The best way to improve your communication skills is actually talking to people. The thing is, you can hold a perfectly fine conversation with people if you are confident. Confidence often makes people overlook flaws. It will be difficult at first, but just like a sport or any instrument it's one of those skills that you need to hone. I am a pretty good example of this, actually. When I started my job (early 2008), I wouldn't talk to anybody. Now, I'll joke and talk with just about anybody. I'm still working on being the conversation starter, though. People who try to tell me how to do my job at work, even though I TRAINED THEM.

I've been waiting for a half hour for my mom to take her shower so I can have one... She has, as of yet, not even started.

Just watched most of Star Trek (the new one). I've seen it before, but I like it. Chris Pine is no William Shatner, though.

I never had any of our food. I wasn't trusting the group I was in. I think we gave half of it to the french teacher. Wet bathroom floors. If you get out of the shower while wet and drip on the floor... soak it up.

Yeah, Boston earned it. But the only thing I like about it is Kaberle hoisting the Cup.

I don't think Vancouver deserves it the way they've played this series... but I don't want Boston to win it.

I painted my own room twice and helped with my sisters' rooms. This was about 10 years ago (I was ~12) before we sold our house. Maybe that's why I don't like it anymore... With any luck I will be buying food tonight. I would go now but without a vehicle (or valid driver's license... or one at all) and less than 2 hours before city buses end their service out here... I'm not gonna risk it. I'll wait for my aunt to get home and me and my sister(s) will go. I have been living off of random items found in the cupboards for too long.

Still not very much... but a little more... 2/10, perhaps?

I used to like painting rooms. I'm not entirely sure what happened to ruin that for me. Your "boring ass life" seems less so than mine. Mine is sleep, xbox/movie, work, xbox/movie, repeat (throwing in random bits of internet here and there). Except that I have today off so take work out of that.

I share the knee problem. I have had it for 12 years, now.

I love that movie. I can't even really pinpoint why. Watched Ramona and Beezus again last night. I like it too much.

I work today. On Saturday. Not Overtime. And I am expected to do it all over again next week... after doing it last week. I am tied with one other out of 8 (we only need 5) people for top of seniority... 2 years ahead of the next guy. Somehow this doesn't seem right.

I use it to talk to certain people. I email any friends that don't have facebook. If they got it, I don't doubt that I would never use my email again, though.

If I get 6 hours, anymore, I consider myself lucky. Loud thunder at 5am. 3 times in the last 2 weeks I have been woke up by it... I don't have to be up until noon.

Actually had to stay my full shift last night. 10 hours and 4 minutes, in fact. I had better get paid for that 4 minutes.

I would go back to Luongo for game 5. It wasn't really his fault they lost this one. The team didn't really do anything in front of him.

I've been at my job for almost 3 and a half years and people who started in February are getting Saturdays off while I'm being forced to work.

My dog would probably have ran off and hid. She's afraid of everything. Day off today. I like it because we're running a product that doesn't run well at all. And last night I successfully completed a 10 hour shift in 6 hours. That's right. 6 hours. Scheduled for 2:50pm-12:50am, I was out the door by 8:50pm, due to shortage of work and the offer to leave.

I grew up in an area where rumors never really started. Nobody wanted to come up with them, so they just didn't happen. I had never heard a rumor about me until I started my job in 2008. I would have been an easy target, as well, since I never spoke and was rarely seen outside school hours by anyone who wasn't a friend. And there was some truth behind that one rumor. I didn't care, though, because I never have cared what people say about me, overall. And for those interested, the rumor was that I am lazy. Outside of work, I am the laziest person I know.

I liked it I liked it the first time, then saw it again and... didn't. Watched Shaun of the Dead last night. Great movie.

Pretty much anything. I don't base it on genre, but on a song-to-song basis. Although I haven't found much rap I like. I listen to country the most, but that's just because of how I was raised.

7/10 Hmmm... well I've been neglecting my computer a lot lately, so I assumed it was just me.

6/10- reminds me of work... too many thumbups there. And quite often for no reason. Yeah, Varrock. Not sure exactly where, though.

^I agree. What is it? My 4th/5th/8th grade teacher (yeah, all the same guy) always kept a bunch in the classroom as rewards. I love the things, even though I never got too many. I was a lazy student.
