  1. Did you perhaps actually take the time to read the article that was linked to earlier?! And also: Perhaps you too would like to read the article? The dude is employed by an animal management company, the people running the festival probably rang the company up and asked them to come out to deal with the situation.
  2. It'd probably be better as a rune pickaxe for unread and iron for read :P More flashy and noticeable Erm yeah that's what I meant sorry, got confuzzled while I was typing it.
  3. I have some icons that I made like a year ago haha... (For any curious people, they're rune rocks for new posts and empty grey rocks for read, with rune pickaxe for announcement and hammer for sticky... hmm now that I'm just thinking here, could have iron (grey) pickaxe for unread announcement, but I dunno what for unread sticky... Meh anyway it's more just like ideas at the moment... I don't have anything for popular either.)
  4. Vape

    Guild Wars

Just play pvp. or restart the game with another profession, it plays very differently.
  5. er, you mean ? oblivion, you gotta provide us with more information as to what you're trying to do.
  6. Merc, the dude lives in belgium ;) However, it must be noted that the server for these forums is actually in the US :P /offtopic :-?
  7. Son_Of_Judas, you don't have freedom of speech here, this is a private forum. The staff members are perfectly within their rights to censor, delete, edit or do whatever they please with what you might want to say. There was a sticky about this on Scapeboard, but we lost it with the database ages ago :(
  8. Blarg they're all tv shows. You ever seen Billy Connolly? Damnit he's good. Never laughed so hard in my life.
  9. Yeah, they call it the Mozilla Suite (Seamonkey is the project name I think.)
  10. Vape

    CCleaner

Has a good cnet review, probably isn't too bad.
  11. Vape

    Guild Wars

Sure. I think nadril does too, he was posting pics of it ages ago.
  12. But the amount of loading bandwith required for the quick reply box is vastly less than loading an entirley new page complete with emoticons, bbcode, and previous post lists, and the like.Lets look at this topic. 16 replies, but SIXTY views. For an even better example, look at this topic on RS General - the best place for melee training F2P, 37 replies, but over a thousand views.
  13. Actually it would increase badwidth IMO. The number of times people read topics without posting on them is far greater than the amount of people who actually reply.
  14. Excellent idea, I've talked to admins in the past about this at great lengths to no avail. IMHO if one is made, it should be made the default one, and then if users want to change they can use their profile.
  15. The cops say at the end of the movie that they've both been tazed before, presumably he knows what it's like then.
  16. Erm, upload the pic somewhere else? Is this an ongoing thing or has it just happened now? Have you changed anything recently that could affect this? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?
  17. The woman is an absolute fool, officer was perfectly justified imho to tazer her the first time, she could've had a gun under her seat, and the phone was a decoy or maybe she was planning to take off again. Approaching someone in a car the officer ahs no idea what's inside the car and he's completely in the open. He already knows that the person has commited one crime (speeding, ) maybe they were running from a robbery or some other crime. Disobeying a direct order given by a police officer is a crime. The second time was a little more difficult to see. At the end they're discussing if the woman took a swing at his partner. Just because she's moaning doesn't mean she doesn't have full control of her limbs by that time, so maybe she was trying to lash out at the officer(s,) we can't see it's too small and shadowy. It probably wasn't justified but yeah, don't quite know.
  18. Seems to be from a site that provides an oversized signature. Check to make sure that the image you're trying to use is under 300 pixels wide AND under 150 pixels high AND under 30,000 bytes in filesize.
  19. Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall Webhancer. Shutdown, mash the f8 key during startup, select safe mode, run hijackthis, delete the following entries: Edit: I've not had any trouble with deleting O10 entries, I have none listed in a hijackthis log of my own computer... if it stuffs up your internet then you can of course simply use hijackthis to restre the entries back to where they were. 20. For further reference, your extensions are listed in Tools -> Extensions and you can find your Firefox version in Help -> About Mozilla Firefox. If you're not running 1.0.7 you ought to update by the way.
  21. I don't believe that's necessary. Just close Firefox and restart, and use Jagex's Windows Client to play Runescape.
  22. And in addition, what version of Firefox are you running?
  23. You can use wmware to host a vitural windows machine then run the games inside the virtual machine ;)Altho technically it would be windows running the game.so would i be able to run everything that runs on windows with it?i dont care about speed and also do i need anything for me to install linux other than the cds so will i need an adapeter? Depends on what you mean by everything you run on windows. Most things you want to do (word processing, web browsing, instant messaging, multimedia, image editing, etc) will run just fine, or even better, for free. You could always partition your harddrive and run both for a while (I think.)
