You can withdraw your money at any time. If you just want to get one day's rewards, you dont need to put in the max amount of money 'holdable' - 7.5 mill. The citizens will take 10% of whatever is in the bank up to a max of 75k, so for one day's work you will only need to put in 750k. After which you will be free to withdraw the remaining 675k if you so wish (but you wont because the rewards are so good! Especially Coal, Flax and Herbs IMO) P.S. This post really should have gone in Help & Advice I think.

I think you're just being upset that you have gone from being 'upper class' to 'middle class'; and don't 'think' that you can lump us all in with you. I paid 1.1milllion for my Dragon med which is now worth about 400k. Do I care? NO! I accept the fact that it has gone down in value because the increase in levels I have gained since having it has allowed me to earn much more money per week and offset that loss; and the increase in levels of players who were unable to get such a drop, when I did, has put them in the position where they can achieve it. If you bought a Ferrari F355 5 years ago, would you now be putting pressure on Fiat and European governments to artificially support the cost of that car to protect your investment? Of course you wouldn't, because every economist in the western world would laugh at you! The same applies here,if you are willing to apply real-world economic rules to a fantasy scenario, something which I personally am loath to do, but which so many Runescapers seem happy with.

Exactly like yourself, I've been away for a while and did that quest yesterday. Spotted exactly the same thing. As soon as I 'examined' the aspidistra and it said 'dronga, dronga', I knew what the machine was all about. A friend of mine is now going to do the quest, just so he can see the aspidistra - he's of the same age group as us. I didn't post about it cos I thought it might be old news - but obviously not. Oh, I'm 38 for anyone who cares!

As more players gain the ability to get whips, the price will inevatbly come down; that's economics. When I started playing, law runes cost 500gp, now they are 300gp,. You cant avoid it, so live with it.

Let's face it, no-one is going to beat that for importance on a personal level. From my own persoanl point of view, its my dragon legs, cos they are the only dragon item that I got from a drop rather tahn buying. But compared to Barihawk's items, very small potatoes indeed!

Just walk around Runescape 'examining' everything and appreciate the humour that goes into the game. Might be a bit hard if you're American (not that they dont have a sense of humour, but Runescape is British and so is a lot of its humour), but then you can try to trace the references they are making. Reckon all that will take you about three months, by which time there will be loads more new stuff to do!

If you talking about the speed thing i.e. hp per min for the two weapons, although the whip is a bit faster and may have a higher max by, I dont know, 2 or 3, I still think you are better off with the scimmy.

If you use a whip, all the hp you score (on controlled) will be spread over the three skills - Attack, Strength, Defence, then you add the points to strength at the end. If you use a scimmy, all the hp you score (on aggressive) will go on strength, then you add the points to strength at the end. Nuff said!

I believe its to do with the new quest 'Darkness of Hallowvale'. It cant be entered yet, I think, but is there for a future extension of the 'Myreque' quest series.

So use mith arrows at fire giants when you get to lvl 60 :) Too busy, too many wild dogs, too much time to make the arrows.

If you're training strength, dont bother with a whip. Dragon scimmy is THE strength training weapon bar none.

The big difference with the arrows is - to make up a word - recoverability. The better the arrow, the more you will get back if you take the time to pick them up. I have just gone from 68 to 70 ranged using steel arrows at the Lathas Ogre training site. I was gettting up to 75% of my arrows back. Starting with 4k arrows, if you pick up every one ( I picked up after every 4 ogres so as not to lose any) I got about 11k shots from my 4k arrows. Getting on average 4hp damage from each hit with full red, archer helm, snakeskin boots and glory ammy, thats 44xp per arrow!
