Desert treasure
yeah this happened exactly to me. I wandered around aimlessly for ages hoping that he would come back again. If you go out of the dungeon and back in again, that might work. I think that I went out of the dungeon and logged too, and he came back the next time that I went in. good luck next time!

Unable to find Damis
I'm a bit confused by what you are saying here. Are you indicating that you are already in the dungeon and can't find him, or that you can;t actually find the dungeon. If the first is the case, then try logging out and coming back into the dungoen - i had him not appear for ages once. If it is the second case, the do what the poster above suggested. There is a hole nearby to go down. Just check out the tip.it quest guide for more info.

best way to 99 smithing?
you could use miscellania to get resources if you are planning on smithing steel. 99 smith will take you a long time though, whats your level now? Personally, I dont agree with the whole making knives idea. Making plate bodies (iron or steel) is much faster smithing as it uses 5 bars at once. Even if you buy your own nats nats, you'll be able to get make a profit. The problem is that smithing is a bit of a money sink. It's hard to make good money and xp fast. For example, smithing cannonballs is a good way to make money as people are always buying, buy it takes forever to smith just one load worth.

my road to all stats 60+ *update 60 rc*
good luck. I went for 60+ stats a while back and made it a few months ago. I'm one level off all 65+ now :-) The toughest stat that you will have to level up is runecrafting imo. I get about 6-8k runecraft xp from tears of guthix minigame, and I spent the rest of the time, trying to level all my lowest skills to above my rc so that it only got the xp from tears. Plant lots of trees for farming xp to get fast levels. you should have alot of money from your high fletching so buying quite a few low level trees seeds should be the way to go for farming (and for buying herbs too). Good luck (and very nice prayer too)

what's best to train on at 43 farming?
right well excluding miscellania and tree seeds, your only bet is to do the rather slow vegetable plot farming. Basically, always plant the best vegetables that you can. Watermelons and sweetcorn are good xp, and herb seeds are good for herblore, and dont give bad xp. Also limps are good for herblore, but the xp isnt that great. Dont bother with bushes unless you really want the product from them. Planting high hops like wildblood are pretty good, and jute fibres are useful for paying the farmer for your sweetcorns. Plant whatever tree seeds you can get though, the xp is pretty fantastic.

A friend in need?.... I am a jerk..
this is a really tough situation. Basically, he should not have put you in that situation. Although it must have pained you to do so, I think that you did the right thing in reporting him. He is effectively funding macroers and other game cheaters who are ruining the game for the rest of us. Hopefully he'll realise his mistake now, having got a temp ban. I'm sure Jagex will be monitoring his acc for unusual transactions and he'll get banned if he tries it again. Maybe he'll start to realise the bigger picture, and the other people he affects in this game.

Abuse Report Ratings (and then some...)
interesting idea. In principle I like it, but what would really happen is that people would start trying to report as much as possible (marginal things that most people would ignore) just to 'level' their report rating. It might end up with the staff having to do more work than before. I agree with you that the idea would be that you could have a negative 'score' for a false report, but I could easily see people playing around with this as another goal to level.

Farming exp via trees
if you want a big pile of tree seeds, use miscellania to get maples. you get nests quite regularly - I got almost 50 nests after 10 days of accumulating my resouces from miscellania. but in answer, trees are by far the best way of getting good farming xp. Watermelons aren't bad either if you get a good yield from your plants. Just to echo what the people said above, make sure you get the farmer to look after them.

Idea for a few new additions to Castle Wars
intersting suggestions. First time that I read this I thought that you were suggesting that people brought their won marble blocks and gold leaf into the game! For a 20 minute game, thats a lot of money to throw away! Also, I dont know about you, but I would never have 25 inv spaces for marbe + 1 for gold leaf. I carry quite a bit of stuff into CW, melee, range and magic armour, + runes, bow lightness boots etc. I think that the idea is a little impractical. My biggest gripe with CW, and the only thing that really needs to be sorted out is the team selection. If you have a few level 100's on one team, then it's easy wins. No high level player is going to want to go on the other team cos it's a loss most of the time and 20 mins wasted.

