  1. You and everyone else it would seem...
  2. #-o :-k :wall: :? ...what more can I say?
  3. Daggers, whips, and scimitars all have the same attack speed I think we're getting it now. Spam enough?
  4. Scimitar, Dagger, and whip all share the same attack rate... You forgot to quote tzone92 from about 3 posts above yours, and muggiwhplar from page 1.
  5. You will find the Help and Advice forum full of just that, I spent much time learning from it in my early days, and every now and again, pop back to return the favour.
  6. Owners of popular sites such as those owned by big brands, often buy up domain with similar (mis)spellings to direct traffic to their sites. Ever heard of 'cyber-squatting'? In the early days of the web, people would buy domains i.e. coca-cila.com and either re-direct them to their own site, or wait for the relevant brand owner to cough up, often large sums of money, to buy the domain from them. This practise has now been outlawed, and large companies can get their domains legally 're-possessed'.
  7. Personally, I think being able to hit something from bloody miles away (slight exaggeration) with no danger of being hit back, is just about the best spec you're going to find anywhere, don't you?
  8. Daggers, whips, and scimitars all have the same attack speed I've always thought that scimmy fell between dagger and sword :o , well at least I've learned something tonight. (I stand by the STR bonus figures though O:) )
  9. Saw a good one today, "Ker Fuffle", don't know if its been posted already, but I'm fight Steely's right now, so too busy to look. :o
  10. Whip has faster attack rate (same as dagger) and gives 82 STR bonus against scimmy's 66.
  11. Has anyone else experienced a serious increase in the number of teleport malfunction randoms over the past couple of days? Or is it just me?
  12. Frankly, I'd expect a more open-minded approach from these long-standing Tip.It members.
  13. Who cares about getting energy back faster? Herblore/MTK and super energy pots beats hanging around for energy to recharge every other minute of the day. Agility is my second lowest level after Firemaking (only because I had to raise it for a quest) and I run EVERYWHERE.
  14. yeah i know but iff you follo the link it looks a lot like the main runescape site... The thing that made me sure that it was a fake was that there is 2001 - 2006 on the page at the bottom, while on the runescape site it is 2001 - 2007 Don't you think the "rune" '.po' "rt5.com" site address was enough of a giveaway? What the hell were you doing following the link? I hope your PC's malware defences are up to scratch if you engage in that sort of behaviour on a regular basis.
  15. Based on what? You have precisely 0 details of the forthcoming updates, and already you're panning them?
  16. 75,000gp will be taken out each day (so 750,000 over 10 days) so, no, it won't all be gone. Edit: sorry misunderstood your question. I believe that if you stop being a member, the money will be spent regardless (though, of course, you cannot collect the proceeds) but it wont disappear.
  17. I think a better way of putting it is this: 10% of the money in your coffers will be withdrawn each day - subject to a maximum of 75,000gp. You therefore need to have a minimum of 750,000 in the coffers to get the maximum purchasing power - you can either top up the coffers to 750,000 each day, or put in more (up to a maximum of 7.5 mil) and let it ride for a while. That money will be used to purchase the materials gathered by your workers. The higher your approval rating at the end of the day prior to purchase, the lower the unit price you will pay for the materials.
  18. My two best clue rewards were from consecutive clues: 1. Two torn pages (1 zammy, 1 guthix); 2. Robin Hat. Both came from the same Slayer assignment - Jellies. Being lvl72 Slayer and having picked up many clues from monsters up to Steel Drags, I have to say that rewards are definitely NOT monster level dependent.
  19. Ever had a chinese take-away? (Please don't flame me for being racist or xenophobic. Yes, I know 99% of chinese restaurants are safe, healthy well-run establishments. But, I do have personal knowledge of one that was found to have seagull traps on its roof (by the Health Department) in the city where I lived. Just ask Jade Goody's mum. [/unreserved populist [bleep]iness] Tell that to a Mink! Ever seen a Mink cage? Not a pretty sight. No wonder the poor buggers escape at every opportunity, to wreak havoc on the local ecosystem (blasted vermin...oh, wait, why were they there again?) I feel a rant coming on so I'll just stop here I think, except for this - when you kill an animal its dead. Do you think it cares what you do with its constituent parts afterwards? Does it really matter? In the end we either choose to kill animals for our own gain or leave them be. As for endangered species, several thousand square kilometres of rainforest is destroyed every year by loggers, so that we can have coffee tables to put our celebrity autobiographies on. Contained within that forest were hundreds of species of animal that became extinct before we even discovered their existence. The only difference is that none of them (probably) were cuddly.
  20. Are you talking about Stallone or Beckham? :?
  21. No it can't. Don't get me wrong, I'm an agnostic, science student through and through, but there is absolutely NOT any definitive proof of the derivation of life on Earth. Spontaneous evolution of single-celled organisms is a POSSIBILITY, so is extra-terrestrial seeding, neither has been PROVED to be the case. While science can argue with proof the case for evolution from the earliest fossil record up to modern man, which Creationism cannot do, it still cannot point to the moment when life came to be. So if you don't know where life comes from, how can you say you know where it goes?
  22. Now now, some of us will. However, I only have fond memories of that era. Possibly because computers and games were so new and exciting to me. The first game I remember playing: Another of my favourite old games, particularly for the music: FEAR is nothing compared to System Shock 2, creepiness-wise - which I am adding to my list of greats. I agree with you to a point, but you have to admit that some of them were Godawful! Don't ask me to name names because 1. Alcohol 2. Age 3. I've subconsciously blocked them from my memory and only some terrible psychological event will release those memories and probably cause some kind of breakdown. Oh, wait a minute, 'Ant Attack'.........sits in corner and dribbles.
