  1. Something I have been wondering, if you're asked by the keyer to go and make a potion and immediately after the keyer calls ggs gd is it better to continue making the pot or go to the gd?
  2. The only thing I don't particularly like about this update is that orange dots take priority over green dots so it's difficult to differentiate between friends and clan members. Other than that this update doesn't effect me hugely but I can see why clans would find it useful.
  3. Level 13 Woodcutting
  4. Me neither, only thing I've noticed is GE and Friendslist being down
  5. Runescape is offline, only those already logged in seem to still be able to play :P
  6. That may be true id have to do some research on that since coal has gone up and herbs have gone down but it definetly is still profitable to do herbs. As far as 9 maple 6 coal id put all on maple since i tree nests are 5k each ish and tree seeds are always a nice bonus I'm pretty sure you get the same amount of nests regardless of wether you have 9 or 10 on Maples, I could be wrong though.
  7. I believe that now the best option is 9 on Maples and 6 on Coal. I usually just put in 1m GP if I know I am going to check it every week, a little extra just in case for whatever reason I don't get on to collect my resources.
  8. Do not listen to this person You Mage prayer the special. normal attacks are melee. My apologies I was always under the impression the special hit through protection prayers
  9. If you really hate it use Penguin Points on it as well, although those are better suited to more expensive/slower skills. If it's your lowest skill do ToG weekly (though you should do that anyway). Other than that both fruit and normal trees would be the fastest xp but expensive, herbs would be the most cost effective.
  10. The special attack hits through protection prayers so it's pointless to pray against it, just stick with Melee Prayer.
  11. Undoubtedly the best race in a while, a lot of overtaking, unpredictable tyres and 4 race Leaders (Vettel, Alonso, Massa and Heidfeld) although 3 of those were because Vettel had just pitted. Those Lotus Renaults are so impressive off the line it's just a shame they don't have the race pace to match, Petrov got 3rd last race due to Alonso and Webber having to make another stop and Heidfeld should have been 6th this race and got lucky but that's racing! Both Ferraris seem to have the race pace, just not the qualifying pace so I suspect we'll see them on the podium within the next few races and neither the drivers or Domenicali seem too worried which suggests to me they have one or two tricks up their sleeves. Really disappointed and surprised to see both Hamilton and Alonso get 20 second penalties after the race for their scrap though, looked to me like a racing incident with Alonso being caught out by how slow the McLaren was. Alonso will be happy it didn't cost him a position but I suspect Hamilton will be annoyed he ended up dropping to 8th after having his race ruined by strategy once again. Nothing really to say on the Red Bulls, Webber didn't have KERS which hampered him, Vettel had KERS for most of the race and won.
  12. Put me down, I'll still be on Easter break while that's going on so I'll have nothing better to be doing :P
  13. BloodAngel replied to Lupes's topic in Help and Advice
The Maul can be used at Waterfiends, Tormented Demons, PvP, Nex, Sara GWD and Wyverns (with 88 Summoning and 95 Prayer) so it's definitely worth buying if you plan to do any of those. I think (though someone might correct me on this) that without a Steel Titan and killing them in the CTs cannoning Black Demons or Wyverns would be a better option for charms. If you just want Melee xp though then Ancient Cavern Fiends are still a viable way of collecting charms.
  14. I was lurking on another forum the other day and I found that they had something that warned you if you're viewing a topic that hadn't been posted in for 30 days. I know it isn't a huge problem on Tip.It but it might help stop particularly newer users from bumping old topics without realising it, unlikely to stop people who are determined to bump old topics though :P This is what it looked like on the other forum: Just an idea anyway!
  15. I don't remember the exact length of time but I think after a month or two it stops being possible to add someone by their original username as the name becomes freed up for other people to use. As far as I know there is no way of finding out what someone's current name is with only their old one unless you have them added and even then you can only see what their last name was.
  16. For the shield use a Rune or Dragon Defender. As for the helm if you can, get a Helm of Neitiznot which you get for completing the Fremennik Isles quest. When Slaying you should use a Black Mask or Full Slayer Helm.
  17. They turned everyone's cursor to Justin Bieber's face on the forums but they had to remove it early because people thought Tip.It had been compromised
  18. I actually think they might have moved/changed the area that Bronze Dragon walks or at least the likelihood of it wandering to near that portal because a couple of weeks ago I hopped 3 or 4 times to find a world where it wasn't guarding the portal and even then I got turned to toast. A couple of friends seem to have been hit by its dragonfire too in the last few weeks. Could just be bad luck, but I'd never seen or experienced it happening in the entire time the CTs have been there :P
  19. Torag's has better stats and is considerably cheaper than Dragon Armour. Realistically Dragon Armour serves little purpose these days other than to show off. You will need to get 70 defence for Barrows Armour though. Verac's/Proselyte is another option if you're planning on praying in combat, although looking at your stats I'd say that's probably not on your priority list.
  20. Not experienced it myself, but I have been told it's good at Wyverns if you have Soul Split.
  21. Personally I would suggest meleeing them and using a cannon unless you're specifically looking for Ranged xp. Wear Torag's/Bandos, protect from range and piety with extremes and a Bunyip or War Tortoise carrying food. Pick up bones if you have the space (which you probably will due to eating). A whip will manage fine there although a CLS would be better. Just something to consider/try out anyway :P
  22. Superheating gold is pretty much the best way to go until level 88. With Gold Smithing gauntlets it's around 140k Smith xp, 132k Magic xp/hr and fairly cheap. I would suggest doing it at the Soul Wars bank since you don't get any randoms there and it's a 1-click bank.
  23. </3 I'm on a mac. So no Bieber for me. :) Me too, I'm kind of disappointed and relieved at the same time I don't have him as my cursor :P
  24. Not particularly interesting updates unfortunately, but I have a load of skill goals in RS at the moment so I can work on those I guess.
  25. Personally I would suggest skipping them, they aren't a particularly great task. However if you do kill them they drop waterskins often enough so that you should be able to manage without a tiara. If you're worried about running out then swap to Lunars and use Humidify every now and then.
