  1. I actually think that higher levels are more the masters. They have had more time to nurture their negative attitude. That term just creates a sense of negativity. I think sometimes people forget this is just a game. When we log of we are who we are. I am not (insert word here) in real life, and I am not one in runescape. If anything that term, is nothing but a way for the children of today to show how spoiled and blind they are to the real world. Either that or it is used by people who want to show power and prestige with pixels. It doesn't matter I won't use the word. I just won't let myself fall to the negativity.

Okay....I am not sure where to start. Obviously the guy has issues, but I don't think I would have let it get this far. I would have just added him to ignore and found a different clan chat. I don't think that you helped the issue any by "spying" on him. But if he truly did send you that message in another forum, then his issues far exceed is power lust in the game.
  3. I think that I may make hunter as my first 99, but I train differently than no lifers. I will level it up a few levels, then do something else. I may do a quest or fish just something to change the pace. Grinding out levels is not my definition of fun. I play the game for fun. Sometimes it is too easy to set goals and forget that this is really just a game.
  4. Where did you go to train strength? I would go somewhere with fast experience. Ankous or dagganoths are a good option. I would also consider lesser demons. With your other stats they should be a breeze. I haven't been down there in several months, but the last time that I was it wasn't very crowded. Oh, and before someone else says it. You could always train slayer in conjunction with defense.
  5. It has been so long ago, but I believe it was in the 50s. I tend to train enough to not make it too big of a risk.
  6. I have never used that term. I think perhaps novice is a better less degrading reference. I try to help these people when I can. Someone said that if they have a lower level then they have spent less time on it than you. That isn't necessarily true. Some of these people may be skillers. They may also have a runescape hobby like collecting...cabbage.
  7. Yes it's qite amazing, 3 Develpment Diaries and we have almost NO idea what this skill will be like. :-k Yeah, everyone mocked them because we thought the subtle clue was let out that it was summoning but they've really kept their cards close to their chests. Letting hints seep out slowly, but never giving us a definite. I think it is awesome to not know and speculate. I just hope all the anticipation doesn't fizzle once the skill is released. It is the only reason that I am back on runescape.
  8. How do you think I feel? I am a grand old man around here, and I have a low post count. I think it is because I pick and choose my comments. I have been more active now because of down time at work.
  9. Yes, it stinks that you lost those items, but it isn't the end of the world. When I take my breaks from the game 2-3 months, usually I give away a bunch of my bank to make it more challenging when I start back up. 1 million doesn't take that long to make back up. You can collect flax or wc or fletch and alch (not sure if that makes much anymore). You can mine. GE makes getting rid of raw materials much easier (albeit not quite as profitable)
  10. Buy the materials on the ge and then make cannonballs. You get okay experience and you make a small profit.
  11. I for one think that the censor does need a little tweaking, not to be able to cus but to be able to get one's point across. Sometimes you are using real words but the get censored. It gets to be annoying. I however think that the runescape community finds enough ways to be immature to give them full range of words.
  12. I generally play for a few months and then take a break. Being a professional adult with two kids, I don't have them time or the desire to no life on this game. I play when the kids are going to bed, and I have down time usually in the winter. Once the weather gets better, I will probably stop playing once again. I take several breaks. Most of my levels were gained while in college when I worked nights at a hotel.
  13. A riding skill. I would like the introduction of riding different mounts. We could start with mules and go to dragons. I think that would be pretty awesome.
  14. Although it would not bother me at all to have a member skill drop to free to play, I just don't see jagex doing it. I didn't think they were going to do anymore f2p updates, but then again they really have been doing alot for the freebies.
  15. Yes, I get bothered by the chat that happens alot while lobster fishing. But I also am super paranoid about being accused of macroing, so I keep my public on and will even join in the conversation once in awhile.
  16. As much as I wish they would, I do not think that they are going to change the specials.
  17. everybody says slayer, but I look for a heavy monster population with few people there. I have camped at both chaos druids and banshees. Of course this was when herblore was more profitable, but I still gained money and didn't have to compete with kills.
  18. I would go to Port Phasmatys if you have done Ghosts Ahoy. If you haven't then maybe falador. It isn't too far from a bank. I would still suggest to do ghost ahoy.
  19. Do you know why I use tip it? Because it is the one that I found first. I have been coming to this site for nearly 3 years when I first looked for help on hero's quest. People are creatures of habit I guess.
  20. I don't anything in runescape is going to be that respectable. Those with 99s in a skill just spent a lot of time clicking for that skill. Those with high quest points just spent a lot of time clicking. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the clicking and the achievements, so to speak, I just don't think it is that big of a deal.
  21. This is very interesting to me. Rares have been a curious thing since I began this game. It makes me think of art in real life. I for one don't care much about having a rare. I would rather spend my money on another skill, but for those who buy rares it is usually either for a status symbol or for merchanting. Merchanting comes at a risk. The symbol of a rare is something often built up too high. Is it really such a great accomplishment to get one? Then again is it really such a great accomplishment for anything that is done in this game? Philosophy is not my strong suit.
  22. Forgiveness is sometimes a noble thing. Remember this is a game. If you can find forgivenesss, over this hopefully in rolls into your real life. I commend you for forgiving her, but be more careful next time.
  23. How long have you been playing this game? You have to remember that no matter how long you play with someone that you still don't really know this person. You should look at it like some people look at loaning money to family. Only loan what you can stand to lose.
  24. Obviously, I am not paying close enough attention to what posts I am posting on. I will at least do the quest as soon as I can.
  25. Thanks for idea. :P :) Yes, that is actualy an awesome idea.