Unicorn horns
wilderness every time. you can get a load pretty quickly and as they are level 19-21 you should be able to tele escape without too many problems if a pker comes for you.

where do i get limpwurt roots?
hobgoblins on the peninsula near the crafting guild are definitely the best way to get them. Incidentally, if you are using the limps to make strength pots for your tarromins dont bother. Complete the shades of mortton quest and use ash with your tarr's. These give the same xp. Save your limps to make super strength pots when you can get the level. As mentioned above, farming them is pretty good too.

Rcty's Weekly Poll #004 - [Closed]
its a close call between magic and slayer for me. I'd go for magic as it is such a versatile skill - tele's, alchs, enchants, strike spells, teleblock, entangle, ancients etc. There's so much. In fact I think that its the only skill I use every time that I log on!

Full dragon, on a level 27, AMAZING!
firstly, i reckon that the stuff probably was drop traded or something, but there is no way to prove it. Pretty impressive def pure though. To the dude above, you need minimum strength and attack stats to get into the warrior guild. I guess that you could use genie lamps and some quests to get your def up without getting as much hp xp. Pretty impressive though.

2000 total 99 Farming Achieved!
phenomenal - I thought that my skills were pretty good but you put them into the shade! Major respect for the herblore. It's a good point you make about no-one wanting to buy your low level pots. I guess super sets are the exception. I'm only a few levels off 72 herb now - hopefully I can start using the skill to make some money.

what to kill????
I wouldnt bother if I were you. I have been playing for a good year and a half and have never got a dragon drop. If they happen then great. I'd concentrate on levelling slayer, and just hope to get good drops from the monsters on your task. however, if you are set that you are going to kill monsters, metal dragons are the things to kill for d legs and skirt. you'll need a relatively high prayer, prayer pots, and decent combat stats (yours are ok, but a little on the low side). So getting your herblore up to 38 to make pray pots would be handy, as well as good combat stats. Not that many people spend time on the metal dragons as they are a big money drain with the prayer pots and food used to kill them. shadow warriors below the legends guild apparenty drop half shields quite often, but you'll need to do Legends to get to them. you are a bit low level for barrows, but the barrows chest sometimes gives d med helms. Have a look at the bestiary to see which monsters drop d meds and find the lowest one for you to have a go at. Edit: sorry - saw your stats again and your combats are good for barrows and dragon killing, it's just your prayer that is a bit low.

Finally Member! (No, this is the right forum, check inside)
I dont think that you can truly appreciate members until you have tried some of the minigames. Things like pest control, castle wars are fantastic to name but a few. I know that you didnt want me to mention skills but agility is awesome for getting energy back, and is often a quest requirement (and is useful when you are back in f2p). Also, priest in peril is a pretty good quest to do - it allows you to get access to morytania. RC44 is a good target to get - being able to craft your own nats is so handy. Either cheap alching or lots of money. :) just go out and enjoy yourself - there is so much to do, just see what takes your fancy and go for it!

Monster Heads and Fish Odds
killed 150+ kurasks - no head :(. The drop rate is pretty annoying, as it is only a decoration for the house. *sigh* my skill room looks so empty :(

Staking ruined?
actually I'll agree with you on one of your other points. Prayer is really annoying. Using protect from malee/range/magic is just a waste of time. you are just there fighting for two minutes until prayer runs out. I rarely duel, but if I duel one of my friends, then I never switch prayer off, but I'll use the strength/reflexes prayers to help with my duel, never the protect ones. It would be nice if you could switch off just protect prayers for the duel arena.

Rcty's Poll #002 - CLOSED
I'm afraid that I'm going with the majority here. Karil it is. Good defense to everything makes him a tough cookie.

Lowbie advise needed
well done for doing the quest. The level of armour that you can wear is dependent on your defense. Therefore, you will need to get defense to 30 to wear addy armour. Your attack level determines the level of weapons that you can wield. Yor combat level never has any bearing on what you can'cannot wear. Even though you cannot currently wield addy, you can still use the pickaxe to mine with. The only difference is that it will stay in your inventory, so one less spot to put ore in.

Herblore to 45?
if you have the ranaars, make prayer pots. I just empty my attack pots as thay are not particularly useful. Prayer pots sell for abut 7k each, so you would be making some nice money, as well as getting the xp requirement. Besides, 1k guams is a lot of herbs to collect. The way to get herblore up is to always make the best potions that you can for your level. Trying to get a high level using guams is far too time consuming.
