****Tefda's Last Hurrah**** OVER!!
i remember your good effort in trying to get the temple building world changed. I'll try to be there, can't guarantee it though. Sorry to hear you are leaving, but your reasons are logical enough. Maybe you'll come back next summer when you have a bit of a break...? Don't drop anything too valuable, you'll regret it if you ever decide to return.

Help - Barrows has changed....
To be honest, you dont need to pray against all the brothers. you should be able to mage guthan and torag wearing full rune - they occasionally hit 23, but not enough to worry you. I mage verac with prayer if i have any left, otherwise i dont bother - he doesn't hit hard enough often enough to worry me.

Is it possible for a 3 House Story?
remember when planning your house, that if you want to get a dungeon etc when you get to a high level, you are not going to have space for lots of rooms/gardens. In my house i got rid of my garden (put a formal in its place), asnd am going to scrap my parlour to give me another dungeon room. also remember that some rooms can only have one type of orientation, e.g. the workshop can't have its doors at right angles to each other - they are always opposite

Slayer dart? magic armor?
the point is that with the melee barrows brothers, their magic defense is so bad, you can wear what you like and still have no trouble killing them. Personally, I do my barrows runs in initiate for the prayer bonus, and switch to rune armour once my prayer runs out. The amount of damage that you do with magic dart is dependant on your magic level - it's 10+ your level/10 rounded down. e.g a level 62 mage will do 16 max damage until level 70 (when they will do 17 etc)

Monster's drops (rate)
if the odds for a drop is 1/1000 and u kill 1 isnt the odds 1/999 after that kill, the odds is the same all the time what he said. If a drop is 1 is 1000 then that doesnt mean that you will get something after 1000 kills. Proabability doesnt work like that. If that was the case then people would be complaining to Jagex that they havent got the chain that they deserved after X dust devil kills. Just to give you an indication of how rare dragon items are, I have 100 combat, almost 75 slayer, and have never had a single dragon drop. I'd say that I have killed a good few hundred thousand monsters (at least) that drop dragon items. to be honest, I think that you are wasting your time trying to get a dragon drop, unless you are going for the chain, where the reward makes up for the time spent.

Pyramid Plunder questions
ok i'm no expert on pyramid plunder but Ill do my best: 1) use lock pick - very useful. It works automatically when you click on a door. For some reason i couldnt get the flute to work. I dont know if you have to play a song each time. If that is that case then it is definitely not worth it, as time is of the essence. 2) I think that you have to complete the quest. 3) It depends what you are after, xp or rewards. To get the sceptre, you have to check the central chest and sarcophagus, the urns and stuff just give items. My plan is to balance to two. I check just the chest/sarcophagus in each room before running up to the next floor - dont bother fighting the scarabs/mummies. When I get to the highest floor that I can (which is level 5) I check all the urns first, then finish off with the sarcpohagus and chest. That normally takes me about 5 mins to do. I then drop all my stuff outside that wont sell well (i.e. i keep the gold items and higher) and repeat until my inv is full or i have run out of food/anti's.

29/08/06 - Demons, dragons and giants
nice vids blacksimon. At least you are having more luck doing damage against the black dragons than you did for the KBD lol! I'd love to see the metal dragon piccies....

Can i complete Monkey Madness?
take sharks just incase. He might hit you while you are trying to get to the safe spot - you should have enough space to carry a few spare.

The 7 wonders of runescape
nice work Turk! I'd just suggest adding Pest Control instead of the pyramids. I'm sure that you can come up with a suitably dramatic name for it. :D

worst/most boring skill?
most pointless skill: theiving most boring skill: prob fishing or mining. Theiving comes pretty close too. farming rocks! All those herb seeds - thats mega money. Plus being able to plant your own magics, yews, fruit trees, super poison etc - it's fantastic. firemaking is pretty cool too. I'm up to 80 now, so the shade burning is pretty cool. I make plenty of money off that.

"Everyone is rich" a report about the inaccuracy..
i have max quest points, and have never used guthan or drag on any quest. Infact, I have never owned a barrows set (i have a few assorted bits from my own chest drops) or more than a dragon med helm. Personally, I like to spend my money on construction and herblore, hence why I dont have that much money. As has been said before, there isn't a single quest guide which states that you have to have guthan or full drag to complete it.

