I'm getting ps2 tomorow! Uh, help me out?
100,000,000 people say otherwise  Haha, I was going to make fun of the comment too but then I saw your post :XD: . Anyways... -Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 -Final Fantasy X and X-2 (Others might say no to X-2, but I personally loved it) -MGS 2 & 3 -Shadow of Destiny (If you can find it, look on Amazon) -Summoner (Hahaha, jk. Seriously, stay as far away as possible from this game (and its sequel)) - Dark Cloud (The first one) -SSX 2 (Tricky) -Monster Hunter (Only if you plan on having online) -God of War 1 & 2 -GTA 3, Vice City (San Andreas kinda depends on personal taste, I couldn't stand it, but it's a great game, you just have to like the "gangsta" type lifestyle.) There are many other good games that I probably just can't think of right now.

age limit to love?
How can you say you know how things truly are? You're speaking in ignorance, you're no one to say that he doesn't love someone. I don't care what you or your friends say, not every male on the planet has sex in mind when getting into a relationship with someone that they know and really like. Do you know why? Probably not, and that's why I'll give you the answer: They want to be happy. Two 16 year olds being in love, in some cases, is the exact same as two 27 year olds being in love. Of course, two 16 year olds being in love can be like two 27 year olds being in love too...if you get what I mean. I pity you. I hope you are haunted by his ideals, maybe they will scare some sense into you.

Your Dream Band
Of course there is, but it's a fact that most people that start posts don't usually check to see if one's already been made in the recent past. But seriously man, the last one like this was just bumped like a week ago, you didn't see that one? Anyways... Vocals: Brad Delp( ) Lead Guitar/Rhythm guitar: Ritchie Blackmore Lead Guitar/Rhythm guitar: Steve Howe Bass: Chris Squire Keyboards: Rick Wakeman Percussion: Neil Peart Vocals/Flute: Ian Anderson Nice prog/hard rock band. I think it'd be interesting, but they'd look like a bunch of artards if i saw them live...wouldn't look/sound right I don't think. But, since it's just for a fantasy band, I think this'll do ;). Oh, and what's the big deal about Syd Barret? I mean sure, maybe he wrote some good songs when he was high, but the fact is that he was so messed up by the end of his career that he couldn't even play/sing his own songs. He'd just stand there on stage, doing nothing. Wow, big idol you got there. Sorry, don't want to offend anyone, but...what's the point of putting him on the list? Just annoys me that so many people make him out to be this huge rock god, when he was just another extremely messed up person. His own fault too. If anything, that's an example of what you don't want to be.

Live Free or Die Hard

Best video game villians
Sorceress Adel in FF8 was scary, the first time I saw her I was like,"Woh, wtf?". Tall person, also pretty evil. And there's nothing wrong with Sephiroth, he's a perfectly good villain. Just because Kefka was in an older game that not as many people have played and therefore not as many know about, doesn't mean that he's any better than Sephiroth. May I say that Donkey Kong is a better villain than Kefka just because he's in an older game? Don't think so. Or maybe I'll just say that Homunculus is a better villain than Kefka AND Sephiroth, just because he's from a much less known game, plus he looks pretty damn evil in the first place. 1337ists: sadly, all over the internet.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Wow, no one seems to have payed attention to the post from the guy on the last page about the locket Harry finds while cleaning the black house, with the initials "RAB" on it somewhere I think. Well, maybe no initials, but a locket. And it took some time to describe it, so obviously important. :wall: I noticed it too when I read it again last year. So, I guess Harry will be making another trip to the Black house in this book. Also, I'm guessing that Harry will somehow live...Snape will weaken Voldemort, Voldemort will kill Snape, Harry kills Voldemort. Just my opinion though.

Anyone play Counter Strike : Source?
WTH are you talking about? LOLOLOL!OL! Yea, I play source, steam account Dragoncun, add me to friends if you wanna play a bit  . And X2 for xfire, if you get that pm me your account name. And come on guys, stop trying to be 1337ists and just give into the fact that Source isn't the horribly unsatisfying game you make it out to be. It's a very fun game, and at least comporable, if not better, than 1.6. Zomg spray's wrong. So what? Doesn't make it un-playable.

Crash Bandicoot, Anyone?
Yeah, Naughty Dog I believe was the name. Awesome company, made some truly great games, such as the original Crash's and Spyro's. Why can't games be like those now? They were so much fun...

Simpsons Movie
Some parts of you post didn't make much sense, but... I think that the movie will disappoint many. It's guaranteed, unless everyone that loves the Simpsons went into the movie with low hopes. It'll be funny, and it'll be just another long simpsons episode. There's also a possibility they're planning to cancel/end the show soon...only a slight chance though, I think.

Rock bands/What kind of rock songs do you like?
Judging by the bands you've listed before, I think you'd like them  . But, they're an odd band for sure. They've done a couple concept albums, one using a bunch of brass and more of an "ye olde timey feel", but great instrumental parts and some very original songs. If you have iTunes...oh wow, I just checked iTunes and they have one song from them #-o . Well, I guess go to Amazon and look up some of their albums...notable ones that I like are Hope (the concept album with a bunch of brass and stuff, especially in Prelude), Klaatu (California Jam, and you'd probably like Anus of Uranus), and Sir Army Suit (Everybody Took a Holiday, Perpetual Motion Machine). They have some pretty interesting songs, worth looking into if you ask me. :D

favorite underground band?
Well, this is very "underground" because they're a local band that doesn't have much other than a pure volume so: http://www.purvolume.com/heart2hart Their name may sound a little odd, to say the least, but their music is well written, and many of their songs are hilarious. Some are just plain cool and weird.

