Post one above mine. Monks are underpowered, I know. THey aren't really a class of attack. Yes, the spear is used withing a melee range. As in getting up close and personal with your enemy. Thats what I call melee. And it its better against mage then range, it screws with the triangle, which is the basis of pvp combat.

Dude, then when you rejoin members (assuming you do) you could have the hooded cape as 1 item, instead of buying the hood and cape seperately. thats actually so cool. I'd kill for that.

When you use a melee range weapon, I consider it melee. And as you just said, great protection to all classes. Except monks. Monks rule.

Nah, we've got holiday items for that. Bunny ears, scythes, chickens, scarfs and toques. No need to make a whole set load of capes to do the same thing.

I did read your post, and I see you say its for pking, but perhaps Jagex should actually do something with the wild, the last thing they did was add a monster in it. They don't seem too hurried to introduce much for pking related gear, let alone pking exclusive gear. Yes, the armour should be powerful, but its too powerful for the weapons that currently exist. I think weapons should be an entire 10 levels higher than the highest level of armour, because its far too easy to run away and avoid death entirely as it is. If you think pking is dead now, just wait till theres warriors up there that have armour more than capable of resisting entangles and ice ancients. No one would have to worry about not escaping from the wild. You can't get 'not limit yourself' to the triangle just because you don't want to. It is the basis of the entire pvp combat system. It can't be revamped, people would get miffed. It only makes sense for warrior>ranger>mage>warrior. The best melee armour was metal, swords cut through leather, leather doesn't conduct, arrows pierce robes, robes allow flow of magic, metal conducts magic. It just makes sense that way. Whoa whoa whoa, I'm not Jagex? Oh, I guess I don't have a gold crown when I talk. Too bad. I'm just saying, if you want to suggest something, try suggesting something within reason. I'm aware none of these suggestions will ever be implemented, except for fixing what already exists, but we post here anyways.

...Nah.... I think it's good as it is. By giving exclusive stuff to people that do random recieving activities more often, it would make lots of people very angry. As randoms are random, some people never get them. The random events that only give 3 pieces of clothes right now should give emotes as well, in my opinion. Not some exclusive spells. Besides, any mime spell would obviously create a temporary invisible wall infront of where you cast it. Try getting to me now...

Overpower, pl0x? I don't like the team element of the gun, nor do I like guns in general. The gun would only prove useful in the wild, and massive clans would just use it whilst standing in a pile. It can do too much together, and takes too long on its own. Lame. I'm sorry, but I just really dislike it. As for the armour, even with armour for the other classes, it screws the combat triangle. It doesn't matter that you don't like the triange, it exists for a reason. Your armour (when taken as a whole set, when it actuallly makes a difference to rune) actually reverses the combat triangle. How does that make sense? When everyone gets their lame super powered armour set, battles will rage on for a century, and running from the battle will mean a sure escape. Adding quests worthy of #100 scale just for some overpowered player submitted armour seems to be asking for a bit much, does it not? And how do you plan on cramming 3 spec bars into the attack styles page? I do like the sound of that 30% chance of 1 hitting... oh wait, that might just be because its so insanely overpowered, it outstrips any weapon that can, or will ever be created for runescape. A fire cape will become a symbol of nothing, and suddenly the 702 Jad doesn't seem so challenging, make it to him 3 times, you're guarenteed a shiny new cape. Over all, I think they're both overpowered in the right circumstances, and plus, Jagex isn't going to take user submitted ideas for newbie armour, let alone the 1337357 gear to ever show itself in rs.

You shame the glory of Guthix. If anything, the armour should boost the gods respective powers (Holy, Unholy, Balance) Def, att, and both.

