bones to peaches
Ok, I'm working this out as i go along, so it may not be entirely accurate. Teleport theatre - you need 200 points. you get 2.5 per game (including the bonus), and for each gaem you need about 8.5 laws. This work out to about 700 laws (if you are using an air staff). Enchanting - I guess that it depends which spell you are going to cast, and which staff you are going to use. I cast level 3 (or maybe 4) enchant. You'll need about 1.5k cosmics to get the necessary points. Alchemy - I headed in there with about 2k natures, and I think that got me most of the way Graveyard - this is a lot easier when you have already got bones to peaches. It'll cost you a few hundred nats, say 500-1k should do it. so in total, you need about 1k laws, 3k nats, 1.5k cosmics + all the elemental runes. It's not cheap but bones to peaches is worth it, and you will probably be 70+ mage by the time you finish.

So how hard is it to achieve 85+ slayer?
yeah, I have hit the dreaded 1mil xp too morden! Bascailly, I always train using slayer, and the combat levels just come from that. I meant to keep my combat below 90, but you can't help it when training slayer. 85 slayer is rock hard to get, and will take you a long time. Good luck!

barrows tele away?
just to add to the above comment, I used to have an ectophial + runes for slayer dart + runes for a lumby tele in my inv. My strategy was tele to lumby, recharge prayer, ecto tele, run to canafis, bank, run through swamp and repeat. Now, with a house tele tablet, I dont need the ectophial or tele-to-lumby runes so i have extra space which is very handy. And i still have a 1-click teleport for emergencies.

magic bows
good question. I thought the same as you, and came to the same conclusion. Basically, the shortbow is quicker and has the same ranged bonus, so why a longbow? I believe (although I could be wrong) that the longbow is more accurate, and the special is slightly better. The shortbow special is 2 arrows at once but less accuracy; the longbow is 2 shots which definitely hit. The weapon of choice for most is the shortbow, and use the longs for alching purposes.

How do YOU organise your bank?
yeah my bank is money, runes, basic items, wood, planks, quest/random items, herbs, seconds, seeds, useful crops like sweetcorn, mage armour, range armour, barrows, melee armour. I always have melee armour on the bottom as i use it the most, so when I bank my armour I dont have to keep inserting it several lines of bank space. The order in which you put the categories doesnt matter, just so long as you keep your items such as herbs, runes etc in one place so you always know where to find them.

fairy tale - part1
well uncuts are hard to come by. your best bet is to buy off another player as there is no spawn or other place that you can buy them. It'll cost you about 3-5k i reckon

Cockatrice
there is only one location to kill cockatrice, and that is in the slayer dungeon off relekka. If you have done fairy tale part 2, you can get there pretty quickly from canafis. Just use the fairy rings next to the mushroom patch then use the code AJR (i think) to get outside the slayer dungeon. Don't forget your mirror shield. If you havent done the quest then you have to tele to camelot and walk it i'm afriad.

Welcome to RuneScape, you can now edit your stats.
id drop my 80 firemaking down to 1 (pretty easy to get back as i get piles of maples from miscellania) and put it into probably runecrafting as that is by far the hardest skill to level. would only put me at 82 rc though :-( . that xp would get me nicely to 85 slayer though.....

Farm on Manage Thy Kingdom?
well i have used miscellania a few times for farming. Sometimes i do 100% maples and 50% farm. Basically, this way you get a ton of seeds, guaranteed plenty of tree seeds, but really the only reason that I use farm option is to get sweetcorn, watermelon or limps. you still dont get many as the linked post (above) suggests, but they are hard to come by so I put up with the rest of the junk that you normally get. Piece of advice: dont do farming if you dont have 2-3 lines of bank space spare. Chatted to a few people who couldnt collect their resources due to lack of bank space.

farming
the best place to get seeds is miscellania. I normally dump a mil or so into there with 10 workers on trees and 5 on farming. After a few days at 100%, you get pile of nests. I got 50ish after 10 days a month or two back - still havent go round to planting them all yet. Or you could buy them. Apparently, the giant mole under falador drops nests which contains lots of different farming seeds (including tree seeds). also, to the poster above: where can you buy/pick sweetcorn from then?

[ Poll ] Obby Sheild Or Rune Defender?
i use obby more than defender for fighting mosters as the def bonus is nice. It's only when I'm up against something pretty easy that I use the defender. So obby it is.

a new look...
tricky one! dont you need a def requirement to wear dhide (to the above poster). Try a pirate outfit, full lunar (if you can do the quest), something from the canafis clothes shop. I think that a prayer book would look good, but you might struggle against the dagannoths in the horror from the deep quest.

