for me it doesnt matter much if it will be shut down or not. recently i tried some private rsc server what actually worked quite like offical and probably all skills worked...only played short period but there was quite many ppl to fill world that i didnt feel like playing alone. they obviously getting better and can soon replace offical one.

hmm i might also check soon if i still have one acc available in rsc...it was my only acc that was able to login somewhere 2006 and havent logged since then

visiting here again... i stopped play rs when rs2 was added...i played rsc since feb 01 and i know it quite well. also these screenies are still exist that was added early 2002 in net http://ladymedusamoldfield.50megs.com/ rsc was one and only runescape until bots ruined it. M Oldfield

they could make private server with old pk system...i think it would be possible if there were client files available from that age...that would be real oldschool runescape :P

it was cool to pk everywhere...i miss disturbing varrock miners and shoppers in town...it was more tactical because of different obstacles and stuff...noob pking was good when pking was everywhere and not just in level 1-5 wildy like after wilderness. when wildy was added, it killed my fun and i started to focus on skills ;)

I just popped up and tried RS...i was a bit surprised since i didnt know about new graphics at all until i got into login screen...when they changed it? I was also playing long time ago when there was only 1 server...i dunno how many will remember me anymore. M_Oldfield

atleast i was first of something...i was first to escape from real black hole april/may 2001 :P i was also first to have dragon ammy in RS2 which was crafted by lil might from the stone i looted...that was in RS2 early beta before crystal key chest were added. 2nd i was in some things but someone was usually always first :P

My first ever holiday rare item i got from original Moderator in level 40+ wildy when i was at greater demons...i didnt know about halloween drops so i missed that day so i told there that i didnt get any pumpkin so 1min later i had pumpkin appered itself in my inventory when i guessed that mod put it there because he was standing there also...still have that pumpkin in bank. later on i was also giving some of my personally picked up masks and santas away free little after drop days...but in these days i wouldnt do the same :P

Autokill lvl 100 combat...i always liked that name he was one of highest level archers in very early of rs...if i remember he was also good pker before wildy. Its ironic that he didnt auto at all :P

I decided to do some RSC overview now so im recording videos from RSC that introducing all skills, all places, all quests walkthroughs...so if they close it, i have most parts recorded so i can watch when im old :P

I consider myself as RSC veteran since i went through RSC era until it was ruined by bots but im total RS2 noob because i havent played it except short beta period before public launch. Today im going to try some skills in rsc again so i can refresh my memory.

Disks and half jug of wine are definately rarest...there was no warning any kind when they made them unable to get anymore...not many saved them for future use since both were pretty easy to get always before they removed them. I could bet that there is more crackers left...even my noob account have...but most of them are on old accounts that havent played for years like in my cases.

i was killing black knights first time at varrock north with buffyslayer but i didnt know who she was but i was was jealous because she had addy long lol BKs were very limited and she gave me turns to kill them also...that kind kindness you dont see anymore in runescape :P

Pumpkins, easters, crackers and phats were dropped in time that not many players were playing and also they didnt see into future that they actually start raising value so they didnt bother to collect them because of that... And another reason was very limited bank space and since those late 2001,early 2002 dropped items were almost worthless then, many ppl dropped them out from bank. masks were basically first item that ppl realised that saving them will be good thing for future because party hats were raising some value by time when masks were dropped. Pumpkin were first holiday item and one of most rarest but cheap because its food item...cheap items are often seen in circulation because they are easy cash for temporary cash need so ppl rather sell cheaper ones than their most expensive ones. Everyone who need some cash quickly, they would always start selling chepest things...thats why there is alot santas,masks,pumpkins,eggs for sale. There might be more crackers than ppl think but since they are one of most expensive, they arent seen for sale often...for me it would be last item i sell from my bank.

You need something called "screen video recorder" there is various programs that does it...for editing your recorded videos you can use Virtualdub program. Then you can upload your avi video on youtube when you have registered youtube account. If you want transfer videos from your cellphone to your computer...i assume your cellphone uses mini sd or something memory card so if your pc got card reader you can use that then....other easy way is using bluetooth transfer between pc and cellphone....also i think newer phones works also in wlan network but i really dont have experience for wlan and newer phones so i used only bluetooth dongle and card reader to transfer stuff.

megaupload is good if you want upload rar packages...registered users gets 50gb space and 500mb max filesize...premium users get better features. for mp3s that you can either listen or download i used 4shared.com my example page: http://oldfieldsamples1.4shared.com/ It only give 1gb space per free account but you can get nice subdomain name. for pure listening purposes i tried boomp3.com service...it works same way as youtube for videos so you can listen them online and get linkcode to your own site...but there is no download option for file so you can listen only.
