Regicide
1. will add boxed links to both the fancy airbrushed map and distinguish it from the simplified map which is slightly more current. 2. will add note about familiars can't go down the well of voyage from Underground pass to arandar Thanks for submitting the HD pic. However, it's 700+Kb and we try to keep our quest guides down to a manageable filesize. It is most appreciated, though.

Never Underestimate the value of the cent
Folks, even back in the 1970's, your BANK would not accept volumes of pennies from a business unless it was rolled. If you didn't roll it, you had to PAY the bank a FEE for them to count it (or possibly use a counting machine.) And this was even if you had an ACCOUNT there! Just like ... oh wait ... just like the counting machines that are now available in some grocery stores!! :o The purpose of the law about "legal tender" has to do with the fact that if people don't "believe" in our paper money and coinage, the system will fall apart. And the reason it requires belief is because the money isn't backed by gold, nor by silver, but by "the full faith and credit" of the US Government, lol. This does NOT obligate businesses to take amounts they do not wish to take. Decades ago your local convenience store would not accept anything over $20 because kept no more than that in change in the register to try to discourage robberies. (Turned out that by the early 1980's there were idiots willing to kill just for that $17 in change, but who knew?) Recognising money as legal tender does not obligate you to take it. It's good money, we just ain't takin' it. Now the clerk took an attitude right off, but from the sound of it I'm guessing that this guy had been there before. I know of NO police station that would send out an officer or officers in order to settle something like this. No matter how quiet the town is, lol. And they definitely are not within their scope of business to "rule" on a point of law they are unfamiliar with. It's one thing to cite someone for drunk and disorderly under statute xx.y.aa - but citing federal law is something else. After seeing the number of guys there, and the video camera, I'm betting the cops wanted to tell them to just get a life instead of pulling pranks like this, but were afraid of what might be done with the tape. Ultimately, the woman didn't take the money because he was RIGHT - she took it because her boss decided it would be bad PR and could affect their contract with the city to tow cars. Since the video tape shows the address, their business will probably be negatively impacted anyway. I also note that although they didn't show her face, these people taped her voice without her permission, which I'm pretty sure is a violation of federal law. Oh, the irony!!

Would RuneTips like to host my Rune Ore Respawn Timer?
several crewbies have read post, just not the ones who need to see it, heh. We will try to get someone to look at it, but keep in mind that it is summertime so people are on vacation.

The, Fremmenik Isles
Made most changes from Necromagus and credited, thanks. Sorry xdysnomiax, I need confirmation from another user before I can add yours. It is very interesting though, I hope someone else can help.

Aquanite Droplist
Just a little post from the perspective of the crew. When people who are part of the Tip.It community post drop lists showing what they have gotten for each of their OWN kills, they are staking their TIF reputation on the honesty and accuracy of their lists. Because we know them from their many helpful posts in the past, we know their lists are good and we are happy to credit their drop information on the Tip.It website. Sir Hemen's list is an ideal example of a drop list, he has always been helpful in providing info for the website. As long as you don't post what your "friend" got, your list of your own personal drops will be helpful to us. Thanks to everyone who has posted so far! As several people have stated, RS wiki can be edited anonymously by anyone. Tip.It doesn't rely on drop lists from other sites, because people will sometimes submit joke information just to see if they fall for it. And sometimes they do. If someone just registered and comes in saying in their very first post that there's a d chain drop? No, we aren't going to put much faith in that, lol. A big advantage of forum posts (vs. website submissions) is that other users will quickly cry shenanigans if info is false. And any RS monster can drop a d spear. Eventually. :P

The Ultimate Circus Points Guide
I realise your guide was not meant to address xp values, but after you get the outfits the xp earned weekly is actually a huge asset. So I wanted to go ahead and share this data for possible inclusion. Note that the xp is DIRECTLY related to your skill level (every 10 levels), and when you do tricks above your level, you only earn the xp for tricks about 4 levels below your level:

