I Want A Sequel/Prequel!
Serenity 2 and 3. The Big Damn Trilogy must be complete! I know I'll get a lot of crap for this, but I'd like to see an X-men 4. They are generally pretty crappy movies, but I'd really like to see a few of the other storylines. Sentinels, Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, none of those have been done yet. There are a ton of storylines that are just too SciFi though.

Ordered and received. CD's and DVD's.
The 5 hour one is the TV version, right? I'll have to watch it later in the week, 5 hours is something I have to plan around :P . The DeepDiscount.com Criterion Collection Sale is actually a pretty good sale, so I had to buy something. I have absolutely no money right now though, which is why I could only buy Fanny & Alexander. $35 isn't too bad for a 5 disc 3 movie Criterion box set :D .

Choose Your Mode: [Easy] [Medium] [Hard]
If it's a new type of game I will play on easy. If it turns out to be way to easy and I can change it, I will switch to a harder difficulty. If not, I'll just run through it on easy. When I got Oblivion I immediately put it up to +100 which is the hardest you can go. I knew how to play for the most part before starting, so I didn't have to go through the learning phase. Made it pretty damned hard, but very fun :D

PS3 Wii or 360 !!!!!!
Yeah I know. When the cursor goes off the screen it gets stuck on a side and just keeps on going around. During the part I was talking about there isn't a cursor or anything, but it still will only register when it is pointed at the screen, off just a bit and it doesn't like to work. It's really bad in multiplayer games like Super Monkey Ball. You just get a little corner of the screen to point at, around 4.5"by 4.5", and if you are off just a bit it gets stuck on the side and rolls around.

What movie(s) did you last see?
300 - Was going to watch it on the IMAX screen, but that turned out to be sold out. It was still pretty epic on the regular screen. A good fighting action movie. Pretty close storyline wise to the graphic novel except for [hide]the whole queen storyline. She is barely in it at all.[/hide]

PS3 Wii or 360 !!!!!!
Attacking while you are Wolf-Link. When you are regular Link it's not that bad, since your sword kind of goes how you swing it. But when you are the Wolf it just doesn't seem right. Also because my TV is so small the Wiimote doesn't work all that well sometimes. You remember the part where you have to sumo wrestle the Gorons? I couldn't beat that because the slap would never work, the way I was doing it the game would lose track of the Wiimote and just not register it. My cousin ended up beating that for me, he ended up getting it to work. Still, he didn't get it to work by doing a slapping motion, he got it to work by just moving pointer very slightly. If a small motion like that is all that is required I would rather just click a button, that I don't have to just hope will work.

Simply the best computer application I have ever used.
While it is a very interesting idea, I don't type all that well so I don't see myself using it very much.

Daylight Savings Time?
I just noticed my computer didn't automatically change the time, which is what I usually rely up to set everything else by. I just synced it via the automatic synchronization option that gets it's info from time.windows.com, and it still didn't get the correct time. That means I manually had to do it, and I bet in a few weeks I'll have to change it back.

PS3 Wii or 360 !!!!!!
I'm just saying that I think some games are better of played with a normal controller. The wii-mote is great, but not for everything. I 100% agree, I prefer the classic controller for my old N64 games I actually think I would have liked Zelda: Twilight Princess a lot more if I bought the GC version and could use the controller.

300
I get to the theater one hour early, only to have the showing I want to see (IMAX) sold out. So I ended up having to see it on a regular screen. It was packed at the theater, only seen it busier once before (midnight showing of episode 3, which was insane). Overall the movie was what I expected, and I enjoyed it. The great lines weren't as epic as I expected them to be, probably because I was waiting for them so much. Oh and there is a good amount of nudity in it also, which made sitting next to a 9 year old kid very awkward. His dad kept on telling him to put his hands over his eyes during the "bad" parts, but seeing peoples heads get cutoff apparently is OK.

