The KB claims you get the black ibis clothing from looting urns and sarcophagus, I think they're just very rare to be honest. I've also been camped out there since the update yesterday and got nothing. The Sceptre of the Gods can only be obtained from the 8th room as well, apparently. Seems all the new items are insanely rare so you just have to stick with it unfortunately and hope for the best!

No, mainly because of the huge botting problem. It's pretty much impossible for new F2P players to do anything in RS anymore because it's so bot infested, I can't imagine it would be all that fun for them.

New (I think) Sceptre of the Gods from Pyramid Plunder: Offers 10 teleports as opposed to the 3 offered by the jewelled golden sceptre. Also, when wielding this sceptre in Pyramid Plunder, you get the following benefits: * 2 new urns will become visible in the last two rooms which provide a better chance of getting good loot. * You have an increased chance of obtaining the black ibis armour pieces. The rewards look pretty nice to be fair, looks like I'm going to have to start playing a few mini games that aren't Castle Wars or Pyramid Plunder again!

It's annoying and disappointing but it's a logical move from Jagex's point of view, some people will genuinely refer friends for the xp boost and other will create accounts and spend their own money to get the xp boost. Either way Jagex makes money from this. I'm not in any way supportive of this, but they are a business and it does make business sense. It does make me wonder how far we actually away from being directly able to purchase xp boosts and such.

For about a week now I've found that often when I post on Tip.It from Safari it tries to post my message more than once, even when I don't click "post" more than once. It happens with the PM system too, I managed to send the same PM 3 times earlier despite only clicking on send once. Also the emoticons box is blank and when I edit a post the submit button is almost completely cut off: Safari version is the most recent and Snow Leopard is fully up to date. Is this a problem with the forum's compatibility with Safari or just a problem with Safari itself? As I said it was fine a week ago and there haven't been any updates I've installed for Safari or OS X in about a month so I don't know what would have caused it. This is also the only forum it happens on. Oh and no posts about how I should use 'X' Browser or how Windows is better than OS X please! I just want to know if this is a Safari or Tip.It problem :P Thanks!

Is there going to be somewhere where Tip.Iters can meet either before the event or once inside? Kind of hard to know who the Tip.Iters are otherwise :P

The Ninth Gate: Weird film, not particularly brilliant though. The story was interesting and the film had the potential to be really good but it was massively let down by the acting (Depp was good, as he always is), the effects and the ending. Films that just end without explaining anything annoy me massively. 6/10

The only time I have ever done Temple Trekking was for whichever quest it was and I didn't enjoy it, the BTS does make it sounds like quite a promising improvement though. The graphics are looking nice too :thumbup:

Super 8: Really good film, very entertaining. The plot was decent and the characters were pretty good, I can see the child actors in this being quite successful in the future. The only bad thing I will say about it was that it ended a bit suddenly, oh and the train crash was ridiculous. On the whole a really good film though, definitely worth a watch and also you see the completed zombie film in the credits. 8/10

I believe Blackjacking or Pyramid Plunder are the best options for your level. As far as I remember, Blackjacking is slightly better xp but more tedious than PP.

Wilderness until at least 60 then you can either swap to Werewolf (slightly less xp) or continue on with the Wilderness Course, just depends if PKers are annoying you or not.

Like the person above me said, TDs are pretty good for cash and effigies and Frost Dragons are still a pretty good money maker although their effigy drop rates aren't as good. Green Dragons can give around 2m gp/hr (or they could when I last checked) so they're a good alternative too, not sure what the bot population around them is like though.

BXP weekends are in September and March (6 months apart) so it wont be announced yet. Anyway this looks like a good month, especially the Myreque quest. Looking forward to it.

Wonderful drive by Button there, he really is in a class of his own in conditions like today and he really deserved that win. Nobody else really had a great race except for Di Resta and the Torro Rossos. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened had Alonso gone onto the Soft tyres rather than the Super-Softs at his 3rd stop. Hamilton's spin was stupid and dangerous too, he deserved that penalty. The downside of this race is that Vettel has extended his lead in the Championship to the biggest gap all season... Oh and that's the first time I've actually seen a car literally blow up in a race, hope the marshall is ok.

Unknown: Good film with a pretty surprising twist at the end and Liam Neeson is an awesome actor. The end of the film felt a bit rushed though. 7/10

I have heard, although not checked it out myself that German TV channel RTL has free live streaming of F1 races so you could watch that, mute it and have Radio 5 Live's commentary. Of course unless you have an internet TV it wont be the same, but better than forking out for Sky.