Mining sites arranged by ore
Well, I was only thinking in terms of the basic metals. After a crewbie pointed out limestone, sandstone, granite, elemental and other rocks ... I realised this probably wasn't as practical as it seemed at first. Sorry. :(

Mobilising Armies Guide Corrections
Added a section on spoils to the guide. Crew analysts believe the spoils are approximately worth 1gp for 1 reward credit. Fyi.

barbarian outpost agility couse (for usa)
We checked the course, and it seems that Jagex removed a wall when none of us were looking (from the USA and all other servers). So we are looking at fixing up that part of the guide and also the calcs/planners. Thanks for pointing out what we (and the other fansites, lol) missed!

Rupert's helm?
you are right, some distinction should be made. I've edited them both to relate better to the quest guide. I'd assume that Rupert's helm cannot be alched since it's a quest item - don't suppose you are still in the quest lol. Thanks for spotting this Sportsguy, good eye as usual. :

Cooking gauntlets, monkfish, and you.
Here's the cooking guide section about burning and gauntlets, which I'm sure you've already consulted: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?p ... e.htm#burn "An intensive study has shown that cooking gauntlets affect monkfish cooking success, but only slightly. At cooking levels over 80, the improvement rate averaged a mere 2.5%. Stop burning levels are not available at this time. Jagex has not announced any affect of gauntlets on cooking monkfish." During the "intensive study" the fellow cooked thousands of fish to see if the gauntlets helped or not. Finding the last "no burn" level is hard because ... you have to keep going to see if an odd one turns up in the next 1k that you cook, lol. By that time most people have lost track. However, I support your efforts, if the Items Database manager agrees.

Contact! Guide, add seer's headband to tips
On the one hand, I entirely agree with you both. On the other hand, how many people have completed a section of the Seers' diary? Each level of headband gives more light, from dim (1) to bright (3). The mining helmet would also be an excellent source (the first day there was talk that it went out, but not since). But ... how many people have 65 firemaking to use it? It's probably appropriate to add to the Contact! guide since that's a high level player quest, and all other lamps can go out, but ... adding it to EVERY guide on the site would be a LOT of places, where a LOT of low level players wouldn't be able to use them anyway. I recommend to you the lanterns section of the Firemaking guide, which does now contain the seer's headbands (most likely at SportsGuy's suggestion, lol): http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?p ... m#Lanterns I think it illustrates why we don't list every type of light source. We probably ought to be linking to this guide section when we mention "light source". Argh. I just made work for myself. #-o :XD: /me walks away grumbling about good ideas that make work

Mining sites arranged by ore
Hmm. This actually COULD be done. 9-10 columns is a lot to cram on a page, but not impossible. However, we are rather backed up in projects. It's a perpetual state to be honest: keeping up with new releases PLUS maintaining older info that needs updating. Everyone on crew knows how much I LOVE coding tables (that's sarcasm, by the way). Is there anyone out there crazy enough to offer to code this? If so, please PM me and I can give you specifics. It's painstaking and repetitive, not for the weak of heart.

Mobilising Armies Guide Corrections
I think (I am completely uncertain) that they do not seem to be a moneymaker, because (a) you have to pay 10,000 reward credits for the level 1, and (B) they have lousy stuff in them (mine had things like tin ore -.- ) They might get better at higher levels, I don't know. We have some screenies of spoils, and a crewbie analysing them to see if there is any rhyme or reason to them. If anyone would like to share screenies of their spoils here, feel free. (JPG is fine)

awesome, GaVaTi, thank you! (I never think of that heh.)- Distractions and diversions- shooting star map
Have spoken to our mapper and he really likes the idea. ilovetopk, thanks for your pm and I'll pm you back to discuss it more. Not sure how soon the crew can do this, as we have some big map projects going - we may work something out. - 08-July-2009 Mobilising Armies + patch notes