I liked how the 300 and Sin City graphic novels look. I didn't like his run of Daredevil as much though.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Leben der Anderen, Das - Overall a pretty good movie, an interesting storyline. It's about a intelligence guy working during the time when East Germany was occupied by Socialists. The title, The Lives of Others, explains it pretty well. He is spying on a particular artist, knows every aspect of his life. It has a decent ending, it was kind of dragging out there so I was a bit worried but it ended up nicely, the last shot was great.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I have to be in a certain sort of mood for a movie like that, I might get it and then just hold onto it until then. :D The General - I have nothing against silent movies, I just like to multi-task while watching movies and therefore I miss more than I should during silent ones. However that wasn't a problem at all on this one, I was really enjoying it the whole time and never got distracted. It's a comedy about a Confederate during the Civil War who is trying to impress the girl he likes. He isn't allowed to join the military because he is a train engineer on a train called The General, and is considered "too valuable" to waste as a soldier. Had some laugh out loud moments, a comedy doesn't need spoken jokes to be absolutely hilarious. Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens - Dracula/vampire horror stories generally don't interest me all that much. While the story was just OK, the movie was great. I think it was just seeing what they could do with a movie in 1922, the shadows at the end were awesome. It's a horror/thriller movie and I never actually felt scared or anything, I would suggest this movie more for people who enjoy the classics than people who like horror movies.

RTS Games
I also enjoy the turn-based ones more. Rome: Total War and Civilization 4 both completely take away my life when I start to play them. As far as RTS go, I liked AoE II and Red Alert I and II best.

Grindhouse
Why the hell did they do that? It doesn't make any sense. They can't be that hard up for money.

PS3 Wii or 360 !!!!!!
I agree Windwaker looked pretty childish, and Twilight Princess has a tiny bit of childish charm to it as well, but Twilight Princess is far too complicated for a mere child to beat, Windwaker had its complicated moments as well(Even though I did beat it in less than a week, I would sorta say Windwaker is somewhere in between too easy for adults and a bit hard for children). Hell I can't even beat this damn sumo wrestling part. That's why I haven't played for over a month now :D .

lost in lost?
They do mean something, check out The Lost Experience we were talking about above. That was one of the main complaints of what is wrong with Lost now. Making a very important part of the story take place in an internet game, and not telling the average viewer anything about it. None of my family, all of which have been die hard Lost fans since the first episode, knew anything about it. Sure they will probably have it revealed eventually in the series, but it's already out there and we know. I just don't think they thought that through very well.

The Godfather
There are three of them. Number 1 and 2 are generally held in very high standing, while number 3 isn't all that much. The first two are similar, while the third one kind of goes a different way. Personally I didn't enjoy them as much as I thought I would. They were good movies, just didn't rub me the right way. Same thing with another Francis Ford Coppola movie, Apocalypse Now. It was good, just didn't seem to hit me the right way. The exception is the last movie of his I watched, The Conversation which I enjoyed more than I thought I would judging by the first part of the movie. Still don't let any of that stop you, they are all great movies, and I would recommend them.

Recommend me thread!
Well then, I read in another thread here (can't remember which one) that you have Morrowind and Oblivion. I definitely would suggest playing Morrowind first, since Oblivion makes some things easier (such as traveling) and going to play Morrowind after that may make you like it less. So much of the experience of playing Morrowind comes from the openness of it, and if you travel everywhere you can miss a lot. The only reason I didn't suggest those was the length, once you get into it you have much more than 10 days worth of game time, and you may find yourself unable to stop :D .

South park episode 1101 - With Apologies to Jesse Jackson
Announcement at the top of the page  . Anyways, it was one of the better ones. I was dying at the end when all the white senators were worrying about being called n*****guy. Also the midget was hilarious. EDIT: Holy [cabbage] they censor midg*t? What the hell is that crap? EDIT2: Just realized the hilarity of that when taking into account the episode we are talking about :P .

Favourite cheesy 80's film?
