Ordered and received. CD's and DVD's.
Yeah it was definitely a blind buy, but I figured $116 for 10 seasons was too good to pass up. I've also heard many great things about it. So far though I am unimpressed. Also I have had three discs screw up so far, only one screwed up a lot though. Ended up having to skip a minute of an episode because of a piece of something stuck to the disc. There were big pieces of substance stuck to some of the discs but it came off fairly easily, this small piece would not come off at all. Can't be too crazy with it so I don't scratch more off. The box set is absolutely horrible, if I have more problems I am going to just return it. The reviews all stated it was horrible but I went along with it anyhow. One of the reviews stated that the only box set worse was the M*A*S*H collection, I didn't check out it's reviews though to see if it was an isolated incident. Might want to before purchasing it, no matter how good of a deal it is.

The Dark Knight [Tag all spoilers, please]
Yeah I went ape-[cabbage] about that on page 3, it was #4 on the list with just the reviews from advanced screenings and midnight screenings the Friday it was out. Crazy.

Did the price of the first printing go down because of this new version coming out? I was looking on eBay for it a few weeks ago and they were selling for around $65, not too bad. I've bought a few things since the last time I posted, mostly TV series. Two recent movies have been Serenity (special edition) and Team America: World Police. My two most recent purchases have been entire TV series box sets though: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Chosen Collection 40 discs - 7 seasons - $93 Stargate SG1 Complete Series Collector's Edition 54 discs - 10 seasons - $116 The Buffy one I bought after I watched the entire series, so I knew the content it is definitely worth it. It's a nice collection box too, everything is durable and snug in it. SG1 I bought blind having not seen anything related to Stargate. So far halfway through season 2 I am disappointed, but there is plenty of time for it to pick up. The packaging for this set is atrocious though. I actually took out all the DVDs since they were in these cardboard sleeve type of things, half of the discs had fallen out anyhow. A good amount of them have scuffs on them, luckily I haven't had any playback problems yet. Only through 7 of the 54 discs though.

Haha oh wow, nostalgia.
I've recently slowed down on posting, so it shouldn't be too hard to catch up :D .

Bruce opened up a telecomm division that dealt with cell phones. Fox asked him about it at one point. It was foreshadowing for later when we saw the cell phone sonar machine.

Flight of the Conchords
Yep, I like them. The first time I saw the episodes I was drinking which made it pretty hilarious, then a few days after that I watched it all the way through. Funny stuff.

I thought the films were ok-to-stupid, however I do like Depp's Sparrow also. Don't really see the comparison to the Joker though either.

Morrowind: Game of the year edition [*Important* question]
Yep, I always play the vanilla version first also. I started modding after all the main and faction quests were done.

Longest movie ever...
10th Kingdom is a Hallmark channel mini-series, not a movie.

If you had $1000...
What the hell was the point of writing $1000 then if you are just going to say as much as you want anyways?

If you had $1000...
If you had $1000? What kind of crazy scenario is that. $1000 is basically nothing.

Or the people in Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma since they are so nonchalant about it all.

Morrowind: Game of the year edition [*Important* question]
Can't argue with any of those, they are all true. However all of those problems can be fixed if you have the PC version. The only one that I don't know if anyone has fixed yet is the overuse of voice actors. All the rest have been taken care of with mods except the gates, and there is a console command to close them.

HEROES SPOILER!!
Oh, I get you now. Yeah, that for the most part is true, whichever comic you are reading they are going to make you feel for the main character. That's why Deadpool is awesome even though he isn't really a good guy sometimes, but sometimes is.

an internet musical miniseries experiment: Dr. Horrible!
It was never meant to be free, they just gave it away for free for a few days.

HEROES SPOILER!!
If you haven't read any comics since the 80s then that's true, but ever since then they have been all about the gray.

Watchmen
A lot of people never give comics a chance, and it's sad because they are an entertainment media just like books of movies. Glad you tried it, it does take a little getting used to the format of reading a speech bubble then looking at the picture or vice versa and some people can't stand it. Which is fine as long as they give it a good try. I'm especially glad that you tried it and ended up liking it. Suggestions from here on in will be harder since in my opinion you have read the greatest one of them all. My second favourite would have to be the Sandman by Neil Gaiman, which many usually choose over Watchmen as the best. It is 60 issues though where Watchmen was 12, so you have to set aside more time for it. Graphic Novels related to movies: 300 by Frank Miller V for Vendetta by Alan Moore The Fountain by Darren Aronofsky Southland Tales by Richard Kelly (must read this before seeing the movie anyways) Other Graphic Novels/comic series: American Way by John Ridley Global Frequency by Warren Ellis I didn't include any of the regular Marvel Universe in there that I normally read, that involves a huge commitment of time because you have 50 years of backstory to catch up on. I'm still lost some of the time after reading for 2 years.

Tetris, can't beat a classic.

Morrowind: Game of the year edition [*Important* question]
Morrowind is my second favourite game of all time, I absolutely love it. Suggestions for the start are to just explore, don't worry about doing anything in particular. Unless you just want to get straight into the story, then it's probably a good idea to head to Balmora right away like said above.

an internet musical miniseries experiment: Dr. Horrible!
Heads up, you can only see it for free for a few more hours. I just watched all three acts a second time and I liked it more than the first time. The first time seeing act three there are a few things you wouldn't expect, and you are also kind of disappointed that it is over. The second time through you just enjoy it :D .

The Dark Knight [Tag all spoilers, please]
I fail to see why a superhero movie is lower on the food chain than a crime movie or a romance movie. This movie shouldn't be number 1 for other reasons, however the genre a movie is in doesn't make a difference.

The Dark Knight [Tag all spoilers, please]
Yeah, it's crazy. It was at #4 yesterday with just 4,000 votes. The way the top 250 algorithm works means the less the votes the harder it is to get on the list, so that it was on there with 4,000 would be impressive even if it was #250. That it was number #4 is just absolutely crazy. That it went up in the rankings to #3 the second day is unheard of. EDIT: HOLY [cabbage] It is now #1 on the IMDb's Top 250!

The Dark Knight [Tag all spoilers, please]
Yeah, it was awesome. Really don't have anything to add to what has already been said here or what you have most likely heard elsewhere. All I'll say is it is currently listed as the #3 movie of all time on IMDb's Top 250 list, and I can see why.

an internet musical miniseries experiment: Dr. Horrible!
Well I didn't see that coming at all. It was pretty good, I think I liked it a little less than act 1 and 2 because it's over now, and that's a little disappointing.
