O9 - Extra button: Research - {92780B25-18CC-41C8-B9BE-3C9C571A8263} - C:\PROGRA~1\MI1933~1\OFFICE11\REFIEBAR.DLL Don't really know what this is :-? Better leave it mesays O9 - Extra button: Real.com - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\Shdocvw.dll Got a button pointing at real.com in IE? Never use it? Get rid of the bugger! O9 - Extra button: Messenger - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs[Caution: ExecutableFile] and O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Windows Messenger - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs[Caution: ExecutableFile] Why would you need to have buttons in IE pointing at messenger? What's wrong with your start menu? I says delete these two. Yeah deleting these is hardly going to make your pc faster, but if you don't use them, they're just taking up valuble pixels in your menus.

Do you have any extensions relatedto activeX or audio files? Type about:plugins in your location bar and ensure it has "Windows Media Player Plug-in Dynamic Link Library" in there. Does it have any other plugins that are related to the same video files? (like, an overlap where two programs are trying to play the same file.) Post a complete hijackthis log (Click "save log" and then copy and paste it to here.)

I'm suspectign it's something to do with your router or a proxy server. Is there any info at all in Control Panel -> Internet options -> connections tab. Try Firefox -> Tools -> General -> Connection Settings -> Auto detect connection settings for this network.
-
Well, do you use it? If you use it, keep it, if not, get rid of it :P I've never used it so I don't really much know what it does. From briefly looking around the website the only feature that actually looks useful is the ability to automatically move your bookmarks from pc to pc and keep them up to date.

If all sigs have disappeared then its most likely not his computer settings and they have been disabled by an admin. Lets wait for a mod or admin to come along and give an answer. If you dont want to wait, pm a staff member such as Pyro.I'm pretty sure that isn't possible on a standard phpbb, and what possible purpose would it serve to modify it like this? :-?

Do you see any other images on the boards? What browser, operating system and firewall do you have?
-
Does it connect at all, or only to some pages?
-
Your current security programs are obviously not doing the job. Download Ad-Aware SE, Spybot S&D and AVG antivirus. Update them. Restart your computer in safe mode (mash the f8 key during startup.) Run scans. Restart your pc in safe mode with networking. Go to housecall.trnedmicro.com, run scan. Restart your pc. Post another Hijackthis log.

Okay, looks like you have Allchars installed. While this program does have some legitimate uses, I hope you're not using it's macro features to type things repetitively in Runescape  I'm not sure about AutoCAD Startup Accelerator, couldn't find any definitive info about it :-? Bell is your ISP right? Otherwise, nothing bad :)

Ensure you have the latest release of Firefox (1.0.4, go Help -> About Mozilla Firefox.) Do you get error messages on every single page? Does IE still connect? If so, try Firefox -> File -> Import and select IE's Internet options and see if it will import your connection settings. If not, copy the info from IE -> Tools -> Interet options -> Connections to Firefox -> Tools -> Options -> General -> Connection. Or is it only occasionally, if so try entering about:config in your location bar. Go to network.dns.disableIPv6 and toggle it (double click) to true. Does that fix your problem?

Looks good enough to me. AOL's your ISP right?

If possible hover over them or click more info or something. Then, delete the lot of them.

Look punk, a volunteer will get to you when s/he is ready, not when you're ready. If you wan't tech support immediately, well go pay for it  Ahem.

Hmm try getting a friend to read it for you or translate it using a website. And no chances are there's nothing you can do.

Don't put your laptop on your lap or on carpet. Infact, try sitting it on a desk ontop of two pencils so it has good air flow.

ok ive added it back on. probably my friend edit the main pageThanks :)

Got any spyware? Do the usual scans and whatnot and then post a hijackthis log. Try contacting your ISP, ask them if they've had any problems withtheir servers or anything.
-
Are you on dialup? If so, I believe this is set by your ISP and you can't do anything about it. Read the documentation on your ISP's website for more info.

How big were the games? How big is your hardisk? Try defragging? Did you delete the games through add/remove programs or did you just delete the folders?
-
You seem to have removed the "link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" line from your site :-? Could you please replace it?

BBCodeXtra - does the same as BBCode but it's slightly different. Bookmark Backup - I test extensions for UMO and every now and then you get one that decides to corrupt your profile or whatever. This extension backs up all the vital data. Delicious Delicacies - Restore the legend! Since Phoenix 0.1, through Firebird and up untill July 24, 2004, the Firefox privacy panel contained "Cookies are delicious delicacies" as the description of site cookies. On that day, developer Mconnor removed the text and replaced it with what we see today. On irc, Blake Ross, the original author of the text, exclaimed: [blake2] congratulations mconnor [blake2] you just destroyed a legend! This extension restores the original text. Sorry, erm... getting back to my extensions... Forecastfox - Displays the current weather conditions (so you don't have to look out the window) and very customisable forecasts. Gmail Notifier - Better than Google's own notifier. Greasemonkey - For power users to customise the pages they visit. Mass installer - When you create a new profile, use this extension to install a whole bunch of extensions automatically. Mouse Gestures - quickly navigate in your browser using the mouse. I use it to go back and forward, close tabs, pen new tabs, and go to the enxt and previous tabs. MR Tech's Local Install - Easily install extensions and themes from local files. Platypus - A "UI" for Greasemonkey. Use to customise sites to you see what you want to see. Slim Extension List - Slims it down so it only displays the description for the one you have highlited. WebmailCompose - Makes mailto: links automatically open in a webmail site of your choosing.
