Gratz on 90 fishing, but can I ask how you have a giant pouch at 68 Runecrafting :?

Just so everybody knows, this topic isn't meant for people to flame F2P, I noticed a lot of people were discussing this in other topics and decided to make a thread for it. Anyway, personally I do think F2P players should be able to enjoy the events, but I do think members should get an extra something. The events are kind of like a thanks for keeping on playing in my eyes, so I think members should get more or a reward since they ensure Jagex can keep running. As for the polls, I don't think they should be used for things like holiday events, it really does ruin the surprise. Really, they should be used to decide upon things we're already expecting (like which quest storyline should they continue next) otherwise it can ruin the surprise and lead to pointless speculation.

Jagex have said they just about break even on F2P, meaning they either make a small amount of money, or lose a little.

Well, what do you think about F2P having a say as to the content. I remember a lot of people saw the introduction of the guaranteed content polls as Jagex making another incentive to become a member, which was why this one seems to strange to me.

Well, recently there's been a lot of moaning about the grim reaper hood that was decided by the community in a gauranteed content poll that was open to all players. Many people have argued that although this is the 20 something'th hood in the game it's the first hood for Free to Play, if it had just been members who could've voted would the outcome have been any different? Jagex have said they really only break even with the money the spend and make on F2P servers, so I want the opinion of both paying members and those who are on F2P servers: Members, do you think it's fair that F2P get to share the events with you despite the fact it's funded by your membership fees, and do you think they should get a say in the content made? F2P'ers, do you think you deserve the content as well as a say in what it is? Note: this thread is only for discussing the most recent event and the gauranteed content poll, I don't want to have a flame war erupt over bankspace or whatever, and please respect each others opinions.

People in F2P were satisfied. And considering the poll was open to everyone, it makes a bit of sense. 1/4 of population were satisfied, while 3/4 weren't. Truly unfair :roll:. Stop trying to twist statistics. 75% of the voters would have preferred a different item, for all you know 69% of those people could have had the hood as their second choice. You just badly contradicted yourself there. Look up the 10k ranked person for fletching (well into the 99s) Look up the 10k ranked person for mining; (somewhere around the 90ish mark) Go for rcing, i think its only high 70's to break into the top 10k players? I no its well bellow 81... (as im ranked just outside the top 4k with my rcing..) So your saying that because they got a 99 we should respect them? Yet someone who is equally high ranked in say mining or rc we dont go around prasing. unless your sugesting that every 80+ rcer and 90+ miner you see we should bow down to? Like you expect me to for your poxy lil cape? It's needless to say anoying. Just because they dont hve a cape doesnt mean that i should stop my everyday business and say wtf omg your my hero you afked a skill and now have a cape, your s0 733t... Poor argument. So my construction level (87) deserves as much respect as a level 94 runecrafter just because it's a unpopular skill? I personally don't respect fletching or cooking capes, however I can depending on the reason, if you got it because you like the skill then I respect that and I respect you as a player, the cape however I do not respect.

"24730th to 99 Fletching, 6 October 2007!" People generally don't respect the cooking and fletching capes as their easy 99's in comparison to other skills. I have a great amount of respect for people with capes like runecrafting and construction.

Sounds like he bought the account It fits, he's cleaning out the junk the seller left and wants free stuff because he's not sure how to use his stats. no way to know for sure, but that's what it sounds like to me.

Interesting. I might just try it though I have not been near that area in quite a while. Is there any fairy ring or shortcut nearby? If you just cut the limestones one by one (no cut x) and immediately sell back to store, that's around 25k craft xp per hour. Not too great and if you start banking them, it'll be even slower. Also for construction they might be cheap, but dirty slow and boring xp. Yes it's cheap but remember that it's so slow that it would be faster and easier just to get the money for dhides and oak planks. Using limestone instead of oak planks is only 3 times as slow, and getting the 80m? for 99 construction takes much much longer then the limestone You use 3 limestone a time (maybe two) whereas oak planks you can use 10 at a time with dungeon door or 8 with larders. (spiral staircases need planks as well as limestone bricks)

You have an excellent point, I think they may well be working on one, no doubt they'll want to spend more time on it though and wait for a month where that can get away as being their big update.

Put to the point the rare drops are only good to alk? I wouldn't be surprised if we see the price jump and drop a few k constantly now it's seemingly worth alk'ing half shield drops...
