  1. what i do is put 1.5 mil in my coffers. That way, it takes 75k a day for 10 days. Then I simply withdraw the excess 750k after 10 days and collect my goodies.
  2. this sounds like a corking idea. Personally, I find that it takes long enough to make enough oak larders for my next con level. I am a fan more of speed than cost (although the expense of levelling is pretty annoying). However, I might try using this to mix and match my con levelling so that it isnt so boring. The addition of smithing xp is a real incentive too. I'll try using this method to try and haul myself up to 75 con (73 at the mo) and see how I feel about it. If I pick up a smithing level too along the way, then all the better (69 smith - not far to go until i can start smithing addy items)
  3. well if you dont care about drops, why not try dharoking at ape atoll. Its pretty good xp there. You could always level slayer and melee any assignment that you get (although this is not necessarily the fastest xp). You could camp out at the dusties for a while. with B2P you would not need to bring any food. bring a chisel to cut those gems and drop em again, runes for alch and B2P and you are set. Should be able to kill 250ish before you have an inv of worthwhile items that you need to bank. You might even get lucky with a chain.
  4. i'm not a pker, but i know that a lot of pkers/stakers like to have high str to try and work the combat levels in their favour. Personally, I am a fan of levelling all three equally, as they are all very useful, but that's just my preference.
  5. Well I love the lunar set for slaying, but i tend to just stick with the original set, as I just like the high alch option too much. So my answer is normal magics for all apart from Pking (i dont PK, but I'd use ancients), slayer (I'll use lunar if I decide to do lots of missions at a time). If I am rich enough, I might use ancients in CW too. Incidentally, there are bones to peaches tablets. Unfortunately, you need the demon lectern to make them, whereas most people make eagle lecterns to make tele-to-house tablets.
  6. yup well spotted ^^ :)
  7. looks like your calculus teacher was having a bit of a laugh with you there. Shame that you spent a long time trying to prove it. To answer the question above: this is a triangle with zero area! Here's one to get your revenge on your calculus teacher with: Prove that 1=2!! (there is a a flaw in this, see if you can figure it out) A=B AB=BB AB-AA=BB-AA A(B-A)=(B-A)(B+A) A=B+A as A=B, then A=2A, therefore 1=2! :D
  8. you should be able to do it no problem at all. You can safespot the dude with mage or range so you should be fine. remember if you use mage, you cannot use a staff, as those are not allowed on entrana.
  9. i long for bronze dragon assignments. I used to burthorpe them , but they are really easy to kill. On Topic: I got dusties when i was level 65 slayer so they are possible. I get them pretty rarely now as at level 75 slayer, there are plenty more monsters to choose from. Just keep on with the assingments, you'll eventually get a nice task :)
  10. Like that'll ever happen... Ever. Just keep doing clues - I've had both from level 3 clues, although i have done a LOT of clues in my time. They do turn up though - keep the faith!
  11. you really really need to work on your skills. Having a whip is all very nice, but you dont have a single skill that I would class as a money maker. Here are a few suggestions: mine pure ess - selkling at 100ea is a good money maker pick flax and/ or make bs run laws on w66 and sell them for 300-500 ea. fish lobbies and sell raw. if you get to 76, then fish sharks and sell for profit. range hellhounds for level 3 clues - sell whatever you get. You never know, you might get lucky with a Robin or black cav.
  12. you could try stronghold of security. There are plenty on monsters there that would be good at your level.

