Correct me if i am wrong but didnt they
I have no idea what you did to lose money, but when I crafted them I made a profit of 2-2.3k! I collected my own seaweed (so I didn't need to buy that), I retrieved sand from Bert (Hand in the Sand quest). Then using the glassmaking for lunar spellbook, I crafted my own orbs. from there it was just buying the battlestaves and attaching the orbs after I charged them. I mine my own ess, crafted my own Cosmics and Voila! 2k-2.3k profit! No, I am (and from my experience of buying staves last night) and I know there are others upset with this update. I am not going to use my Pizzazz points for battlestaves because I am trying to save up for infinity gear. It is bad enough I don't have the luxury of endless amount of time, but when I do play I like to focus on one thing to do. Battlestaving for me was a big money maker because of how I do it. I was happy when there were three places to purchase and now there is only 1. Increase the stock to 20, I really don't think that is going to help at all. People will still worldhop just to purchase what they can when they can. That shall change nothing, imo. But that is how I feel about it. Same for me... I was thrilled that i got about 700 of them with the varrock armor on (reducing the price by as much as 1k), because it was so much cheaper then... Made about 3k profit with it per staff :)

My theory on the God Wars Dungeon: How did it freeze over?
Think please. The God Wars started after Zaros was betrayed by Zamorak. Ofcourse he isn't there. Neither is Zamorak, Saradomin, Bandos or Armadyl there... They're generals are... When Zaros (FWI he didnt die) faded into history after losing his powers, little of him was known. Do desert treasure, and read through the Ghostly Robes miniquest...

My theory on the God Wars Dungeon: How did it freeze over?
On this topic; It's pretty obvious that Saradomin and Zamorak were mortal enemies and had their own huge war (what is currently defined in RuneScape history as THE godwars)... Bandos and Armadyl, while powerfull themselves, had actually few followers, but they have a distinctive feature about them: Bandos is quite obviously the god that represents the Melee fighting style, just by looking at his armor stats... Armadyl is all for Ranging, and the negative melee statistics prove that too... I was surprised to see that Zaros was completely left out of the GWD. And seeing that he is the one that lives and breaths magic (being the one you get your Ancient Magiks from) It couldve been Him that froze it... But this theory gets shot down when you know that Zamorak was not a god untill he took the God-hood from Zaros... So you have Saradomin for the forces of good Guthix for balance Zamorak for evil Bandos for melee Armadyl for range And Zaros for magic From the GWD, 2 of the above are missing; Zaros and Guthix. And while in no recorded history did these 2 ever interact, I wouldnt be surprised if in the end, a huge fight leads up to this. Those who have completed Path of the Glouphrie, and didnt skip through Hazelmere's Prediction may have a small idea what is waiting for us...

Watch out monsters here we come *SODB* [U]
And yet you didnt participate in a single clan event organised by tipit, let alone win one, let alone win all but 2 events... So if this is the best clan about, how come it is detached from tipit? QV: you're a supermod... You moved it here, its your responsability... What else did my clan win with all those ctet events...

Watch out monsters here we come *SODB* [U]
I object, this is a specific clan related thread... My clan won a load of CTET events, and thats why we earned our own private topic on this section of the forums, the others should go in the recruitment section... They even say they dont use it anymore, so why bother moving it at all...

TSA Blog: Because sometimes, Angels need a sharp sword too.
Much credit to Diggumup, Tal Shiar and The Rising have come to an agreement to combine our strengths in many different ways. [hide]The Tal Shiar Alliance + The Rising Agreement Military Clause: Upon request The Rising will endeavour to provide military support for Tal Shiar and vice versa. This pivots mainly around Anti-Crashing and any wilderness excursions set out upon, but does not exclude major events, up to and including wars. Tal Shiar will share any information learned which could be deemed integral to The Rising in its military practices, and will work towards perfecting strategies, equipment set-ups, and any and all other processes where The Rising feels they need improvement. Trade Clause: The Rising, in their ability to gain higher levelled more exclusive RuneScape items, will endeavour to sell said items to Tal Shiar at a common, moderate price as provided by ZYBEZ' Price Guide. For example Item X Price: 7m - 8m. At the sellers discretion the item will be sold around the 7.5m mark. Tal Shiar will allow The Rising access to their 'Shops' as found on their site. Again this is at the shop owner's discretion to allow it. Recruitment and clan membership Clause: Tal Shiar Alliance will allow The Rising to utilise the high status they enjoy on the fan site Tip.It and its forums as a modem for recruitment.[/hide] Those are the details of our pact. Having earned ones own thread really helps. Thanks to The Rising for giving us the opportunity, I'm sure this thing will work out. Thanks to tipit for letting me use this thread as sort of a clan-blog. :)

Another Easter Egg in Runescape
Factually, he never admitted to being the 2nd, nor claimed to be the first... He and his compagnion told the press once they got down that they were there at the same time, so there would not be a first person on top of the world, and no flag planting to claim it either...

Bandos Godsword - new anti-pure weapon?
This is all in my Godsword vs Abyssal Whip thread...

Godsword vs Abyssal Whip analysis (and the other new items)
It's possible, but I'd sooner use it as a PK weapon. It's basicly like a melee-ice barrage, so it prevents your target from getting away. I guess it could also be used the otehr way around, you getting away from them.

Godsword vs Abyssal Whip analysis (and the other new items)
No I was wrong, I confused it with the Saradomin Godsword. The Saradomin Sword hits as fast and strong as whip, but is 2handed. Has a strength training option I think, since it also has a Crush attack bonus...

Godsword vs Abyssal Whip analysis (and the other new items)
Buying all 3 shards will cost you around 30m (actually anywhere between 25m and 35m really) The Hiklt prices follow pretty much the pattern of how much damage the spec can do, highest damage is most expensive: Armadyl between 23m and 28m (rising in price already) Bandos between 21 and 27m (rising slightly in price) Saradomin between 16m and 20m (dropped a bit already) Zamorak between 15m and 20m (ditto) The 2 major gods still missing (who btw never actually met) are Guthix and Zaros... Armadyl = Range, Bandos = Melee, Zaros = Magic... Saradomin = 'good', Zamorak = 'evil', Guthix = 'neutral'... And just for fun: Godsword = good, Saradomin Sword = bad, Steam Staff = ugly...

Godsword vs Abyssal Whip analysis (and the other new items)
It's in the first post: Saradomin Sword = 2handed and slower, but has a crush attack and has option to train strength as far as I know (probably with the crush attack). The spec isnt as good either as you can do more damage with DDS specs, although the fact that it does magic damage may ahve the odd use...

Godsword vs Abyssal Whip analysis (and the other new items)
It's possible, but you need to get 7 rare drops: Shard 1 through 3, and all 4 hilts... total worth at roughly 140m

Godsword vs Abyssal Whip analysis (and the other new items)
Yes... The Zamorak Spear has exactly the same special as a Dragon Spear. It shoves your opponent 1 square back and stuns him, and doesnt do damage. I dont know yet if this Spear can be poisoned (Guthans cant), but even if it could, it doesnt amaze me...

I dont wanna hog all the credit though... My clan has helped me a good bit forming the overall opinion...
