  1. I remember when I was little, I used to have stairs in my house, and I would slide down them on my stomach. :( The carpet burn sucked, but it was fun for awhile! :P
  2. Well sometimes I sound like a girl especially if talking in a low voice. Nothing to be ashamed of really. :-w I'm not really ashamed of it. My boyfriend likes it. ^_^ But, it does get annoying being made fun of for it.

Well, it is free speech, but I can understand why they would want to question the girl. However, her parents should have been with her for the questioning, and they shouldn't have been "mean" to her. I don't think she knew that it was a federal offense and was just trying to be "cool" by hating Bush.
  4. I have a deep voice for a girl. I am often made fun of because of it.
  5. I'm used to working in a very noisy environment. My family owns close to 20 dogs who are all in the backyard outside and they bark constantly. My mom and my sister are the two loudest people I've ever met, and my dad yells all the time when he's home. I bet I could do homework through nuclear holocaust.
  6. I also have promised myself that I will never work in fast food. My first job was when I was 12 or 11. I worked during the summer at the concession stand on the baseball field. Made a good bit of money for my age. My second and current job is working at a local photographer's place. I do picture touchups and effects in Photoshop for him. I work on yearbook pictures, Senior pictures, family photos, stuff like that. The pay is good and the job isn't that hard. :D
  7. Sounds incredibly fun! :P
  8. Nothing unlucky has happened to me today. Same old, same old... But, the day's not over... yet! \
  9. No hills around here, sadly. :(
  10. I'm a quarter Irish, some English, and some Native American. :)
  11. Lol. Some friends of mine did that last year, except it was green smoke. :P And, we had several people drop stink bombs in the hallways throughout the year. God, those things smell horrible! Friends of mine have also done things that probably wouldn't be appropriate to talk about here. Good times... Good times...
  12. A friend of mine had his cell phone stolen about a week ago. :( It sucks. I've never really had anything valuable stolen from me. I tend to be paranoid about those kinds of things.
  13. Hmmm... Maybe you should try talking to your parents a little more about it? See if they can't talk to the school officials about it? Basically if they just say,"That's not the way we do things in our household." Then you might have a possibility of getting out of it. Either that, you can just sit there and listen to the guy preach. Maybe you could bring a book to church? Read? Try to get ahead or catch up on your studies while he's preaching? I honestly don't like to go to church, because I have the same problem as you. I always find that not only the preacher, but the people who attend the church to be too condescending and preachy myself. And I'm not Christian. But, I go out of respect to my friends who are, and sometimes to my family who are. I sit there and listen to what the preacher has to say, and I find it interesting. It can be a good learning opportunity about other points of view. However, I only go once in a blue moon and you go every week. So, I can see how you would be fed up with it.
  14. I have often tried searching for other bands like Tool to no avail. I've simply come to the conclusion that there is nothing like Tool.

I like everything up to Subliminal Verses. Most of their older stuff is good, and I'm not afraid to say that I'm a fan. I've seen them live and they gave a VERY good show in my opinion. I even talked to Corey Taylor very very briefly and he seemed like a nice enough guy. They're probably one of the best bands I have seen live, right below Slayer. Though, now I've kinda lost track of their music and I don't know if they have another album out right now. I should probably look them up.
  16. Oh my. I heard about this. :( Poor guy. My condolences to his friends and family.
  17. Oh wow... It's very beautiful. I'd love to go there. ^_^ I'll make a note to myself to visit there one day.
  18. Just like Viktor said, I think that the mother simply didn't see her child wave at you first and just saw you wave at the kid. In that case, I guess she could have gotten paranoid about it. Don't read too much into it.

Well, I'm from Arkansas, and it was around 45 this morning. They're saying it's going to be around 35 tonight and tomorrow. Plus, it's supposed to rain, maybe it will get cold enough for some freezing rain. I love the Winter. It makes me feel so energetic and happy. ^_^
  20. When I was a kid, I lived near this road that was on a hill. One time, it stormed really bad and I went outside and the bottom of the hill had flooded. This car came driving by a few seconds later, not seeing the water, and drove into it. It was terrible. My dad helped them out of the car, and they stayed with one of our neighbors untiil the storm was over. Their car was ruined. :( EDIT: I love the rain too, Bubsa. It's so nice... Especially going out and playing in it. Makes me feel like I'm 6 years old again. :P
  21. . How small was this kid lol? Hmm.. me? Nothing too crazy I guess  :( . Lol. He's a little short, skinny guy. We managed to get him in there.
  22. Just politely refuse to go. I know you don't want to look like a douchebag, but if it's bothering you that much, have a talk with whoever is in charge of these church trips.
  23. That sounds really dangerous, dude. it was like a table spoon of alcohol.. not that much :XD: :P Heh. That's good.
  24. That sounds really dangerous, dude.
  25. That's so cute... ^_^ My nickname for my brother is "Bubby". I've been calling him that ever since I can remember. People just really call me Kayla. Sometimes they'll call me kissypoo though. :-w
