Hello artists. Our school has the habit of having a T-shirt that every exams candidate has to wear during that period. The t-shirt isnt just a t-shirt, it needs a nice logo and it has to relate with the year of the exams, in this case 2008. I want to make one, since I think I could do it (the logo only has to be black and the color of the t-shirt, I dont know it yet). So basicly, I have to design something that consists out of black lines only. Could someone help me out here, I need ideas on what to make. I dont need your perfectly designed works, because that wouldnt work. Some other info: The year 2006 had this logo: A space scene with stars, a rocket with a small door, and a hand reaching out of that door. The subtext was: Reach for the Stars. The year 2007 had this logo: A 007 James Bond logo, with the subtext: From the year 007, with love. I would be very grateful if someone could come up with something, or sending me into a direction. :wink:

Thanks for the replies. Ill keep this in mind. Depending on circumstances she might not be ready for a relationship right away. Thats the thing, she didnt show interest in me (and reversed) because she was dating. And 2 days ago, she started acting like she did before the relationship with that other guy. She was online at MSN the same day, and I didnt see any kind of 'I love you [name]' in her screenname. But Ill try to check indeed if its really over between them. Ask her out. The only difficulty would be the awkwardness around your friend. Like I said before, she isnt the 'party type' at all. So asking her out would be out of the question :P . Funny thing is, One of the 2 friends that i had played that soccer game with told our group of friends that the other friend that I played the soccer game with seems to like Girl 2 too, but I dont think he will stand a chance to be honest. :) Now out of the 3 it sounds like she would be the ideal. Try and go out to parties where she is K, thanks. @RpgGamer: Im not really looking for the short term thing, I just fear that 'if something would happen' we wouldnt be able to see eachother because I would be studying for my exams. Alright, where to start... This schoolyear, I notice that some girls like me. Dont get me wrong, I am not showing off about it to you. Last time I posted here and I said the same, I got called a show off :P . Im not like that at all. I have always been a quiet person, I never liked to be in the centre of attention. When I was 15 years of age, I wanted to change who I was because I didnt want to be that quiet guy anymore. I wanted to have better social skills, being able to talk to people normally and getting new contacts. I am 16 years old now and things seem to go pretty well, I am alot more confident of myself than I was back then. I like to talk to people I dont know yet, but there is still room for improvement. Back to the 'girl' thing. It feels good to know that girls seem like you, but I have come to the conclusion that this isnt progressing in any way. 90% of the girls that give me 'looks' and seem to talk about me havent spoken to me, and I havent spoken to them. Simply because we never meet, we only see eachother at school. There are 3 girls that I could talk to, (and I know they like me) looking at friends/work/church etc/ Girl 1: She goes to the same church as me, and I have known her since I was a baby. We havent talked much yet, but I really want to know more about her. She had a boyfriend for...a month? but she seems to have broken up yesterday. Girl 2: Sister of a friend of mine. Me, 2 drop out friends, she and her best friend played at the table soccer once, that was long ago. She seems to be a bit more introvert, like me but she seems like a nice girl. Girl 3: Talked to her a few times at work, she is very open and has alot of friends. We both work on fridays so there are plenty of chances to have a chat. I wonder if we could work out, because she is the only one of these 3 who parties. And I dont party :) And time is running out, I am in the last year of highschool and I will be studying for my exams in ..April/May. It would be such a shame if I would let this pass by. #-o Could someone help me with this situation, I am quite new to this. And the plan is to get a girlfriend sooner than my dad in his teenager years, he was 20 when he got his first girlfriend :P My mom. :) Feel free to ask me anything I forgot to tell, its 22:35 and I need to go to school tomorrow so Im going to sleep now.

Thats strange indeed, you can compare posting photos on TIF to fishing. :P Or you get 2 pages of replies, or no one posts. I think it has to do with the amount/subject/etc of photos too.

Great drawings, you managed to draw the expression on their faces very well. Small correction: The sword of the left character seems out of place, (Here's the correction to show what I meen.) This drawing looks so professional that it could be used in books without a doubt. You might come a long way if you keep on drawing.

I could have lied - Red hot chili peppers. Intro+Solo, great song. (I practice this song with my guitar.) I tried the outro from Funky Monks - Red Hot Chili Peppers for bass, but thats pretty hard. And it seems Flea used a 5 string bass, while I have a 4 string.

I used to drink alot of Shandy during my summer vacation in France, while reading books. When I was done drinking, I sort of sucked a vacuum in the bottle, bottles shaped like this one. I didnt know those bottles could cause terrible marks, so once I walked around with a dark red stain under my lip :P :anxious: It healed after 2-3 days though. It wasnt real embarrasing because I dont think anyone except my family had seen it, I only felt stupid. #-o

Ive never been to a pizzahut like Domino's, always eat pizza's at home. I guess the pizza's I eat are quite small, I eat a whole pizza. (8 pieces) And the pizza's I eat fit exactly in a plate. :boohoo:

Water on a glass object maybe? :? Im curious what it is. Cant you tell Tip.it? :) I like the first one most, the mix of colors and texture is great. The blurs in the second one seem a but too edited, the contrast from sharp to blurry is too sudden in the right above corner.

Ofcourse I'll comment 8-) My 2 favorites: Second and Third. About the second: Great that you took the plants for focus, almost seems a Painting-like photo. The viewer knows what is blurred, you put the focus on the plants and that makes this photo interesting. If you did reverse the focus, the viewer would probably see what he expected, a dark lake with a horizon. About the third: I thought I saw a bottle of beer in the lake at first, but I guess they're boeys (?) or something. Nice photo, I like the colors. Image quality is pretty good too.

My favorites: [hide=Photo] [/hide] ^Because of the focus^ [hide=Photo] [/hide] ^Good DoF, but the right white blur could be cut off.^ It seems like you use a low F number, a big part of these photos are focused on a small part. (At the orange bellied-bird, dont know the proper name, I see alot of focus on the grass) Thats a shame, some photos really have potential if the whole subject would be sharp. Like this one, sharp head, but its feet and wings are blurry. I wonder, did you use a tripod? Alot photos are blurry, and again the F number makes a small part of the object sharp. 2 things to work on, try a higher F number and try a tripod for long focal lengths when you photograph birds. :wink: This makes me want to go to my park, with a lake :)
