8/10- A lot.

My line went down 2 hours into my shift today. The supervisor gave me a choice between going home and cleaning something he hadn't even thought of yet. Sufficed to say, I didn't stick around to find out what it was. 3 hours is enough for today. Let's try for more tomorrow.

Saw Transformers: Dark of the Moon. It was mostly good, but I still can't like it.

I have been playing Diablo 2 as an axe-wielding Barbarian, again. It's probably my second favourite character behind the Werebear Druid.

I actually got sent home from work last night because there was nothing left to do. I wanted to leave, anyway, but they actually came to me and said go home. And not long before that, I was asked if I could work today. They wouldn't say what I would be doing, though, so I chose to stay home.

Woke up at 5:30am on Saturday morning and went to work to find my shift had been cancelled the night before. No phone call to let me know. I wasn't happy about having to do a day shift to begin with, but it was worse to get up for one that didn't exist. On the plus side, my cousin was over for the weekend. I hadn't seen him in almost a month, so that was nice.

Liles is a puck-mover. He is the replacement for Kaberle. I highly doubt Schenn is going anywhere for now.

I need to find a way to crawl out of bed Saturday morning at about 6am. So I am planning to stay up all night tonight and then go to bed early tomorrow. I also found out that I will have a 4-day weekend next week.

I like that coffin idea, but agree with others about the GE tax. If it had been put in from the start, it would be alright, but I would go back to dealing directly with the other player.

They never checked word count. They based it on a pre-determined number of words per page. So, 500 words/page would mean 4 pages. I don't remember how many words they actually said it was per page, though.

Word for word, that was the first thought that came to me after reading all that. Likewise. We never had to write notes a certain way, just however we felt helped us best. Grade 12, I didn't write notes at all. On that subject and on topic, too, the few teachers I had that DID give marks for your notes. One of them was in that grade 12 year... for 2 courses. Needless to say, she didn't like my work ethic.

I used to use that trick in school. My buddy taught me it. It helped me with a 2000 word essay on the Haitian Revolution. Instead of going to bed right now, I am discussing sleeping habits, on a friend's facebook status, with a girl I have never met.

Day off, so I played Diablo 2 again. I almost forgot how much I love it.

Sadly, I can't really think of a particularly happy memory. I guess the best memory I really have is finally leaving the man. I was 10 and the decision was left in my hands.

Is your family making bets? Not yet, but I might start taking bets soon. Personally, my money is on my sister to be the one returning. I have done almost nothing all weekend. Which is great because I was originally supposed to work Saturday. They canceled the shift while I was working Tuesday and then called my house Saturday morning to see if I wanted to work... My sister told them I wasn't home, for which I am glad. 23 hours is enough for one week.

I just witnessed 2 people who have hated each other for a decade hanging out. My sister and my cousin. They are even planning a vacation together and just went to book the trip... in the same car. And they'll be staying in the same room. For 5 days. I fear one will not be coming back.

1 year after the Leafs lost that series, Vancouver had a riot after a loss at MSG in game 7 (I think gold already mentioned this). So, I guess they were still idiotic back then. I can't really say much about riots in Toronto, though. We'll have to wait and see on that one. I actually agree that it's kind of sad to see us riot over a hockey game... but I also find it somewhat amusing that we did.

I work in an ice cream plant, mostly on a line that makes single-serving cups, though I know a few other jobs as well. For those interested, I work for Nestlé Canada Inc.

Pk16er and Gengma. Pk was my actual best friend, I've known him all my life. Gengma was his friend and helped me get started. I barely ever got to play, though, since I had no computer.

I'm not looking for another job. My job is fine and, when they leave me alone, I would even say I enjoy it. I just wish they would talk about something other than how much money I'm making them... just once. Oh well, I don't have to worry about another one of those for at least a month.

I haven't had french toast in years, its not really that great. I agree. I never understood why my sister loved it. I haven't been eating much lately. I think I might go make a hamburger at 12:30am. My sister will love that, sleeping very close to the kitchen.

I just had to sit through a meeting at work in which they talk about plant efficiencies and financial junk that has nothing to do with me. Usually, they have them at the start of the shift, but today, we had ours at the end. And because it was at the end, they didn't mind talking for more than the hour the set aside. We were all late leaving by a half hour.
