  1. This has been proven in the past. Hopefully someone can get to this change soon.
  2. The RS News and Community News links on the front page are unfortunately not controlled by the Crew. They are run by the server, and so when things are a little twitchy on the server, there's nothing we can do but wait for it to be straightened out. And then the News straightens itself out. Thanks for letting us know, and sorry for the inconvenience.
  3. We have taken a great deal of data on circus xp, and the xp seems to be related to the specific manoeuvre you select, and your level in that skill. Costumes and emotes do not seem to affect xp. The costumes and emotes are likely to affect the POINTS you get, which of course affect what costume reward you may receive. Please study carefully the Tips and Tricks section of our guide to maximize your points to get the best costumes. Doing emotes in between each activity, wearing costumes, and possibly even using skill boosters may help. At your level I would suggest starting at level 10, emote, level 20, emote, and on up. You get no xp for repeating a level that you have already done successfully, and you can get good xp if you get "lucky" and manage to do a higher one, so go ahead and try for several above your level as well. In ongoing investigations, TIF user Maddie has determined that Edgeville audiences like the "Trick" emote. Without trying two different costumes, I'm not sure what you are basing your suggestion on. Please do post again, researching the circus is a very long-term task so waiting weeks for more data is not unusual.
  4. updated thanks very much!
  5. The pics are lovely. Unfortunately, HD pics tend to develop a huge file size, and these are 300K to 500K each. We try to keep each entire *guide* less than that, when we can, in order to accommodate users with lower speed internet connections. The thought, however, is much appreciated.
  6. A crewbie has checked this and it seems to have been resolved. Thanks for letting us know.
  7. spelling and monster levels fixed. Still needs boots of lightness room.
  8. Most of the skill guides have sentences about boosting items, but they aren't always too noticeable. We have developed a consistent format and a section devoted to this, and are in process of incorporating it into the guides. Agility, Hunter, Runecrafting and Slayer Guides have received the treatment. We are also adding Familiar Aids to the Skill Guides.
  9. awesome, SerpentEye, please keep them coming! (fyi, if you crop your pic to 40x40, it helps us out just that *teensiest* bit more. but we are happy to work with what you are posting!) EDIT: The bird food and easter impling jar info has been uploaded and you've been credited thanks
  10. Sorry about that, fixed. Thanks!
  11. My assigned emotes were Clap, Salute, Goblin Bow, Goblin Salute, Glass Box, Climb Rope, Lean, Glass Wall, Idea, Stomp. - I did not wear any items at all. - Did all 10 emotes and then ended early. Ranged - 30 pts Magic - 30 pts Agility - 30 pts Hope this helps.
  12. Thanks very much for posting. However, for Treasure Trails clues we need a quickie JPG (or any format pic) of the clue to confirm any changes in the text, so that we can match the game perfectly. Please post again if you can get a pic!
  13. Player Made Guides for the quest posted in the forum are in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=180&t=789112 Crew is working on website guide, don't expect it will be done for at least several hours but possibly more. The forum guides should help in the meantime.

  15. my apologies Mattie, I truly thought I had posted on your thread before now. I definitely wanted to let you know how impressed I am with all the hard work you have put into this. You have way more persistence than I could possibly have with it, lol. I have not done circus yet this week. if you would please assign me one thing to do at the current location I will do it to contribute to the effort here. I'm not good at picking and choosing lol. my levels are: Agility 76 Magic 88 Ranged 86 and I have all emotes including a quest cape, if needed.
  16. added, credited, thanks! Welcome to Tip.It!
  17. pooponu1989 thanks for wanting to help. I am requesting that your post with video be moved to the Player Made Guide forum and merged with a topic and guide already there. Hopefully it might help some people. For new quests, that's where we look for information. When a guide has been released to our website, then Website Updates forum is the place to post any corrections you might find. Thanks for sharing your video.
  18. Saruman44, we appreciate contributions from users! Most of this info looks like it will be helpful to a guide. I will request that this topic be merged into the Player Made Guides forum where I know there is at least one guide in the works. We always look at forum guides posted the first day, and credit the helpful posts. The Tome of Glorious Deeds pic is good - png format pictures are good for us to work with. JPGs are excellent for showing information or text or what happens, but can't be edited to use for display on the website or in the items database. Monster pictures, levels, examines and drops are also GREATLY appreciated, and can always be posted in the Bestiary subforum.
  19. Player Made guides should be posted in the Archive of Wisdom forum in one of the Subforums. A moderator will move this.
  20. Ranged guide has been augmented per your post, and you've been credited. We'll be working this along and should have it done in a day or two. Thanks.
  21. I agree this is a faster way to get xp. I remember doing it for a while when I was low level, but I get bored pretty fast. As much as I'd like to include this info, I sometimes get the feeling that Jagex reads our website and nerfs anything people are enjoying, lol. So ... I think it's up to the individual player to notice the xp for these obstacles and choose how they want to train. That's my opinion, anyway. Thanks very much for sharing your info though, it's always appreciated!
