eeeeeeeeeeek (+1) same here m8, I had blown 4 mil gp on mith arrows just the night before I saw someone owning with bone bolts (which makes no sense when you compare the range attack bonus)...so I went and bought 300k bone bolts, and gave the 40k+ mith arrows to a friend who can't afford to range.....uhoh hehe :uhh: :ohnoes:

Welcome to the internet. Rule one, trust no one Rule two, don't click on attachments with exe. on them Rule three, buy a protection program. My computer stops all actions involving anyhting getting downloaded by a action box on my screen that tells me that client X is trying to download a program....accept or block. Try one out. and since I am in a good mood, I'll paste my typical "wahh I got Hacked response", feel free to absorb anything that applies. ......sigh, not another "oh god I was hacked" story. I thought we had a sticky for these ridiculous items? News flash, ask your buddy for your stuff back. You failed to protect your log in info, or maybe was dumb enough to let a friend know it openly. Either way, you did it to your self....if you were downloading the latest coolest pk lamer vids and got a keylogger....good on ya, although I doubt it. I hope you don't really think some stranger "hacked" into Jagex and having the choice of all those wonderful accounts...picked yours...really...think about it. Amazing how in 3 years playing my pitiful lil account hasn't been set on by these rampant RS-wide uber hackers who seek out nubs to use their ninja like computer skills on and steal their accounts. Stop calling it "hacked" and call it what it was...Inability to control password. Again, go to school and ask your giggling buddy for your stuff back, you know the one you hang with who *gasp* also plays RS. enjoy your gaming experience

I stood side by side with another 125 last night at abbies, he had bordos and godsword (not sure which one) and I had my typical full dragon with rune defender and whip with blackmask. With few exceptions, I dropped my abby faster then he did. He did make some impressive hits.......but the whip is much more consistent. That occasional 50-60 hit looked nice, and sometimes he dropped his freaky fast.....but over all, the whip was faster. Reminds me of DH at <10 hp...ya I hit sometimes with an impressive 80-90....but the never ending zeros dont make for an efficient weapon. No I didnt do an item to item comparison myself as I dont have a godsword, but like most things in RS, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY over rated. Whip would be better if it was able to train strength. No, I am not a strength junkie but it is something that has to be taken into consideration. I honestly want to see a saradomin sword vs. godsword vs. dragon scimitar comparison. true true, there is that...I used dragon scimmy, and dh when I was training strength, like everyone else. :shock:

Even though this article is a generalization of someone's own mind? Even though this object could be completely off, your willing to listen to it, and call it the truth? Yes, your not contradicting yourself, good job. I guess you didn't get my play on words. What I meant (and thought I clarified at the bottom) was that people are just willing to listen to whatever someone else's opinion is and believe that to be the true reasoning behind what Jagex did. yup, probably the problem. I threw in 500 games necklaces, and 400 duel rings at lowest price....nothing .....whips and darkbows flew as soon as I put them in, treasure trail items such as blessed dragonhides, robin etc...*poof* sold.....took out the pots, and jewelry. I have 5k bloods up, they havent moved either, but eventually they will, and it beats surfing the forums to sell.

talking about me ??? been 7 years i play rs ( not a geek i do play around 10-12 hour a week ) in the last 6-10 month they do try to have the power on everything . they dont want anyone to make easy money , dueling , done , merchanting ? , done , wildy gonan be cut out of the map i can bet on thats .... Wasn't specifically talking to you, not that I care if you took it that way. After every update the forums fill up within seconds by all the alarmists crying about how the game is now ruined and they will quit etc etc etc.....but, no wasn't talking to you......unless the shoe fits, if so then yes. Didnt bother to pull up all of your or anyone else's posts to see if you or they fit that description, I was speaking in general.

It's the argument that's been TRIED but it always fails. Where has that scenario ever played out except in a handful of temporary circumstances? Most modern Western countries have an essentially free market with reasonable controls. They do not have the government telling everyone that they can only buy or sell items within +/-5% of the "official price". Or can you name one that does? :) Why was it naive, when Jagex has spent the last six years bleating the mantra that "players set prices"? Or was it naive to think they wouldn't cripple their own feature? :) :-k hmmm do you ever have anything positive to say or is the glass ALWAYS half empty for you? hehe just curious :uhh:

when you log in it tells you that you have items in your GE collection box...every time I log in I got money waiting for me at the bank under the collect option, gotta love it

Only economists think learning about the economy is worthwhile everyone else could care less. A (small) test was done on a stock market(FTSE 500), 10 children were given little pieces of paper to choose from, on the paper were different stocks, the kids picked them at random. 10 of the most powerful investment brokerage companies in the country (UK) were asked to pick some picks for trading that day using their nous. The kids picks on average went up, the companies picks on average went down(what economic fundamentals did the kids know that the companies didn't?). We had masters of economics in a position to effect changes during every stock market crash, why didn't they avert them? because its not something that can be mastered, its like the tide. Also given than 99% of people will not be involved in economics in anyway it seems futile to teach them something they wont need as a skill. I'd prefer my mechanics to know about automobiles thanks. Its a game, people don't play a game so they can use their brain to make the economy 'better' (well they do-they're called merchants, but they are 'playing' at being stock brokers, Runescape itself is just used as a market). well said =D>

I am all about moving items, I don't obsess about price, as a full time slayer, items rain from the sky for me to sell hehe. I put them in at the middle price for about 15 mins, came back thru and lowered them to the lowest price, and they were gone 5 mins or so later. When buying items, I put in for middle price, and if I dont get an immediate sale, I move it to max as to quibble over a few 100k is trivial.

sold 2k rune arrows within an hour of posting them in the GE tonight, have sold over 27 mil worth of items since GE opened, and bought a few toys as well...love it love it, oooh as I typed this, I got two more "You have items waiting in your Grand Exchange collection box" wooooooooooot! \

Pros: Everything, I love when I come home from work and log in...and find out I have several million gp awaiting for me to collect. I love when I want something, I can click buy, enter item, and (so far anyway) instantly acquire :) cons: nothing, cept the poor merchanters can't orchestrate prices anymore *sniffle* =D> :thumbsup: :XD:

yup I was 124 pre-pc....killed tons of trolls every night to make 100 combat in under 4 months, made 123 in under 12 months....rather enjoyed that hard work....would go in bank and MAYBE see one other "high lev"....now after PC we stand 10 deep at EVERY window at edge bank....the numbers of high levels quadrupled......oh well, life goes on.

I absolutely love it, sold the 4 whips I got this week slaying in under 5 mins.....for the exact same price I sold 3 last week...1.35mil ea *huggz GE* prices are pretty darn accurate....gotta love that. I assumed id be losing a little for the conveniece...guess not *dances*

omg GE is the best thing to happen to RS since dragon items hehe, ive made an effortless 14 mil today...in mins lol. no more wasting time in forums trying to hawk whips and dark bows...just click, and BAM!...voila money to collect :-w \ :thumbsup:
