

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
I don't really value the critics judgement with these kind of films. Okay, they might not be brilliant pieces of filming, but essentially you just want to have a laugh while watching them. I've heard that if you enjoyed the other two then you'll probably enjoy this.

Hmm?

Have humans exceeded..
I think the moment we evolved to gain consciousness and therefore have the ability to act against our primal urges of reproduction is the moment when we became something very special indeed. It's easy to look around at all the destructive tendencies of humanity, but i'm more inclined to look at all the things we've done and think, "Wow! We're amazing!"

Finger Length Predicts SAT Performance
Hang on, has anyone here said that their index finger is longer than their ring? Anyway, if true it's interesting. I'm not great at grasping foreign languages like I am maths and my ring finger is indeed longer. Still, my test results are fairly even.

What can be the problem with my computer - CPU checked
That sounds pretty likely. The only other question I want to add is how long does this lag seem to go on? 10 minutes? an hour? Until the next day? Yeah, AVG certainly used to run a scan around that time that was fairly discrete, I'm sure other virus scanners would do as well.

Baggy pants background
I think the problem with your original post is that you're assuming that just because wearing trousers (yes, they are) like that had it's roots in homosexuality in prisons, it doesn't have to mean that that carries over to the style now. I know that's obvious, and probably wasn't your intention, but there are loads of examples of trends or styles which have their roots in something like that which don't carry over today. GAP springs to mind. I don't wear them round my ankles, or to expose my boxers, I do it just because wearing them slightly lower than exactly waist height is more comfortable.

Ever Get the Hell Beat Out of You?
Wait a minute, me!? Bubsa was the one to start all this.. Ask BlueLancer, he took care of the original posts.. Yes you. I know Bubsa started it but he started it as a mild dig/joke. You're the one who's clearly getting all worked up about it and simply baiting yourself for more digs. Relax.

PLease NO!!!!!!!!!!
I actually read an article today about a guy who shaved all his hair to see what it was like being bald. Apparently there are several perks, being bald makes you look 'ard' so people move out of your way more often in case they get floored. But there also disadvantages, like women not finding you attractive. But don't worry, there might be a cure!

Words You Just HATE.
Another one I hate which has crept into my school recently is 'standards'. I mean seriously, do you think it makes you sound hard saying it? Grow up.

Words You Just HATE.
Haha. that managerstalk. Horrible. But you have to concede, it often leads to a user-friendly encompassing project with a synergized exuding hub which in the end produces a streamlined solution-oriented workforce to help optimize our dot-com e-markets. :P