my max is about 140 i think, normally average 120ish with max QP. Tears can be incredibly frustrating though. i hate it when the walls change really quickly so you spend ages just dashing between different walls.
  14. well ahrims is pretty good armour wise, but noone uses the staff, hence why it is so cheap. Most people opt for a slayer staff or elemental staff as they allow auto casts of nice spells like slayer dart (in the first case) or of the elemental spells (in the second). Other armours are full mystic and infinity, but ahrims is better than both of those methinks. cape: god cape gives good mage att + def boots: inf boots are better than mystic if i recall by 1 point ring: there is a mage ring that you get from dagannoths (called seers ring i think) that gives mage bonus left hand: god books are good for this. zammy god book gives mage offense, guthix mage defense and sara gives a bit of both. my setup is normally: ahrims hood, robe, bottom, zammy cape, slayer staff, zammy prayer book, mystic boots and I think that it gives me a magic bonus of +100 ish (maybe 105 can't remember).
  15. ice gauntlets you get from the ice queen below white wolf mountain (colour whiteish). Klanks gauntlets are pretty nice - you get them from the underground pass quest (colour blackish). The gauntlets from family crest can be either cooking (blue-white), goldsmithing (yellow) or chaos (dunno - never got them). The really quality gloves are the ones from the culinaromancer's chest in lumby basement. You can buy better and better ones depending on how far you have got with the quest.
  16. i'd go with mossies or trolls. Every time I am on assignment on trolls, I normally get one or more. Also, elves drop a lot of herb seeds, although maybe it is just my luck that i seem to get a lot of toadflax and irit seeds from them for some reason.
  17. you to echo what a poster said earlier: the secret is not just making the ticket on time, it's getting back to the middle (or as close as) before the ticket changes. If you just get a ticket in one of the corners, there is a good chance you won't make your next one. I worked out that in the time that it takes the arrow to change, you can do 6 or 7 obstacles (some are faster than others). Getting from one corner to the other is almost impossible. It really bugs me when i see people standing around in one of the corners waiting for the arrows to move. Their loss. very nice guide btw. I use ape atoll all the time now, having got 2k ticks in the arena. I started agil arena at 45 agility, and went for my first 1k ticks straight away. went from 56-66ish, which was very nice.
  18. I don't know how you all approach potentially tricky situations, but I tend to have a mental checklist for most things. For example, going to barrows: I check that I have all the right runes, armours, arrows, pots, spade etc. This always leaves exactly the same amount of space each time for food. If I have too many spaces then I know that I have forgotton something, so this works as a kind of failsafe device. Similarly, I take care when going to the wild: which items do i want to protect, drop etc in case of getting pked. For most things in RS, I have this strategy, and generally it has worked pretty well. But I digress. I was in Lost City last night, thinking that I could do with killing a few bronze dragons for the bones before I headed off to bed, maybe even getting lucky with a drop. So my mental checklist kicked in: pretty straightforward - armour, super set, pots. So there I was in LC with full rune, dmed, rune boots, obby shield, glory, ROW, whip, with my inv nicely stacked up with food and pots. However, having not managed to get to the dragons several times, I have a second checklist. 3 unusual items. Item 1: 875 coins to pay Saniboch Item 2: axe for the vines in the dungeon Item 3: ... It'll come to me I'm sure. So I glory tele to Karamja. This is useful because I can stop off at Tzharr to pick anything up that I have forgotton. And indeed I have. Yup, it's my antifire potions - very handy for making my food last longer. (last time i managed 20+ dragon bones just on monkfish and and base prayer level). Glad I remembered that. So I was wandering down to the bronzies, thinking about all those barrows twins that I had killed pointlessly (good thread Leesters) and headed off to the dragons. BANG *33* "what the...?" I start to run, realising in horror my muppetry. *43* Meh, I've already made it to the black demons in the next room. I hasitly turn prayer on to protect my precious 5 hp. Phew! *5* Noooo! A trailing firebreath caught up with me and robbed my of my last few hp. *sigh*. Hello Fally. The other person training on bronzies didnt even get a chance to insult me for my stupidity, but got a pretty tasty death pile off me nonetheless. Lesson learnt the hard way. Perhaps next time I have a check list I'll actually try to remember the items, not just some vague cryptic clue as to what I need. At least I kept my whip. :)

fraid not, but i can tell you that my max hit is 19 at 80 ranged. I have hit a 20 with the new prayers. Basically, they hit better than rune for 8/10 charges. Remember that a crystal bow is very expensive to maintain until you have recharged it 5 times.
  20. guards then knights I'd suggest. I really hate theiving - it's a very frustrating skill to level. Personally, I try to mix it up a bit - I do a bit of pyramid, a bit of wall safe, but mostly I do knights.

no i'm pretty sure that you you have to speak to daero to get back to ape atoll i'm afraid.

well i only use monkey course so i cant really speculate on the others. At 67 agil i still went to brimhaven and got myself 1k ticks. It was really irritating, but it did mean that by the time i did the monkey course i hardly ever failed. However, I dont think that is a particularly great recommendation as the xp is so slow. I'd try the werewolf course for a bit and see how you find that. If you keep falling on the slide then stick with the wildy course until you get to about level 65+. then you will have more joy with the course.
  23. First, here's a bit of free advice: try to construct your sentences better. People will be a lot more willing to help you if you ask in a clear understandable way. To upload an avatar (picture next to your name) go into the 'Profile' section of the forums (the same place that you wrote your sig). There is an 'Upload Avatar' option near the bottom of the page. Simply upload an image from your computer that is within the necessary size limitations and you should have it.
  24. i'm your level, and bronze dragons are pretty easy to kill. Basically, the kind of monsters that you want to be fighting are the kind that the lost city slayer master gives you. you just need to level your slayer first to be able lto get her to give you tasks.
  25. rft replied to Viktor's topic in Help and Advice
guards, al kharid warriors - those kind of things are pretty good to train on at your level. However, I'll recommend what I did, and that is to level slayer. Go to the burthorpe master and get some tasks, maybe head over to the canafis master once you feel confident enough. This will give you a good range of monsters to kill, all with their different drops. Personally, I get bored killing the same thing again and again - I hate experiments as they dont drop anything except bones. Also, there are quite a few quests which give combat xp as a reward - look them up too.
