This is taken in first few days when character M_Oldfield has born: I think it was taken in end of feb or very early of march 2001. There is small area from background where was runescape site opened so there is showing my character name, how long i been online and how long i been online total (my character age). Runescape site showed all online ppl names and their online times when there was 1 server only....but that feature got removed in march 2001 i think. God it took long to get money for best sword, addy long :P

i liked following oldschool names: God, Alchemon, Danethor, Lightning, Erixson, Azot, Ghettomasta, Polomeros, Messiah...

i just found out that i still have picture where that kite i got from Aleshea, ended..i was still using addy kite in wildy which i was able to smith myself. (notice old arrows) First rune square i bought from Tiwi for 800k...after i bought, he got banned from duping i think and Andrew said that all duped squares gets removed but mine didnt get so i guess it was not duped.

Hmmm... I was the priest at the Shera/Gormis wedding... So here I am looking for me in those pics while im not even in there... wasnt gormis a high lvl smith too? making rune kites if im correct. He was married rl :P and had two or three kids. And they all played rs :P Can't remember his wife's rs name. My good rl friend lummox had access to gormis's wifes account (something alexandra or something, cant remember) and he sold me some rune kites from that acc :P (there was over 10,000 steel plates at that time which was huge amount of money if alched. Oh, i miss those days. his wife was Aleshea...i got my first rune kite from her.

devious mud was never public...maybe it was tested online by small selected group but thats all... I think only Paul,Andrew,Rab or Lightning can confirm how it was.

i have personally picked up every holiday rares from 2001 and 2002..first rare item, pumpkin, i missed drops but game moderator (there was only one mod back then) dropped one under me...so thanks to Rab for my first holiday drop :P I think most holiday items ever dropped were santas that was also tradable...so im wondering why masks are so cheap compared to santas since masks were much less dropped and also they are older...i was active in both dropping days but i only got 20 or so masks total and i got 40 or so santas so santas were much more dropped.

only old player who i recognize from this thread...i as well started late feb 01 but i quit early 03. some players doesnt know how hard some trade skills were back then when there was no bank for items...and very limited places to gather material or exp...but that doesnt mean game is better now, its just easier ;) M Oldfield

Had all kinds of guys saying they were lvl 90+, then we would walk to wildy, and hed be lvl 60 ^^ good times, lol when ppl level didnt show outside wildy, some ppl knew ladder trick to see others levels so i heard often someone saying "what you will give if i guess your level?" :P

im noob about things what been going on during rs2 era..once i log in game i dont even recognize where im standing... but seems that game got bigger and problems got bigger too...i quit when there was basically only paul and few other jagex mods around. After reading stuff here im wondering what force keep you guys playing with those kids? I decided to help few newbies week or so ago by giving them food and bars...luckily i didnt get reported from such action lol since i dont have any idea what is this game these days i stop makign useless posts :P M_Oldfield

Cant be legends if they cheat i dont think Best player i have ever seen is L6vi Im not banned i just dont play anymore but i logging on every now and then...you can check hiscores i think tiwi got unbanned but dunno about hiana...i knew them both back then...i bought my first rune square from tiwi, for 800k ;) names what hohto mentioned twy was my smithing competitor so basically me and twy was fighting from 2nd position in smithing hiscore but twy quit before me. musashi came later...he was mining addy ore for me once before he started to be high smither...then i quit smithing and krest and gormis started race to 99. im going to log in halloween to check if there is event items so see you in game. i might not be anymore in players memory or such legend but im going to log in now for one hour in rs...i stopped active playing late 2002 but my character is still exist. If anyone remember name M Oldfield and is seeing this now, im able to talk in game in 15min... though im quite sure i will see either Lady Lynda or zcav when i log in..they seems to be always there when i log in for short moment few times in year. edit: was helping some noobs out and dropped some stuff and food in lumby....ill be back when there is next holiday event.

I remember being in audience in wilderness when buffyslayer and who da best had set deathmatch...i dont remember who all were watching but alchemon i remember...buffy died with honor and didnt save a thing...anyone got pic from that? :P Also i was watching when russ an killed zonghui...i was training at hobs at that moment when i saw zong passing me and there was few ppl after him (dunno did they all fight him but at least they was following russ an)...anyone has that pic still? i remember seeing screenie and possibly i was in that screenie too. also here mentioned danethor...when i saw him first time and first time was in wildy i didnt know who he was...looked scary level 100 with skull so i was thinking now im going to die...but luckily he didnt attack :P pics pics i forgot to take :P

i tried one of my pk noob i used around may 2001 before wildy and never used after that...it was still exist but stats were reseted and it was in tutorial island

remember when ghost town had ghosts and ruins (edgeville now) remember when messiahs pking noobs in varrock remember when addy battleaxes was added and every ppl trrying to buy them from npc. remember when mules and drop trading was allowed. remember when varrock had only one bank and you could only deposit coins. remember when pie was best food and highest level crafters levelling up making pie dishes. remember when there was gem rock to mine in dwarven mines remember when silver ore looked exactly same as uncut diamond remember when it was funny to drop skulls in lumby and watch how someone picked it up and skeleton appeared to kill noobs around.

i knew over half from those ppl listed in that picture...2 of those killed me in winderness...i think i died about 4 times total in wildy on my rs career even when i was basically living in wildy from 75 to 100 combat...now i would die in no matter of seconds if i just step in.

I started february 2001 and played to end of 2002 using character M Oldfield...then i played other character few months more and havent played after that...tried RS2 beta but never played after it was offically released.

werent LKJ first 99 hp? or maybe i remember wrong...