Rock bands/What kind of rock songs do you like?
Yeeeah...well, I can't wait for this too be locked for being too general. It'd be a crime if it wasn't. But, while it's still unlocked, I could still post. I'm sure many more will tell you this, and many have already told others this, but just because you're in a forum doesn't mean you can use whatever kind of grammar you want to. Oh, you also might want to start listening to a bigger variety of music if you're going to ask others what their favorite band/song is, because that list you have up there is pretty pathetic right now. And just let it be known that i'm not trying to demean your choice of music, it just seems to me that the bands you do listen to, you like the songs you've heard everywhere on the radio and haven't taken the time to listen to much more of the band (such as a whole album instead of a single). But, I may be wrong. And so... I couldn't name a favorite band, but among my top favorites right now: Yes, Deep Purple, Klaatu, Kansas, Supertramp and Rush. As far as favorite songs go, there's no way to pick, even a top 5. I listen to what I want, but I've been listening mainly to songs from the bands I listed above. Of course, nothin like going back and listening to some old favorites.

Day 1: Ten Days, Ten Threads
Yes, great idea! I'm looking forward to everyone of the topics. I mean, when I see a thread with trapical as the author, I know it'll be a good read no matter what. Good luck on the MCAT...you're a smart guy from what i've seen here, and studying for 4 months will only help you more. :P

Movies that deserve sequels
Like what? The Animatrix covers the backstory; and anything that follows the third will just suck as the war is over :-? Neo died, trinity died, everyone in zion is dead. What could they possibly do now? Unplug everyone from the matrix - very unlikely. sarcasm. :) i thought, if nothing else, the whole fact i referred to it as a 'trilogy' would tip you off. but oh well. Serenity 2 Yes please. Or just start another season of Firefly, either would be amazing. \

Good PSP Games (Theyre hard to find O.o)
I agree with the Monster Hunter Freedom comment, and could you please tell us which games you have already? Anyway: Lumines 1 and/or 2 (You say you tear through games, well, this one will keep you going for a while. If you don't like puzzle games, this one's still a fun time passer) MGS: Portable Ops And what firmware version's your PSP? Nothin better than playin Chrono Trigger on your way over to France

PSP worth it?
im sure a zen could run linux.. just nobody has bothered to try yet. I havent got a downgraded PSP, although i am considering doing it.. i really want to be able to play some of the old classic NES / SNES / Sega games on the go. Ok, this may just be my opinion, but there's really no point in not downgrading it: TO 1.5. After 1.5, everything's easy, including getting all extras that newest upates have via custom firmware. It'll be harder to upgrade, but it's worth it, trust me. I play all the homebrew/emus i want and I can still use the web browser and everything else.

PSP worth it?
Yea, anyone who tells you the PSP doesn't have a good game library doesn't know what they're talking about, mostly because its game library is anything from the N64 back (not all N64 roms are playable yet, but many of the good ones such as Super Mario 64 are), and some PS1 games are also playable. As for movies, if you get a big enough memory card and you want to go through some tough work then yes, you can put any movie you want onto it, but if you don't know how to then you'll have to stick with UMD movies. As for original PSP games (not emulators/homebrew) it has a few great games and some good games, but many horrible games. Lumines 1 & 2 are awesome, MGS:Portable Ops is awesome, Socom 2 is fun online, and I haven't played the Katamari game on the PSP but I've heard mixed reviews for it. It plays music great, and if you invest $50-75 in a good memory card, you'll be able to put all of this stuff I've mentioned above onto it. All you gotta do is wait for a downgrader to come out for the version your PSP is, if there isn't one already. Then all you gotta do is put a custom firmware version on it, and you're good for everything, including the web browser. Any questions on this stuff PM me. I'll try to answer as best I can.

Guitar Hero/Rock Band Discussion thread
Well, not too many good songs, as to be expected...hopefully there'll be some better ones once it's finished. Anyone else feel the need for some Yes or perhaps...Child In Time? :?: They just don't get what a good rock song is...at least GH2 had YYZ...Freebird....Carry On Wayward Son, jeez more Kansas please! Seriously, they need to broaden the selection. Oh, and who else thinks that putting songs from the past two games as buyable extras would be a good idea? That'd be sweet... Oh, and nice idea whoever said Hotel California, that'd be amazing.

Funniest thing ive read in a while..
Yeah, good point. You know, I find it funny that the majority of the users in this forum talk about how much they dislike Christians and Christianity as a whole, then they make stupid, meaningless topics about how funny some Christian museum in Kentucky is. If you really didn't care, you wouldn't post this kind of stuff. Stop trying to disprove Christianity, because even if you do eventually, the "truly faithful" Christians won't believe you, no matter how much proof you have. I mean, I could make as many biased views on "how mean and nasty" atheists are, just like many of you form biased views on how all Christians are, but most don't. You're the ones being ignorant, not them. Oh, and for the record, I'm not a Christian, and I don't claim to be one, nor am I an atheist/agnostic. I just find it funny that you guys can't keep your mouth shut over something you just don't get. It's called faith, and some people have it because they grew up with it. Some people don't because they chose to actually think about it. Deal with it, because that's life. And please, don't laugh at other's people's beliefs, it just makes you look bad.

The funiest movie youve seen?
Ace Ventura 1 & 2 Wayne's World 1 & 2 Monty Python and The Holy Grail I'm sure there are some more, but I haven't been watching many movies lately.
