Nobody put up any objections to me having my old empire.. So here it is after checking Japan, All of New Guinea, and I also had some countries in Africa, but Somalia has taken them over so only Tanzania is left there. [if you put up an objection now, I will be severely disappointed] But anyway, I figure 15 years or so of anarchy has not done too much great. GDP has taken a hit, severe one, but luckily most of our infrastructure remains. Should all go to plan, GDP should begin climbing immediately and reach it's old level in around 4 years. On the plus side, I now have around 2.5 million troops trained in guerrilla warfare, which I didn't have before. Japan's navy has been pillaging it's own ports to keep it's shipped staffed and stocked (such is anarchy!), and the air force has been sitting on it's aircraft carriers, so they're not too badly effected. We do still have quite a sum in our treasury, and we're interested in acquiring a shuttle for Mars, if possible.

Isn't Iran Aether, too? :P Just want to check reclaiming my territories is okay with most other people? Goes without saying that if someone else grabbed them while I was gone then they're not mine to claim anymore.

Japan's yearly update MILITARY PERSONNEL/EQUIPMENT: One more nuclear submarine has been completed, bringing our total to 5. We're also building 60 Eurofighters. We acquired the schematics some time ago but nothing has been done with them so far. Incorporating Kenyan, Ugandan and Papua New Guinean into the Japanese army to help solve unemployment in these new countries, lengthy process though as we have to induct these new soldiers into Japanese culture.
