If you don't wanna spend money on feathers, just sell every pile of fish to the nearby shop and you'll have enough money to re-buy feathers. Monkfish is fun, because it's quite a good source of money and it's normally quiet there. Lobsters are boring if you ask me, I don't think they are good to sell.

What annoys me deeply is that most RS-ers don't have any patience anymore. When they ask a question, they need an answer immediately. They start bumping topics, start being annoying etc. Also, the fact that 90% of the new topics made have been made before, the answers are "hidden" in the guides etc. Lazy some people are. Before 2004 tip.it forums was ScapeBoard. Ofcourse it was better, if the community gets bigger some rules seem to be forgotten. The best example of the decline of RS are the stupid nicknames. I am aware that I don't have the most original name, but I find it childish if people make a pure named "Pure Zezima999" or something. Instead of being respected, the top RS players are haunted. I don't say Zezima & others don't like it now and then, but sometimes they need some "rest" too. Oh well...

I do not really believe in the church, so I'm not really Christian, but I do believe there is something that is greater then us. Some kind of god. But heaven etc. sounds a little too unrealistic if you ask me.

I started in early 2002, was about 12 years old and now I'm going to university next year and retired from runescape after a suprisingly 3 years in RS2 until I got bored of it. (also 3 years in classic)

As generally I'll be one of the few who doesn't agree. :P If the idea is to get tip.it clans section more active, forget it by changing the content. You got to change the staff. Attract people from big clans. The-clan has 168 members, DI about 100 and Gladz, TRWF etc. have also over 100. If you could get about 10% of the people to here, you'd have already about 60-70 more active people. Mission impossible? No. Just CONVINCE the people that tip it is worth it. With what I see now, I'm not convinced. The staff works hard etc. bla bla but I never see something innovating. Ofcourse giving critisism is easy, if you don't give solutions. Therefore I'll give you some: - the clan board as it is now is quite Ok, although I keep not liking the CTET idea. I'd get rid of it. - the only big clan (or let us say, known clan) who posts here now and then is TF. Contact Josh1391 and ask him if he couldn't arrange it that THE posts their events here too. - about other big clans, in the Dutchs Angels subforum I seem to remember there are a few TRWF-ers, search them or contact the leaders of TRWF to post their events here too. - Contacting clans is a good start, but one thing I don't understand is that there are no risks taken. What is a hot topic in clan worlds these days? That's right, honour and no honour. Couldn't you do something with that? Organise something or make topics where people can vent their opinion and say what they want. Moderate it smoothly and people might say: hey! tip it is not as severe as I thought! - Why is RSCommunity so popular? Don't ask me, I find some of their moderators seriously stupid. Don't copy RSC, that won't work. But do something people will remember tip it! I bet I could get about 300-500 members within the month. Not with serious discussions about things, but what is the only thing people would be interested in? That's right. Money. Organise tip it competitions. Make HUGE price pots (millions of cash, atleast 25-50), give great rewards but make the job easy. For example, a signature competition. Reward? 30 million gold coins. Whose gonna pay that? Well, the top 3 of the sig competition will add the name of the so called sponsors (the people who decide to pay 30 mil) to the sig and they can use it. Make it popular! - Clans? Organise a big clan fight. Although you can only do this if big clans are interested. The winner gets an advert place on the forums to recruite until the next competition... I could think of a lot of more things to get it active here. It's not that hard, it just involves risks.

Wrong board, you're asking for advice. This isn't an achievement. Basicly this topic is funny, instead of ignoring the certain person you seem to not like, you pick on him. Very smart, he didn't even say anything offending.

[hide]The book dissapointed me. It has annoyed me since book 4 (the Goblet of Fire) that Rowling seems to have a weird interest in long and boring explanations. The first chapter I really was satisfied with started on page 488. Funny, but not unexpected. I find it dull that the two characters who die do it at the end, some more excitement would be that they would die a little sooner and so we could see consequences. About 20-30 pages of action all together, the dieing of Harry - more like the image he was dead - is fake, and instead we get a conversation with good ol' Dumbledore. I liked that part, but I expected more. The end is dissapointing, I couldn't think of another end so I'm not saying I could do it better, but still I expected more from Rowling. Overall a decent book, still one of the better ones I've read this year but I expected a little more from the final episode of H.P.[/hide]

Bringing classic back would bring more harm then good. The old players are mostly gone, and the ones that are left realise that the feeling they had years ago will never come back. I liked classic more then RS2, it has more simplicity but more complexity in PK-ing. PK-ing seemed simple, just click and 3 hit but only few could master the (non-macro) catching and were almost worshipped. *sigh*

Vmser was a good mod. I have no idea why he got demodded. Funny also you quote every question in this topic except for the question why he got demodded :-w . There are a few others who are capable to be a mod, so saying that there isn't anybody who can mod classic boards on their own is quite weird. Also, I think the 10-30 people who are still active on the classic boards aren't really happy that people (read: mods) who havn't played the game come tell them how to act. I don't mean you Phil, but it would suprise me if the 3 listed mods @classic boards (apart from das maybe) played classic.

Conformists, makes me think about a South Park episode... Anyway, I text about 80-90 messages a month. Personally I find that quite a bit because it's not really cheap if you ask me. Recent research have proven that Belgium is quite an expensive country if it comes to texting/calling. Oh well...

A Nokia. A very basic model, I can send text messages with it, call with it and recieve/send pictures. More then enough.

The swap of Liverpool with Torres and Luis Garcia + 26 million euros is a bit over the top. Luis Garcia has proven in the past he can be a very useful player for the team, and I doubt that Torres is worth him + 26 million euros. The above posters have to realise that such deals are made after a long period of scouting. Torres has been transferred to Liverpool because they believe his qualities can be useful in the Premier League.

Quitting RuneScape is really hard. I can't say I'm fully quitted, but atleast I don't feel the urge anymore to log in on the game. My problem is more fora, I'm registered on a few forums and how much I try I keep browsing them. It's hard, because RS is a great game. I would still play it but honestly if you say in real life " I play RuneScape " people say, isn't that for 12 year olds?
