Dragon Scimitar, Barrelchest Anchor, Bandos Agility Arena...
You either hit your max or 0 I believe. No. The old whip special cast ensnare on a player or monster for like 5 or 10 seconds.

April Fools day items aren't discontinued. Are you new to RuneScape or something? Take a visit to Draynor one of these days.

Dragon Scimitar, Barrelchest Anchor, Bandos Agility Arena...
That was the Abyssal whip, not the dragon scimitar. As for the Barrelchest Anchor. Yes it was nerfed. But it had to be nerfed, it was far too overpowered by any standards.

April Fools Day Diango Toy almost guaranteed to be a....
Well, April 1st is coming up. I think many people have guessed what the toy will be. I'm talking of course about a toy Sailboat. In fact, I don't think there's any way that it won't be that. Especially with how much people have been talking about the Sailing skill recently, of which Jagex has confirmed won't be released. I think the real question is what will we be able to do with the boat? It will be hard to top a kite that we can actually fly around, will we be able to put the boat on water and watch it float until it sinks? If anyone else has any theories about what toy they think Jagex will release for April Fools Day feel free to post it, but it seems unlikely that it will be anything but a toy boat.

RS1 Possibly Making A Comeback?
Maybe Jagex is trying to apologize. Better late than never. Apologize for what? For the statement you put in bold. I think you misunderstood me. I said that they(as in players) shouldn't get special treatment in a game that they shunned(RuneScape 2). RSC players decided not to upgrade to RS2 because they didn't like change. Jagex should not have to apologize to players that hated all of the hard work Jagex put into making a new version of RuneScape. I think RSC players should maybe get a new item IN RSC. But why should they get an item in RS2 just because they managed to stop their RSC accounts from getting auto-deleted for so long? I lasted a year before my RSC account got deleted. Shouldn't I get a cape in RS2 that has "Survived for 1 year in RSC" written on the back of it? What of the people that lasted 2, 3, or even 4 years but simply didn't have the time to play RSC instead of RS2? Also someone said RSC players are just the ones that have been playing for the longest. While this might be true for some RSC players, it's also true for some RS2 players as well. In fact I know many RS2 players that have played RuneScape much longer than many RSC players. How could this be possible an idiot might ask? Very simple, they upgraded with the rest of us when we went to RS2(The better version which Jagex promised would get updated often, instead of RSC which Jagex said would not be updated.). As for the comment about Scythes and Bunny Ears, of course those are from RuneScape Classic. But at least everyone that was playing RuneScape at the time had a chance to get the Scythes and Bunny Ears, where as this RSC cape will only go to a very small handful of people(Probably not even 500 people).

Runescape God Mythology
Simple terms: Saradomin - God of goodness. Guthix - The god of balance, possibly Zaros' father. Zamorak - The now god of badness, born a Mahjraart (sp?) Iban - A follower of Zamorak, now a God (upon completion of While Guthix Sleeps) Bandos - The God of Goblins and Ogres Armadyl - The God of the skies/wings. Any others you want to know? Yeah. You're pretty far off. You seem to know almost nothing about RuneScape mythology. Saradomin - God of law. Guthix - God of balance(You were right with the first part, but then you just HAD to get it wrong!) Zamorak - God of chaos. Bandos - God of war. Armadyl - God of good and of the sky. Zaros - Has been called the god of evil by his enemies, but it's more likely he was the god of power. Marimbo - God of monkeys. Seren - Most likely the goddess of the cosmos/space. But we only really know her as the goddess of crystals. Then there's the desert gods, and also Jas that we don't know much about yet.

RS1 Possibly Making A Comeback?
Maybe Jagex is trying to apologize. Better late than never. Apologize for what? Improving RuneScape and making it a better game? If anything the people that remained in classic should apologize for keeping classic alive instead of letting Jagex completely move on, and for keeping so many party hats and other rares isolated from the real RuneScape market. I don't think its fair to call them "the most loyal players in Runescape". What about the freaks who just never got the chance to play RS1, yet totally love RS2 ? Do they deserve to be called less loyal? Or the maybe 80-90% of the players in 2004 who helped Jagex keep RS alive by migrating from RS1 to RS2 upon launching? At the time Jagex would call you loyal if you switched over to RS2, and now they plan on rewarding the ones who did not? So to sum things up. I don't see a valid reason to create just another gap between RS1 players and RS2 players. It will at best just result in a new generation of braggarts and elitists. I didn't even notice they called RSC players more loyal than RS2 players! I am very insulted. That's like saying people that still use Windows 1.0 are loyal Windows Users. A real loyal user would upgrade their product every time a new product was released. RSC players are not the loyal ones, the loyal ones were the ones that when they saw Jagex release a new version of RuneScape they decided to trust that the new version would be better and upgrade to it.

RS1 Possibly Making A Comeback?
While the idea of a third cheatserver sounds interesting, this idea of a new item that only RuneScape classic users can get INSIDE RuneScape 2 really doesn't seem fair in any sense. Mod MMG should be fired for even considering it! I played RuneScape classic. In fact I kept my RuneScape classic account for over a year after it was closed to the public. But I forgot to log into RuneScape classic for 3 months and I lost my classic account(As I'm sure was the case with many other people). So no, I don't think it would be fair at all for all CURRENT RSC players to get an item in RS2. They should get a RSC item for RSC, but certainly not for RS2. It isn't fair for anyone else, especially people that have played RSC but can't play it any more. If they allowed you to have this item from the start then maybe more people would have logged into RSC often in order to keep their classic account and the item. Does this make any frakking sense to anyone? Because it doesn't make any sense to me as to why they'd get a special item. Hell they get their own isolated forums now as well as an isolated game, that should be enough. These people chose to play RSC over RS2, that should be enough. They shouldn't get special treatment in a game that they shunned in the first place!!!!

