Lionheart, you are so sweet! ^_^ Glad to see I have alot of friends on here! (Yes, that includes you Fad! ^_^) I had an excellent day. Got some money from my parents and my grandmother, as well as Harvest Moon DS from my boyfriend and a shirt from another friend. (I love the Harvest Moon games.) And here's a picture of my birthday rice ball! I'd already taken a bite out of it when this picture was taken. :P

That today is my birthday! :D I'm 17 today! I'm about to head off to school. I just hope I have a good day. ^_^

Wow. On a scale of 1-10, that post scored 10 under emoness. Meh. Our schools are alright. I agree that they are under funded. My mom is a teacher and she is SEVERELY overworked and underpaid. More people need to know what teachers have to go through. My school has a high dropout rate, and a pretty bad drug problem, but there are some extremely smart people there as well. I love my school. I think I learn alot, and I think that I will be prepared for my future with the education that I'm getting. I think that my school is preparing me with all the tools I'll need to pursue my dreams. I think that's what really matters. Of course, some of life's most important lessons aren't even taught in school.

I was told the other day by a friend of mine that I'm the most foul-mouthed person they know. Sure you want to know some of my favorite words? :P

Yeah! You should definitely take the SAT. It would give you a good idea of where you stand academically, and let you know what you need to prepare for.

I'm really confused. Why do some of you think that it shouldn't be celebrated? Some of you really seem to hate the fact that the day is celebrated. Why? I'm American. Sorry if this is an ignorant question.

To me, the words, "I love you" simply means, "I care deeply for you." And you can care for someone in many different ways. Either way, I don't think it's up to someone on the outside of a relationship to criticize whether or not it's appropriate to say, "I love you" to someone, because it's almost impossible to know whether or not the person is saying it with meaning. I am by no means, judging you, Issy. You have the right to your opinion. Interesting topic, btw.

Happy Halloween to everyone! :D I dressed up as a queen today, complete with the crown. ^.^ I was the only one to go to school dressed up. It was awesome. I had people escorting me down the hallways, and bowing to me. I even knighted a few people. :P Tonight, I'm going to some parties, gonna have some fun. I hope everyone has fun tonight!

We have 2 PCs in my house. One in my room for my use, the other in my mom's room for the rest of the family to use. :D

It's an alright show. I sometimes watch it if I fall asleep after Maury. :P

I'd use it to pay for college and medical school. ^_^

I like weather usually under 60 degrees farenheit. ^_^ It's never that way around here in the summer time though. I'm usually so languid in the heat. :(

Excuse my emoness. :boohoo: I haven't really had the best of days. It's sunny outside and I really can't stand sunny days. I prefer cloudy (or rainy), chilly weather. That's what makes me happy. ^_^

No kidding.. Some people I've talked to irl have been talking about the extra sleep they'll get but I really don't understand their logic. I'm still going to go to bed at midnight and get up at 7:30 (same as I always do). Could anyone show me where that extra time is? It just feels like you're sleeping later, when in reality, you aren't. :P

My parents pretty much think I'm responsible. Sometimes they have their moments, though. I've always talked to my dad about how I fear the coming responsiblities of life (such as driving, going to college, marrying, taking care of someone, stuff like that) and he's always told me to wait until I feel ready. I couldn't thank him enough for that. Eventually, once you get some more time, you can prove to your parents that you're responsible as well, and they don't need to worry about you. It just takes them some time to realize that you are growing up, and act accordingly. I'm glad you vented about this. ^_^ It's not good to keep everything bottled up inside you. ^_^

I'm kinda weird on that subject to be honest... I wouldn't want my boyfriend going to one. And since I wouldn't want him going to one, I wouldn't go myself. I have been to a few in my single days though. Good times... Good times...
