Well, ANZAC day for us Aussies and Kiwis (tomorrow, April 25th) was a wartime failure at Gallipoli, Turkey (WW1). There were lots of stuff-ups and tragic deaths yet there were overriding themes of mateship, courage, hardiness, resolve and inginuity. On that last point, the evacuation from the peninsula took the Turks totally off guard (with rifles timed to fire with water drips, for example) and resulted in next to no deaths from memory. And yeah, we get the day off. :P Thats the whole point about ANZAC day (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps for u lot), that there were no casualties in an amazingly well executed defeat. So public holiday for us tomorrow :thumbsup:

The latest fad at my school is to rebut with "are you?" with the 'are' drawn out. It gets really annoying really quickly, and only proves that you have an iq of a teaspoon

8.5/10 It's funny. Well animated too, although there could be alot more detail, shading etc in the pixel work, and the linework needs cleaning.

I once got into my history teachers login, (nothing fancy, he was sitting next to me, There's really no-one to blame than himself, having 'dog' as his password) And ended up installing CS onto the network drive that students can only see and copy stuff from, not upload. It was amazing, the whole school pretty much played it during computer lab periods, you could open it in a window, but they took it off on the second last day of school last year :wall: I mean, how tight can u be, everyone had been booked into the computer labs just to play it lol... We've gone through countless proxy servers, it's always the boarders that find them, like gate0.us, proxify, surfingincognito etc etc...

I'm guilty. I'm a drummer, and i tap all the time, subconsciously, it really ticks some people off, quite funny really, its even funnier when people start tapping to try and bug me while i'm doing it, and i just do some weirdly complicated rythym and they're just like... woah. Eh, it's been said but i hate people touching ma screen too, on ma laptop, it gets fingerprints really easily, and they're a pain to get off.

Yeh, i'm up for sparkly red with white racing stripes. And you have to get sports bullbar at the front, with all the lights, like the original italian job!

Remoteman is weird because: -He likes confusing people, especially on msn when it's easy to write out long-worded replies and spell check them -He read the latest 3 (4,5,6) harry potter books in two days while camping last week, when he wasn't surfing, because he had no-one to talk to. Thats close to 2000 pages he thinks. -He is one of the smartest guys in his year, but is in the cool group, surfs, and has a gf, unlike the other smart people lol... That statement was soo bigheaded, but true. -Plays a stack of instruments - piano, trumpet, is a bass in the choir/lead role in the musical, drums aswell as a stack of percussion instruments and has played them all for over 4 years. -Unlike most of my friends, he doesn't like techno/rave/whatever and he's only drunken 2 beers in his life on two seperate occasions. he is 16 btw. -He Likes to correct peoples grammatical mistakes. -He designs and creates his friends myspace layouts, and s an awesome laptop that looks completly different to the xp that it's running, which usually freaks people out :P -He wrote this in the 3rd person...

Hey ds! i recognise pretty much all of these heh, gave cc on quite a few. I reackon the black dragon and pegasus ones really show the start of transition from an average pixel sig maker into a great one, the latest horse one and the cats, particularly Merlin, are really good. I remember your thread on the animated dragon one particularly, in the old MM. I look forward to see more of your work :)

I'd love to be able to draw properly, i'm great at technical drawings, architectural stuff, but i'm hopeless at drawing living things or scenes. I would love to have the patience and persistance to do extremely well at school, i have the brain, i just can't be stuffed to use it properly. Lack of interest doesn't help :x

Ouch! that must have really hurt. The only recent injury that i've been a part of was that a guy in ma team broke his wrist playing aussie rules 2 weeks ago. It looked soo disgusting lol. I've never broken a bone either, just fractured my middle finger.

My most memorable dream was while i was at school, walking along the coridoor i give a high five to a friend, and time stops. Like i am walking around and everybody is frozen in time and such. I went around and messed heaps of stuff up around the school and the city. It goes on, funny stories and such until i start to get really lonely. I then go back and fix the wrong that i have done, because of my conscience, and somehow manage to get time going again. I think i ended up hitting the frozen guys hand again or something. I think i'm going to write a book on it.

Lol.... Read the comments on the article, they're hilarious. Very interesting, i'm all for it if it is preventing the loss of human lives or suffering, and it works properly and all.

*slap* Mariokart DS is pretty good, especially good with multiplayer. I've got Metriod Prime Hunters, but it's really long and confusing, hard to get through levels, and their isn't really much of a story line. Good online play though.

Top Gear Daredevil. It was the game that came with my PS2 when i got it. My god it was horrible! There were no races, the only game mode was driving around the different cities and collecting coins in a time limit. *smacks forehead* I sold it to a friend like 2 weeks later for $7.50 lol(thats like 3 pounds). Ripped him off too.

When u mention footy i can refer to either codes of rugby, or AFL. Soccer here, (obviously, we live in the same country lol.) I think Americans also call it soccer...

It's funny that only people that live in Australia think that it is the best, when really, it is one of them. Apart from the government as previously mentioned, it's grand. Beltran your statement is ridiculous, as if u wouldn't be comfortable living in other places, Australia/New Zealand in particular as we are technologically developed, have a decent ecomony considering out size, english speaking, yada yada... But there are plenty of other awesome countries.
