Whats with the dots all over the maps like here. And HOOOOOLY MOTHER OMG ... Look at this look right to the east of Varock!!!!! Steel corporation was somekind clan or group of miners/smithers i think. And those player houses in varrock were there some time before they got removed....as well there was them in falador if i remember correct....player house area in varrock were inside fence so players couldnt go there, just look outside of fence and gate was locked. Im quite sure that map is from time before wilderness was added.

i think there was recovery update in 27th feb 2002 and it shows that date then...since all my characters shows to set those either 27th or 28th feb even though i set them early 2001...it might be that you was forced to re set them then before you was able to log in again...originally my recovery questions were custom made as finnish language but later i used english ones.

When i started i remember that i was scared to pass lumbridge bridge because i saw some scary iron armor guys other side so i thought they attacking if i go further....but eventually i went ouf from lumbridge. I spent quite time at goblin house before i reached varrock. Behind varrock castle i almost got killed by bear and bear was chasing me to ghost town (edgeville was ghost town back then so there was only ghosts and no npcs) When highwayman attacked me i thought it was other player because it looked like player so i talked to it lol. Those were moments i remember when i started february 2001

Only the developers define what bug abuse is. For example, I personally would classify mourners as bug abuse but Jagex never fixed it so probably they meant for it to be that way. :lol: If you mean when mourners had like 3 hp and gave pretty good exp at their level....it was fixed...i talked to Paul about it back then so he said he changed stats of them and added to next update. Everyone was levelling at mourners as well as me with my noob character :P I took also screenshot of some noob bragging about hitting high numbers with full inventory of knives and he demostrated that to skeletons in wildy while i was watching...though i cannot find that screenshot anymore.

here is some of rs2 beta pictures i took while playing it: looks like atleast spade is different these days? fatigue..was it removed on offical launch? dunno when flax was changed but this was temp flax place before seer village got added. lumby was this damage with silverlight, a bug or is it still present? (havent played after offical launch so i dont know)

you couldnt trade to them or follow etc. i think they had an examine info for chars in there, i think it might have been "*username here* is here as punishment or sumthing myabe ill hunt the web for a black hole image... i think it was that real black hole was in other coords and experiment was in other coords...and i think if you were stuck in fake black hole, you was able to ask friend come there to trade you disk or tele runes. i was in blackhole first, forced by moderator...then invited by moderator and then just for fun with friend...so 3 times total.

You could see and talk to other characters that were doing the black hole experience. So, only people that had bought a disk and took the ride. You could not walk anywhere. A banned person was placed in an empty area away from the black hole , so you could not see, or talk to them. (it's not a punishment if you can talk to people) there was early black holes where you was able to walk..some ppl might remember my story of it when i was put there for punishment but i got to escape from there in same day because i was able to walk by clicking minimap in black area and found falador where nearly same level player was able to kill me with bow and i got out to lumby.

now its bad time to sell...if you plan selling, do it only if its urgent...otherwise i would wait...i was planning to sell easter eggs but atm i could get 8mill only so i hold them since its not urgent. Its buyers market atm...

In my opinion..rarest to least rare: Half Wine Cracker Disk of Returning Pumpkin Party Hats Easter Eggs Masks Santas You may think why pumpkin is rarer than party hat but ppl usually selling/buying cheaper rares so they are often seen traded...but it doesnt mean they are much more common...they just are much more merchanted. Im sure there is more party hats than pumpkins...if old pumpkin were item you could equip like latest halloween item, price would be totally different...could be even above party hat. There might be even more crackers what ppl think but they are not often seen because they are most expensive rares so ppl keep them saved and other point is that there is no correct market price for cracker so ppl dont want sell them too cheap...i would not even try to sell cracker or party hat so its easier to sell easter eggs or santas for quick cash...and their price doesnt change much compared to party hats.

pumpkin as being first holiday drop...there was not so many dropped because i was playing active then but i didnt spot any pumpkins anywhere...i didnt even know they were dropped so there is much less them dropped than easter eggs but yet prices are same today. next there was christmas crackers...i was online that day but only way i knew they was dropped when i heard about other players....during that day i picked up only one. Masks i was seriously hunting all day they was dropped and also santas...santas dropped overall much more than masks...i only was waiting 2-3 drop times to get santas so i picked up easily around 40 santas...masks i was waiting much longer and even when they dropped sometimes i couldnt find any so it took much longer to get 20+ masks during that day. imo pumpkins and disks are much rarer from cheaper rares than anything else because there is not many of them exist anymore but prices are low. masks were first drops when most ppl realised that they were going to raise value alot when saving them so there was alot of ppl to get them for merchanting purposes...because party hats were already started to be collectible items so ppl knew that masks will be also. in october 2002 when masks were dropped, most expensive party hat was around 500k because i have picture of tradescreen from end of october when i received purple hat which was bought for 500k.

Its annoying to walk party hat on..especially with blue...getting so much attention. Though i noticed that i get attention even if i wear santa hat...

So all those "godly" rs merchants does ingame merchanting only for purpose of getting real cash? shame that such good players went to "dark side" and forgot its only game.

nice move from merchants to spread rumors to lower prices temporary...but why not pick christmas crackers instead of blue hats? real duping in 2002 made permament damage to purple hats..though im quite sure that they were not duped that much that they should be cheapest hats still...if i remember right, christmas crackers were duped much more than purple hats but yet, cracker prices didnt stay so low...in first duping they pulled alot of crackers so every hat color amount in game was increasing...i was present back then to see that in varrock but hat prices back them were only few mills each so they might dropped mill or couple temporary while some like red hats raised prices. Though i didnt care how prices went back then and i dont care now either because i havent invested anything for my rares so they are just for remind me from past events which i were able to join. But it might be hard for those who invested all their gameplaying time just to get one item.
