The proof of this can be found in a rsof message from Mod Maz herself in one of her shattered heart threads. I saw it, but forgot where...

It helps if you switch skills between rocks you are trying to get, like fish - cook - fish - cook. Doing this resets the chance of getting the second rock to what it was for the first rock.

Nope, he is wise enough to admit a lack of knowledge which cannot be a bad thing (nobody can know everything.) The persons who can't be bothered to look up things they don't know, keep quiet about it and base their opinions on falsehoods are the ones that make Americans (or any country they happen to live in) look bad.

Ah, did you find the windows for workgroups 3.11 version of runescape the best version ever too? </sarcasm> On topic: I guess you miss-typed 2004 s 1994 as the runescape beta started in 2001 :-)

So....anyone completed strange rock statue yet?
rsp replied to Amundogus2's topic in General Discussion
I kinda like the odd 9K exp you get for adding 2 rocks to the museum statue, I will probably continue to look for rocks just for that exp bonus after the POH statue completes. (Bit of a shame we will have to exercise our 99 skills for that too, but oh well :-) ) -
Bingo! You just made Pulli's point :-) Pyramid schemes are run by scammers and are illegal.

You can boost your Prayer level by +2 by Praying at the Monestry (east of Edgeville) :) Using the special of the ancient mace is perfect for boosting prayer level.

Huh? Who made that edit? Doesn't look like it was saruman44, so who did?

Keeping a lookout for falling stars is a nice way to train mining. The mines south of draynor and under the grand tree are good, as is the resource cave in the mining guild for wich you need level 45 dungeoneering to enter. If you want to level crafting too, the shilo gem mine is a good spot to work on both skills together.

When is tip.it going to take action against these cheaters? Anyone advertising illegal behavior should not be allowed to use these forums, imho.

Wasting time while you enjoy yourself is the sole purpose of games, so yes! :shades:

it's because you don't know hwo to obtain a construction rock...you need to "not" be in construction mode. While waiting on a construction rock, it is possible to create teleport tablets in normal mode. Let the butler get your soft clay.

nope it can only handle 32 bit, magic number is 2.147b but thats in game, i dont think highscores run on java, its more spreadsheet based To quote JavaDoc MAX_VALUE public static final long MAX_VALUE A constant holding the maximum value a long can have, 2^63 - 1. 64-bit integers it is :-)

You now really sound like a scared person who can't think as an individual being: "help there happens something others said it isn't good, now we have to believe them". Your answer is more of a reflection of your worldview than a reply to my post, but I will be more explicit: Having thought individually about the illegal activity of botting, I do not think we (tip.it) should give the proponents a platform to defend their illegal activities while trying to "prove" that they are useful. Using bots is an abuse of the system and unfair to all other players who chose to play the way RuneScape is meant to be played. Therefore I request that this thread be closed by a tip.it moderator.
-
I am wondering why this thread has not been closed yet, it can't be that tip.it moderators haven't seen it... Discussions that try to convince others of the usefulness of an illegal activity do not belong on tip.it! Close please.

They probably meant to say "digging up" instead of "chopping down" trees.

Stand at the hero guild rune rocks and get the ores before the hoppers do :)

It can never be the fault of the people who set the rules that others break those rules and cheat their way through the system. (This attitude is very akin to saying; "I'm sorry judge, but that girl really asked for it to be raped by the way she dresses". The problem is with the rule breakers, not with the rest of the world that decides to play according to the rules set for the greater good.) I think you want to play a totally different game from what RuneScape is today. Do yourself a favor and to look for that game - don't try to change RuneScape into what you want it to be. I think it is time for the tip.it administrators to look at tip.it's rules and give out some warnings (and maybe wield their ban-hammer) to the persons that condone, defend and advertise the illegal practice of using third party software in order to achieve an unfair advantage over other players who follow the rules of the game.

Grinding for me is spending lots of time on only 1 skill or activity, like buying 10k logs, fletching them into bows, buying 10k bowstrings, adding them to the bows, sell them. What I do is just what I feel like doing while online. I never spend much time on 1 skill only as skills interlock - what 1 skill produces, another consumes. All skills gain levels roughly evenly, some favorites going faster other going slower, if I need something, that is the skill I persue, unless I smell a falling star, an evil tree or hear a penguin frittin around of course :-)
-
Yes, you are not alone. I play like you, getting all resources by myself and not buying anything for my levels. (Except of course summoning shards and planks.) And yes, we are sadly a dying breed as new players often want everything too easy and too fast. In my view being self-sufficient is the way this kind of game is mean to be played; it yields more satisfaction over a reached goal; it prevents you from grinding long periods on one and the same activity; and it helps you experience all aspects of the game. With respect to your problem getting rune essence; doing slayer help a lot as many slayer monsters drop noted essence and once you can summon abysal titans you can mine over 1k essence in one go without having to bank in between :-) A game is meant to pass time while having fun. While it is more efficient in time to merch your way to levels, in my opinion it is much less fun to do. BTW: Everyone is entitled to play the way they enjoy most, so please refrain from calling DIY players clueless. (And in return we will not call all traders scamming merchants :-) )

How about making flat-packs?

I was told that it stands for "I can't tell you" :(

We puzzle lovers cannot help that you want instant gratification... Try not to rain on others' parades please...

If your raven is in the POH menagerie. you can hatch and grow another and place that in the menagerie too :-)