All Done, Close Please
no abyss rift i'm afraid. you gotta do it the hard way

Shall i cut mages?
it takes me forever to chop mages at 83 wc. I'd recommend sticking with yews for a while yet. If you are desperate for the cash then go for it. I chop my yews at gnome stronghold, and occasionally chop magics when all the yews have been chopped down. It's a pretty decent spot, and much quieter than seers church.

cooking help!
i was going to say that you burn less on a range than you do on a fire, but as your cooking is high enough to make this not matter, I'd head off to the rogues den in burthorpe

The Haunted Mine Quest
sounds like a good selection. I didnt have too many problems with the quest, but I was about 10 combat higher than you are at the time. Just remember to take a 1-click teleport too in case of problems, but I think that you will be fine.

Need Money - Help!
you could always just do slayer and get clue scrolls from high level slayer monsters. Or just range hellhounds for them. you can get nice stuff from clue scrolls. On average I get about 200-250k worth of items from them. If you get a cav/robin/zammy page/god armour then you have done well. It takes about 30-60 mins+ to get a clue, + another 30 to do it, so you are talking about 60-90 mins each. If you do 4 a day, thats about 1 mil. It's a bit more risky, but you could end up quids in. I did one clue last night and sgot a black cav. Sold it for 1.15 mil. Not bad for an hour's work!

BARROWS ADVICE PLZ
dharok's isnt great for barrows as you are dicing with death if you at low health. The thing that you need most is a good mage level as you will be maging 5 of the 6 brothers. your melee stats are easily good enough and will be ok in the tunnels. You range level needs to be higher too otherwise you will be spending a lot of time on ahrim, which will cost you food or pots. you didnt post your slayer level, which is pretty important. If you are 55 slayer, then that will help enormously, as you can use the magic dart spell. inv: set of melee gear, ranged gear, bow, spade, pray pots, food, tele runes/tablets. wearing: mage gear, ring of life, rune arrows, zammy prayer book If you have a spare slot then I take the holy wrench for extra prayer bonuses.

what to do as a new member
The links posted by Gugge are the ones that you want to check out. Well done for done for doing Lost City on your first day. I'd recommend doing a few hunderd laps of gnome course to get you agil up. If you walk to gnome stronghold, then you will get to explore a lot of the map at the same time. Good quests to do are fishing contest (for the shortcut), druidic ritual, and the plague city quests. Just relax and enjoy yourself. Try to work on a few quests a week, and that will give you targets to level your members skills up too.

barrows/slayer dart/armour
Thanks for comments. I probably didnt make it clear that I know that your mage level determines how high you hit, I was interested in the effects of a magic bonus. I think that I'll stick to using initiate when I pray, and switch to higher defense armour against the ones that I dont pray against.

barrows/slayer dart/armour
I have read a few conflicting reports about magic dart. Some say that your mage level doesnt affect it, others say that it does. Having read several barrows guides, they all suggest having good mage armour to cast it. In the case of the barrows brothers, they are all pures, and I decided to go in in full initiate (for prayer boost) instead of ahrims and didnt notice much difference. Does anyone else have experience with using non-mage gear in barrows and casting slayer dart? I can pack a whopping 97 bonus with ahrims, but if it doesnt count for anything, then maybe I'd be better off with the prayer bonus instead? (p.s. on my second trip with initiate, I got my best chest ever - points to sig)

Bronze dragons lvl 82
dont forget to take a superset to boost your att/def/str against them. You'll find that you dont kill many in one trip at your level though. Good luck!

Impossible to sell torag hammers ???
or you can fix it in your house too. Torags hammers are not really very useful as they are 2 handed and there are better weps out there. Good luck selling them.

Farming at lvl 15
to be honest i have no idea. I've never seen anyone sell tomatoes before as they are just so easy to grow. If you are looking to buy one, just head over to draynor and take them from the respawn in aggie's house (or buy from various shops). If you are looking to sell, dont bother becaause noone will buy them. Just keep them in your bank for farmer payment.