Currently going for 65 slayer
it also depends which slayer master you go to. I do lost city assignments. these are good because you dont get crocodiles, and because the assignments are generally longer. I get 10-15k slayer xp a trip for most tasks :)

Do you play Warcraft III? ( not WoW ! )
I love WC3. I used to just play the custom games, like hero maze, 2rivers 6v6, pyramid escape, and dota. I would have to say that dota was by far my favourite but you would have to play 10 games just to get a good balanced game. I disliked the newer versions with more hero's etc, as some of them were ridiculously unbalanced. I once had a cracking game where were were both down just just the main tree and it was a race to decide who could destroy it first. More recently though I just play the ladder games. I prefer these as they tend not to be unbalanced like many of the custom games. I always play human - mk+pal combination with tanks ftw! :) cant play anymore at the moment as a) my graphics card isn't good enough (bought a new one but not installed it yet), B) ny net connection isn't particularly great so it's easier to play runescape. Nothing worse than lagging out in the middle of a game.

Shades Profit Rates
tricky question to answer. I'd say that by the time that you can burn asyn shades using yew pyres, then it starts to become profitable. Level 80 fm gives very good rewards, I got 3 fine cloth and about 100k worth of alched items by burning 30 fiyr shades on magic logs. Burning asyn shades is not too bad - you will get a lot of addy items though, but a decent selection of runes.

Fishing and cooking
Firstly, you have to do Swan Song quest to fish monkfish. Secondly, Catherby is a pretty decent spot for fishing. Once you can get into the fishing guild go there. I used to fish my lobbies there, cook them on the way to the bank and deposit. I preferred lobbies to the shilo method (although shilo is faster xp) because of the monetary value, and usefulness for training that lobbies have. Whatever method you choose, getting to 76 will take a while. Even once you have got there sharks are apparently very slow to fish.

Ranged Help ---- Important!!!
well with that amount of arrows you should have no trouble getting to 70. A few spots that are pretty good are fire giants in waterfall dungeon, bloodvelds in taverley dungeon or ogres in lathas training camp. I guess it depends what trade off you want to make for speed, drops etc. Ogres will be the quickest to get to 70, bloodvelds the slowest. Fires have good drops such as rune arrows, rune scimmy, etc but bloodvelds drop level 3 clues, so take your pick. Good luck!

New Way To Report Abuse! *with all new Support List* 8/10/06
there have been similar threads on this for an "examine player" option. Although I think that this idea is actually a better use for a 4th right click option, it would just end up clogging up the main screen. It's pretty hard trying to find someone at a bank when there are a lot of people standing on the same spot, and this is even worse trading on world 2. Having the extra option would lead to a lot of frustration on busy/laggy worlds, with the report screen popping up all the time, and you might not even get all the people on that spot. nice idea, and I can see why it makes sense, but I dont think that it will be implemented.

Slayer help!
I think that there is a minimum slayer requirement for the lost city slayer master. Get a slayer gem and go to whoever the face is that comes up on the screen. You are most likely to get your assignments from vannaka in edgeville, you'll have to put up with killing crocodiles and other annoying assignments until you can get to the lost city master. As the dude above said, get your range up - it's very useful for fire giants/elves tasks.

Battlestaff of Fire
yeah i did it on 4 fire staffs, and I wish that I had that 160k back. You can get it enchanted by thormac the sorceror south of camelot once you have completed the scorpion catcher quest. But as there are better weapons out there, it is not really worth getting it enchanted as you are most likely going to be using your staff for magic, and therefore the strength bonus is not necessary. You are more likely to be training melee with a d long, rune scimmy, d baxe etc, so it is really not worth it.

Daily Posts
yup sligo is right, i voted in that poll. I voted for the 2-monthly updates, slightly bigger incontent but not as often. The problem with regular updates is that Jagex are committed to keeping to their behind the scenes updates that they do at the beginning of the month, and either bring things out too early, or have to delay things while they test them further. To be honest, I'd rather have updates every 2-3 weeks, with a lot more content that has been tested more. Generally I like the updates that they do. I love the quests most, I wish there was a new quest every week :)

Teak trees?
best spot is castle wars. breing a ring of duelling, run south then very far west of CW, and there is a sole teak tree there. Chop 27, tele to CW and repeat. The tree respawns pretty fast too.