17th March 2009 - The Chosen Commander|Route-finding Update
I looked for it, dug in a few places with a spade, I just couldn't find it. Maybe it's somewhere in the long path between Lumbridge and the mines, that path with all the traps.

Quest 150
Last quest of the Goblin Storyline, woot! Zanik and these quests were just far too corny for me.

Possible format for Development Diaries
I think he means that we're unsure if they'll use the same really long development diaries, or if they'll have these really short ones like they just made on FunOrb. I think Lord Shalaj is right. They'll probably only have really short development diaries like the one on FunOrb. EDIT: By the looks of the FunOrb Development Diary it appears as though it might be updated like a blog as the release gets closer. RuneScape Development Diaries of the past were just one giant post, it's possible the new RunScape Development Diaries will be more like a blog(I think MMG said something like that, come to think of it.). Example(Of course each one will have several paragraphs and several pictures, but this is just an example):

Would you rather have BTS or the DD or the SoP?
I'd prefer a monthly or even a bi-monthly BTS with a disclaimer that the release of the updates aren't guaranteed as apposed to a "when we feel like it" DD(Because Jagex RARELY ever feels like it.).

Mod MMG's Ingame Behind the Scenes
I never considered going to his clan chat, most Jagex Mods make their clan chats friends only.. I bet it gets pretty flooded in it though. I'm not surprised about the 150th quest though. Although I still think it's a little silly that they're holding back the release of finished quests because of the 150th. But hopefully it means after the 150th quest we'll get a bunch of updates all at once(Wishful thinking though, they'll probably want to spread it out for weeks without updates.).

Eastern Lands: Coming soon?
Same. :x EDIT: Now I got it, Yeah, doesn't look like anything in game, maybe mystic, but mystic looks a bit different than that... All linked RuneScape picture URL's are 404's. Refreshing usually doesn't fix the page, but going to that page a second time when you're already there usually does.

RuneScape Q&A Further Answers 05-Mar-2009
Finally a straight answer on Wilderness Tag. We no longer have to wonder if it will ever be released. :D Shockingly I thought when at the end of that month they said Wilderness Tag had been scrapped (was on forums) that in conclusively answered that one, guess not eveyrone saw it though. But don't speak too soon, the rwt and pking q&a didnt stop the bring the widly back! threads I'm pretty sure they didn't say scrapped.. They said something along the lines of putting it on hold and redesigning it so it would be fun.

Strange Fruit?
They're easier to get now then they used to be.. Chances are the prices might go down. I went to Brimhaven and just ran around collecting them for a few minutes for fun.. Got like half an inventory of them in almost no time at all.. :D

Oh how I miss you BTS...
When I woke up I was expecting to see the BTS as well.. I completely forgot they said they'd stop posting them... I have nothing to look forward to now... The BTS always gave me things to look forward to and I could make a little checklist as each update was released and then look forward to the next one on the list. Now what am I supposed to look forward to? Jagex ruined my life. :x

Are parent too harsh on Jagex? or misunderstood?
Actually, chances are he paid someone who just goes to GWD regularly. But even if he did pay a macroer, it's the macroer ruining the game - NOT the real world trader on the buying end (in this case Timmy). RWTers don't ruin the game for anybody. Timmy did not try to kill our game, therefore the only thing he should feel sorry for is being irresponsible enough to let himself get hacked. Honestly, you guys are all interchanging macroers and people who use stolen credit cards with real world traders. Macroers ruined the game, players who used stolen credit cards didn't necessarily ruin the game but they sure as hell hurt Jagex, real world traders on the other hand didn't affect the game in any way for you and I. If there were no RWTers there would be no macroers. Why would macroers exist if there weren't someone to buy the things they macro to get? Without RWT there would be no macroers, and hence, by RWTing Timmy supported macroing Actually. Before macros were used to gold farm in MMO's they were first used to level up your character without you having to be at your computer while your character leveled up.

If this guy ever gets his account and items back(Account at least, Jagex doesn't give items back.), I suggest someone link Jagex to this video so they can see he admitted to RWT'ing. Also. Talk about a slow news day. Kids get scammed every day in every online game. That's why most online games don't allow anyone under 13.

Feb 9 2009: The Future of Runescape
Not very happy about BTS going away. Although I am pretty happy they're bringing back DD's. On one hand BTS told us everything that would happen(and in many cases we were able to prepare for some quests just from what the BTS vaguely mentioned.). But with Development Diaries we'll get pretty pictures.. They better have multiple DD's a month!!! Not monthly or bimonthly. I also hope they don't do what they did last time with Development Diaries where they said they'd make them often but after the first few they completely forgot about them.

The definition of a "noob"?
n00b is just slang for Newbie. No difference. End of discussion.

Multiple Accounts (Multi's)
I only have one account because I don't have the time nor desire to have a second account. However I know some player mods have a second account so they can play RuneScape without being bothered(Because Jagex REFUSES to ever let pmods turn their crowns on or off).

The New Shields
Why does it seem only people with 1 or 2 posts bring back threads that have been DEAD FOR NEARLY HALF A YEAR.
