  1. This should have been updated when dragonfire shield came out as dragon fireshield is as good at (6) and after (6) its worse then a full charged dragonfire shield.
  2. 1. Lack of Clan/Event support. 2. PvP issues. 3. Expandability they've lost a lot of wiggle room for future updates without switching a lot of the game. 4. Balancing of the game. 5. Whiners, nothing is ever right for them and Jagex seem to listen to them as opposed to the old and more experienced players.
  3. CT fire giants, CT skeletons (the rates a guide gave out seem OTT, but they were better the armoured xombies (the _ key doesn't work on this keyboard)) or dust devils. Not sure on the rates, but fire giants and dust devils are good charms and skeletons are meant to be extremely good exp. Just throwing in ideas. O and you say armoured xombies are boring but you want it to be almost afk-able :?
  4. Theres 2 other options, but they seriously lack both charms and ease of stacking. Mummies and skeleton/zombie monkeys. Are you looking for exp and charms or just exp? Just exp string jewellery or one of the other non combat familiars. Charms and exp, rock lobsters are the best and only one worth doing (that I know of)
  5. DeltaER's reply was a bit hit and miss. Farming Always plant marigold and for herbs do: Tarromin->Harralander->Ranarr only switch from ranarr if you after exp over money. At the moment ranarr pretty much beats snapdragon when you take into account deaths. Prayer Either, Kill hill giants in the dungeon near varrock and bank the bones or use the money gained from hunting. Sell the big bones and buy dragon bones. Its slightly more expensive, but will save a lot of time. Then use a house party running from the bank to the portal and back. This will work out better exp and faster (lower level monsters, banking and better bones). By fairy rings I and fairy rings II he means Fairy Tale Part I and Fairy Tale Part II The rest is pretty much bang on.
  6. Give us your stats then we can cater better for you. Personally I'm a big fan of boss hunting, sure its not as reliable but its a lot better then grinding.
  7. Depending on the jobs you set them it can be anything upto about 50 days (since you currently double your money with some of the options).
  8. Work through all the quests you can and you should get some nice exp as well as better trade limit. Definately train your stats as they are pretty low and shoudln't take too long to get to a decent levels. (60+'s)
  9. Poli dungeon with your best combat familiar and possibly a cannon.
  10. Use the burthope master and it will get reset to one of his.
  11. Math seems wrong. 150 damages should give 600 xp 1.8m/7 is not 600K In pest control you get half the normal exp so 150 damage would give 300xp
  12. viewtopic.php?f=226&t=799367 Knew I'd seen this post somewhere else before.
  13. SC, but you'll get through a LOT of armour
  14. Hi, I posted this a while back, its still about and its annoying. If I want to search on the item db, bestiary, shops or quest and the result is a single item it doesn't take you straight to the item. Example: I want to check out the stats for void mace 1. Item database 2. Search "void mace" 3. Select void mace from the list of either void mace or nothing. 4. Finally get to void mace information screen Couldn't you simply add a simple redirect to the number of records from the query is 1? The 1 extra step might not sound like much, but try making the following setup on equipment builder. Verac's helm - use "verac" Verac's bassard - use "verac" Verac's skirt - use "verac" Barrows Gloves - use "barrows" Void Mace - use "void" Fury - use "fury" Granite Shield - use "granite" Thats 7 extra clicks/screens for one setup. Granted the equipment builder one is harder to do, the general one is very simple to implement. PS Why not add a tip.it search box with a drop down of databases next to the google one?
  15. Its already in the guide only you have to click a link to see the completed image. And yes its the same for all players
  16. I think its about 34k exp per hammer.
  17. I've barrowed too many trips to remember and 1 in 12.5 or 13 sounds correct. I believe its the same value that leesters got after a big barrows data scavenge
  18. Slayer task? If not don't even bother. Brimhaven dungeon or wildy volcano for melee or the orge blue dragon dungeon (forgot the true name) for range/magic.
  19. Watermelons in the fally spot (with the fally achievement shield of course) is decent exp and is a lazy source of super compost
  20. Its not effective its amazingly slow just like any other jewelery smithing process. It is however cheap.
  21. Must fall into encouraging others to break the rules I suppose.
  22. I think I miscalculated the number of casts as its going to be closer to 1.5k's worth that I'll be taking. I was looking at a guide at it calculated you'll use about 750 casts per hour, but brainymidget's guide works out at about 650 per hour and you just stated 1k per 2 to 3 hours :| 2. Runewikia states 400 seconds after looking into it so thats about 6 and a half minutes. So about 10 casts per hour, which is cheaper then I was expecting 3. I think I should be ok after watching a few guides, but if you have them online it would help a great deal. 8. Fury all the way Thanks for all the answers.
  23. Ok after a failed attempt a while back (forgot to switch the spell back on resulting in prime, supreme and rex all on me) I've decided to give it another go. I've decided to go with Veracs maging this time (it was the switch in attack style of guthans maging which killed me) using claws of guthix (potting to 80 for charge). Now I've duo maged before without any issues, but it was using magic dart with tribrid gear (long story short crashers took prime and sup) so I wasn't very prepared and tbh we were both very newbie. Currently my outfit is. Veracs helm Veracs top Veracs bottoms Void mace Mystic boots Ring of Wealth Barrows gloves Guthix cape Now the shield slot is wear I'm questioning. The guides state to use a high range defence one, but this massively reduces the magic defence when mixed with my remaining budget. So I was thinking spirit shield (standard) as opposed to granite. Inventory will be the titan one only with 1 less anti and 1 less super restore to all me to take 2 magic potions (if my math is correct I'll be level 80 or damn close after a full trip). So questions. 1. 297 range defence should be enough with 85 defence and titans scrolls right? Or is is wiser to lose the 4+ magic attack bonus for a few more defence points? in essence spirit shield vs granite shield 2. How often do you have to use charge? 3. Can anyone supply me with images of all the safe spots for rex (I know of 1, but the others are iffy)? 4. Anti poison are ++ still the best bang for buck there? 5. How long will 1.3k casts (not including charging) take? Only taking 1.2k's worth due to budgeting and first veracs maging attempt. 6. How realistic are the values I've seen floating around for 1m to 1.2m per hour maging dks? 7. Praying theres mixed views on when you should pray and what as a mager any help? 8. Any cheap (sub 300k) improvements to my setup? Excluding the shield debate 9. Anything else worth noting? Like always thanks in advance, Joe
  24. 1 best oak item with stealing creation hammers. 2 click on the door space hotspot you can boost from 50 3. nope
