  1. I give it 2 more years at the current rate. I think some people are going to get bored with it. Seriously, they spend too much time trying to get the lower level's attention and babysitting us.
  2. Mountain Dew. I like to eat snicker ice cream bars too, but I am actually trying to drop back down to my strongman weight of 231.

Well, it used to be herblore. It was something that wasn't as bad of a grind as runecrafting (if you collected all of the herbs and such), but since there are no unidentified herbs and with grand exchange herblore is not worth it. I would guess that my next favorite is range.
  4. How do you rape someone by punching them in the face?
  5. I was at the flesh crawlers earlier, and it was more like I was waltzing than training strength. It was very irritating.
  6. There is no such thing as a good random. Randoms are just nothing more than an inconvenience.
  7. Have you noticed it in a few of the threads lately?
  8. I have seen it used often in this forum. What does it mean?
  9. It is also much like player owned houses. I have heard rumors of summoning since I started playing in 2004. Now that it is finally coming, it is getting a good amount of proper propaganda. Do I think it was made to get people to forget about the recent updates? No, but I think that may have something to do with its timing.
  10. I personally like the ease to buy and sell. No more shouting for items.
  11. Farming is definitely. I believe it is the most expensive skill of all. Do you know why? Because it drains the very essence of your soul to train.
  12. I think that the most used phrase or word in runescape is....."Hello, how are you today? I am fine thanks. Oh, is that your rock that you are mining? Have a good day I will find a different location so I do not bother you." or "Are you hunting those chinchompas? I hope you have a great day here. Myself, I will find another field to hunt so I don't interrupt your progress."
  13. It depends on how you value your in-game money. If you cherish it, then perhaps you should train something that would allow you to make money somewhat back. Training magic, crafting, herblore, slayer (I know you can't just buy), or something besides cooking or firemaking. If you don't care much for your cash and just want a 99 then by all means burn some wood.
  14. What is the point of this section of the board? I believe it is to not only complain, but to speak how you feel towards a certain subject. Most of the threads like the one you speak get locked. A good majority of the threads in this section have intelligent views expressed. This and the Debate club are my favorite sections.
  15. But Jagex also claims they have sophisticated means to detect macroing. I don't think that randoms are as needed with the supposed destruction of bots and RWT. I realize that they will probably not get rid of the randoms, but maybe they could revamp the rewards toward your level. Seriously, getting the sandwich lady in the middle of training combat can be the death of you.
  16. I have been playing for over 3 years and never had a dragon drop or barrows drop. I was fortunate enough to get ranger boots 2 plus years ago and sold them for over 3 mil, but that is by far my best treasure.
  17. Well, I hope that is f2p. I don't mind them having part of the new skill. I think that it will be in Taverly, and that they may open that part up to f2p. They can still do it and not include Burthorpe or Catherby.
  18. Ranting can be so much more than letting your frustrations out. If read by Jagex people, it can used as a tool to improve the game. Think about it in terms of leadership. Why would you want to surround yourself with a bunch of people that are going to always agree with you? To person or even team of people is going to be perfect. You want to have several different angles. I think I may have been in my first reaction to the original poster. I apologize for that. Ranting for the sake of ranting is not constructive, but complaining about a problem and offering suggestions can totally improve the situation.
  19. Three new quests, updates to Hunter that involves range and farming, and Summoning. This could be a good month. I just hope that this month lives up to it. For those of us that are not too concerned with merchanting or player-killing this could be a great month. For those that are, perhaps you should venture into other aspects of the game. I just hope that the farming-hunting connection will give me an alternative to actual farming. I can't stand that skill.
  20. Did you ever think that maybe the rants are doing something about it? Jagex surely has people that read this stuff. I know that there are a few intelligent, thoughtful rants that actually offer some suggestions on how to fix this. You have to realize that as customers, we have a few choices 1. Quit 2. Continue playing regardless 3. Continue playing but also express one's displeasure about the direction the game is heading. Just like you are ranting about ranting. How hypocritical is that?
  21. I have been playing off and on for over 3 years, and I have never once seen a j mod. I have seen several p mods.
  22. I am not in a clan, and I don't have many rs friends. I have yet to do bounty hunter because of the overwhelming complaints of clans jumping single players. Bounty hunter so severely restricts the single player that it does not make it worth it. Even though I am not nearly as opposed to these new updates, I can still see why people are upset about losing the wilderness. Revenants are over powered and semi-relentless. I would love to see the wilderness put back the way it was. Unfortunately, Bounty Hunter is not a good alternative to the old wilderness.
  23. Well, I think you answered your own question. You said should I WASTE 5m. If you think it is a waste, then don't do it and train PC. I personally like PC still, but I also don't mind ectoing my way to a few extra prayer levels. But since you put it that way, then I say PC. How long it would take depends on how quickly you gain points, and whether you use it at the 100 point bonus level. It would probably take awhile to get there, but if you enjoy PC then it would be worth it.
  24. 1) This is the rants forum, what he's posting is what people do here 2) If you don't have something constructive to contribute, don't post. 3) Cheese pwns, k? I remember getting the Sandwich Lady a bit after she was added as a random (some 2 years ago) whilst I was fighting Elvarg dor Dragon Slayer. You can imagine the fright I had, being a lvl 50 in addy armour, struggling not to get killed by the dragon, and at the same time trying to answer the Sandwich Lady before she teleports me away. It seems to me that the Sandwich Lady is the leader of Annoying Random Events United (AREU). I just want to say that if you are looking for an officer to help lead the AREU, then let me know. Randoms have been a thorn in my side since I was a young level 3.
