  1. The beauty of runescape is that it can be what you want it to be. Well, for the most part. You can no longer be a petty mugger in the wilderness. You can be a miner, tanner, jeweller, thief, ranger, warrior, or wizard. You can be a rogue adventurer just killing what drops you want. You can be a farmer. You can be combinations of everything. You can be a champion dueller. I can go on if you like.
  2. I first logged in to Runescape in August of 2004, and I have yet to use the word in the game. I try to help and benefit the community not bring it down.
  3. This I think also applies to the making of the snowmen. It is very aggravating to build a snowman all the way just to have someone else put a hat on before you. I know slightly off topic but the same all the same. 8-)
  4. Good luck. I will attempt after summoning skill is introduced.
  5. A little more information would be nice, but I will take a crack at it anyways. I would suggest sitting at chaos druids or Security Stronghold and gather herbs. I would stick with harralander and above. I usually do chaos druids and keep a fally tele. I bank when full and then go back. Once I get a reasonable amount of herbs, I will go to shilo and purchase vials. I collect the seconds (chocolate bars at rfd bank, snapegrass & limpwurt by hobgoblins, eye of newts in port sarim) then make the potions in fally. I now take the potions and put them for sale at ge. I also will buy up alot of ranaar and then produce prayer pots. I will lose some in the transaction, then I will train at chaos druids until I have enough to buy 200 or so ranarr. It doesn't take long.
  6. Well, I am at work right now. I spend all day in front of a computer.
  7. I am just going to concentrate on my pathetic hunter level. I just hope that it is as quick as people say it can be. I suppose I should read up on some of those quick hunter guides.
  8. "But all the F2P come here! I don't like them!" 8-) Does every thread have to have this antiF2P vibe on it? Just because someone is f2p does not make them stupid or worthless. Some f2p players are actually quite smart and dare I say...resourceful.

    revenants

This is a good point. I also have neglected ghost robes. Now I am not sure it is worth the risk. I also guess that the ape atoll is the only place for me to train agility now. :x
  10. Yes, especially as pointed out earlier with zezima. Zezima32323485494433 is not an original name, nor is it truly a pilgrimage to Zezima
  11. I know this is going to seem like spam, but this thread is giving me a headache.
  12. This was actually my least favorite. Before I could buy unids for 1k and make it back plus some with finished potions. After the update, even though ranaars were more abundant they became harder to get for cheap. Oh well, it was still a cool update.
  13. Maybe they would give us lances to go with our mounts. Then we could have jousting tournaments and teams of cavaliers. It may be more feasible than you think.
  14. I truly hope that they have taken measures to prevent the increase in lag.
  15. Energy potions ftw. Collect all the harralanders you can then buy chocolate bars from rfd bank. Easy and quick (for herblore anyway)
  16. I can answer that for him/her. He/she allowed their friend to play, and the friend said a bunch of foul language. No wait, he/she accidentally lured someone and stole all of their stuff. They were sitting their minding their own business when someone with their exact same name advertised a website. It doesn't matter how the blackmarks appeared it definitely wasn't their fault.

    revenants

All of this talk of revenants make me pray for the old wilderness. This is coming from someone who hated to be pjed at the green dragons, but at least I knew where I stood. I even had a shot at survival, but these guys just seem too ruthless and common. Back a few weeks ago, you could go to a semi-empty world and do level 3 clues without too much worry. Now I just may drop clues that take me to that dark place. I believe it is going to leave the wilderness more deserted than ever.
  18. Do you farm much? I would get rid of alot of those seeds. Plant them or just drop them.
  19. I hope you can, but only after you do the quest. Also, at the same rate as prayer.
  20. Although, I am sure that wasn't their intention it does stink that people can do that. It reminds me of people who go around shutting doors on others. It never fails that someone is going to find some way to specifically make another persons life difficult. Unfortunately in games like these, it is their right. It irritates me to see someone set up a cannon where I am training, but it is their right. I have some advice to you...Log out and use the world select button. You can leave too you know.
  21. I have been here for over 2 years and haven't even broke 50 yet. But I suppose it is better to sit and listen than regret what you said.
  22. You do know that no one is making you stay at level 3 right? It is your choice not to participate in the other aspects of the game.
  23. That was the best point of this whole thread. They chose not to train the other parts of the combat triangle. I chose to be more balanced. It makes neither one of us wrong or right. That is the beauty of a MMORPG. However, the purpose of a pure (if I understand) is to create a ubercharacter with a low level. This was so they could stake/pk and have an advantage over the other lower leveled people. Jagex has seemingly taken this aspect of the game away. This could easily be taken as an attack against pures. I have some simple advice for pures. It isn't so bad to train everything in the game or not. Just play what is fun. If you can't be entertained by the 20+ skills available or the 100+ quests, or clan wars/castle wars, or dueling tournament, monster hunting, then maybe the game really isn't for you. I choose to do the parts of the game that entertains me. Maybe you should look for another part to entertain you. Or you could read a good book.