No way, hose. Thats right, hose. Like, a fire hose. Banks, yes. We can handle them, but organisation would be a plus. In trade chat, good idea, but even an 'add friend' of the person you're trading with could benefit much. Bombs for rs would be far too lame. Instead, why not have a potion (herblore update, pl0x?) that you can douse your weapon with, and then light it on fire for a certain amount of combat time (Barrows degrade rate) The bonus would work somewhat like poison, but only on a per hit basis. Better the oil, higher the fm level to light. Theiving, I dunno. Teamwork in rs is for noobs. Organization would be a challenge, and bank heists? Would you rob actual players banks? Or just get some geepees?

Not gonna happen. For starters, you use the names of characters, or something, in your item names. All named items would have to come from some quest or something. Secondly, Jagex is never going to create a hoard of new monsters just because they were requested by some fan. Plus, a whole freaking ton of the items seem waaay overpowered.

I was overjoyed with the zombie gear, and I have spent hours just wandering about using my new emotes. how dare you make all the p2pers look farther down their noses at us, because you are unwilling to make do with what you get. Sure, I love free updates as much as the next guy, probably a fair bit more, but when we finally get something, you have the nerve to run to a forum and complain about how we don't get any new skills? Do you have any idea hard it is for Jagex to make a brand new skill? Members deserve to have an infinite amount more stuff than us, they pay for it, and we get it all for free. I have made comments about wanting more for f2p, but when you moan and whine right after we get something, it appals me. It seems after a long period of repetitive action followed by a spell or use of an item gets random events.

Any tips on getting the items a wee bit faster? I've buried over 10k bones, and I haven't gotten a single gravedigger. I got two shades, a zombie, two pirates, and a MoM, and thats it.

It would be a bad idea. People with full drag on would have the attack style page coated with specs, and wouldn't know which was for what. Besides, do we really need more specials? Theres tons already. THey should finish the last of the drag weps, and then leave dragon alone.

Are you saying they'll have a translater for every language built into the game? You do know there are no 'opposite' languages, so anyone speaking english would show as speaking the opposite (as you're saying, german)... right? That would require massive amounts of memory, and would not work, due to slang, misspelling, and other problems. The idea of 'language servers' however, is smiple. THe servers would be placed in a non english country, and jagex would encourage non english speaking people to use these servers. English speaking people would avoid them due to confusion, and the non english speaking players would have more ease communicating.

What?!? Make up your mind... Why would we need a weapon better than a whip? Or, as you say, equal to the whip, but with way higher requirements? It would only be a status symbol, and no-one would use it if it costed more than a whip and was only equally effective. Try thinking your ideas through a bit better next time...

Lessers, period. First off, they'd block each other trying to get you, and second of all, multicombat monters only multi attack you if you... A) aren't already under attack, or B) are triggered to attack you. Like the Al Khirad guards. Go to greaters, you'll only get attacked by one at a time.

Nah, Jagex should try blocking only the actual words for just a while, then start blocking the most commonly bypassed ones. I can't see saying "Selling Steel Bars, 550 each" as offensive, but it comes out as "Selling Steel B*******0 each". Why I would try to sell my Steel rear end is beyond me. Wow, that's sig worthy. Anywho, swears should remain blocked, I don't care how 'mature' you think rs players are, most of them are juvenilles, and take runescape vocab as real. You have no idea how many times I've heard kids say "lawl" (as in lol) in public.

Um... thats a drop? Or do you simply want it to be a drop? What kind of weapon trains magic and range at once? They're completely different classes. Is level 50 range and mage high levels to you? I must be a god then, with my oh-so-low 74 range and 73 magic. Way to complicated to be a run of the mill drop, not a quest reward.

Nah, I disagree. A smoke staff would mean all training mages would need is the missile rune, and that would mean cheap as free effortless mage training for members only. What exactly are the new armour pieces for? Are they melee? Magic? Range? A brand spanking new monster with a level like 350 will never be implemented due to a players idea, and new armour to boot is extremely unlikely. Players can only hope to fix jagex's miscomings, not add to their existing game. I've been hoping for a holiday walk style for ages. Who wouldn't like to walk like we could skip with those easter baskets?
