basically what the dude above said. Start with dd++ to get the specs on the portal, then switch to whip + att/str prayer. Personally, I like to wear rune plate and legs, but thats just my preference. I also tend to carry full dharoks in my inv just incase I get low on hp, then I can unlease some nice hits on the portal.

if you are going to restore prayer each trip then you will hardly use any doses at 65 prayer. At 69, i can get through dharok, karil and ahrim on my basic prayer level , and if I have any spare then I use it on verac. I wear proselyte while praying so that it lasts for ages as well as a zammy book. As soon as my prayer runs out I switch to wearing full rune and mage guthan and torag. They only occasionally hit high. If I am recharging prayer each trip, then I tend to only use prayer if I have karil in the tunnel - I can safespot the melee dudes, and ahrim isnt too bad at 81 range.

Personally, I take an inv of monks, and runes for bones to peaches. After my food has run out, I use the chain to head downstairs and kill a few crawling hands for the bones. Rinse and repeat. This is cheaper than the pray pots idea, but the above poster is right that you will almost ceratinly get those ranaars back again if you go for the pray pot idea. Proselyte + zammy prayer book + a decent amulet should give you a 20+ prayer bonus. Holy wrench will make those prayer pots go further too.

yeah but remember that to get zammy books, you need to have done horror from the deep quest, which is not easy on 1 def. Personally, I have both defender and zammy book. If I am maging or using prayer in any way, then I tend to use the zammy book. Otherwise, the rune defender gets my vote for having nice attack/def bonuses and + str.

i agree with the above comments. I always try to save my cash as there's always that gutnas spear or something that I might want to save up for. However, I dont see the need to have a massive excess of cash in your account. I spend pretty much all my money on skills - mostly herblore. You could also try investing that money in miscellania. Put 1.5mil into the coffers, get your guys up to 100% and put the workers on maples, flax or coal. After 10 days you will get a lot of each that you can sell to get your money back, + all the nests, tree seeds, herb seeds and gems that you also get.

the most efficient way of doing kalphites is to get the cannon out in the large room of soldiers and use guthans to heal. As I dont have guthans, i use food to heal and cannon them. I normally bring about 3 antipoison doses as the poison immunity they give you is very handy. As you didnt mention a cannon, if I were you I'd take the soldiers on using guthans and super anti poisons. the workers are rubbish xp. I often kill a few at the end of my task if I have got bored or run out of antipoison and cant be bothered to bank.

i cut my oaks from draynor as the bank is very close to the tree.

it just affects how long you can run for. If you saw someone running really fast, it is often due to a lag in the animations. For example, you see people cooking at catherby, and once you have finished cooking you click on the bank. However, your char finishes the animations first, then runs really fast to catch up. Its probably a similar effect.

well to be honest, its not a great trade, but you didnt lose out that badly. Ahrims staff is about 100k. (prob 80k-100k) and laws sell in bulk for 300ea min (300 - 500gp ea ). so at best you lost out on 20k, at worst you lost out on 120k :( For 300 laws the trade would have been more even. But ahrims staff is pretty hard to sell is it's not that useful.

Well the crafting guild is pretty close to fally west bank - loads of cows there. Alternatively, the cows next to the farming patch are close to fally east bank. (prob slightly closer to bank than crafting guild is). Lumby cow pen is pretty close to the bank in the castle, but you do have to go through a few doors to get there. So my recomendation is south east of fally.

well as noone has mentioned it yet, piscatoris fishing colony is the best place for seaweed. The respawns are pretty quick (although there are only 2 of them) and the bank is really near. I dont go anywhere else for my seaweed. You do need to have completed swan song first though.

its pretty annoying not being able to build a big dungeon. I have sacrificed my parlour, a second portal room, and a normal garden to be able to build a few dungon rooms. I cant wait until they increase the amount of rooms allotted by just a couple.

actually i'm pretty sure that it was not a fake. he was fighting the high level shades so as well as being super setted up, he could use the +15 att/str ability of the salve amulet. He had a massive thread going with updates trying to get there. This thread is him hitting a 90. It could be that you have slightly strained something. If you are getting back into sport after a break, your body isnt used to the physical stress that you put it under. If you say that it isnt so bad after a few minutes playing, then you have nothing to worry about. Just make sure that you do a good warm up before you play, and make sure that you do extra stretching for areas that you feel are tight or sore.

its unbelievably pathetic. I cant believe that genuine 'fans' would do such a thing. He loved nature and the environment, and people are just doing the exact opposite of everything that he stood for. I'm pretty outraged by this.

There's so much to choose from. I just accumulate stuff and keep it if it is useful. Things like hammer, chisel, spade, knife, rope, buckets (the basic stuff) i keep in abundance. I always have a full armour set for range, mage and melee as i use all three regularly. I always carry a lot of food and anti poisons for various things. I have a couple of slayer gems (as I do a lof of slaying).Oh and a few dragonfire shields. I guess the rest of my bank is very useful, but I wouldnt say that they are things I couldnt do without. Maybe one click teleports are essential too (ectophial, tele tablets, elf crystals).

^^ what they all said. Basically dont bother with your mage set - it's a waste of useful space. I normally mage in initiate, then swop to rune armour when my prayer runs out. You are really close to 55 slayer - get that and use the magic dart spell - its def worth it as you get a lot of minds and deaths from the chest. your melee, ranged and magic levels are all pretty good. You might want to get your prayer up though. As you will be buying your prayer pots (low herb level) it'll be pretty expensive to do runs as you'll need a lot of prayer pots to get through. Remember - always pray on Karil and Dharok.

took me about 600 tokens to get my first defender. After that, they came relatively quickly, just under 2k tokens i reckon to get rune.

i always find that if you perform a different action just once, you seem to be more likely to get a random. e.g. i often get a random the first swordie i fish or the first tree i chop. Or if I am randomly alching a single item that you get as a drop then i get a random. It's a bit odd like that. I used to get quite a few abyss tele's coming from barrows too (I use house tablets now - never got a random off them).

I'm glad someone made a thread about this, I thought that it was just me! It happened to me when I was attacking shades - I had to check that auto retaliate was on several times before i realised something was up. hope they fix it soon - it's really annoying.
