  1. Wakka?! ryan?? I just find it odd a bit that complainers are releasing updates.
  2. Err.. Or they couldn't think of anything that they thought was worth posting (a bit like you I suppose - except they didn't think a flame/spam was worth posting). O T: I think it would be a good idea to start collating these posts (the constructive ones anyway) into a list in the first post.
  3. I wub my wubber chicken. But my whip comes a close wecond.
  4. No, you were right the first time (when taken as a group, at least).
  5. Sorry if this has been mentioned, I just jumped on 'reply', but the biggest problem I have with the new board is the number of old topics being dredged up by people who are seeing them for the first time. There are also Non-members replying to member's posts saying things like" I don't know, but my mate who's a member says..." I don't see how either of these types of posts are achieving the board change's stated aim of improving the qualty of post on the first page by "natural selection".
  6. Having just returned from a few days working away from home (and my PC  ), I am happy to see that a number of factors (people power being among them I hope) have resulted in the ditching of the 'pop-up' ad system. However, I would still like to see Tip.It exploring the idea of a paid-for service (initially on a limited basis, as someone suggested), if revenue for the site is becoming a problem. Hands up who would rather pay for Tip.It than have no Tip.It at all?
  7. OK fair enough on the maths point, but to use the 24 hp you have to pot when you don't need to. If you're in a situation where pots and food are both necessary, you usually won't be potting as often as you eat.
  8. Yes, nice post, sorry if it's been a bit hijacked by responses to my (hurried) reply, but it appears that you have covered all the bases. As for them being Slayer monsters, I take on board what others have said as fair points, but would point them to the last part of Artemis' post regarding Waterfiends.
  9. on tip it? if so its cause they havent updated it yet  . if in knowledge base, maybe its the same reason? pretty interesting, i wonder what the max hit of the mithril dragon is? No, I'm talking about the game interface. ohhhhhh thats probably because they dont require a certain slayer level to kill Oh yeah, like that other Slayer monster that doesn't ... require ... a ... hang on?

  11. Yes but your gonna ruin a helluva lot of valuable potions in the process. I like to sell my excess Supersets, Prayers etc. to pay for my secondaries. You wont be seeing me dumping fish fertiliser in mine!
  12. I'm not disputing your findings but, if those are Slayer Monsters, why aren't they on the Slayer Guide list?
  13. Biggest change for me has been the MTK update. Instrumental in my levelling Fletching, Herblore, Farming & Firemaking. As well as making me a LOT of money. Been playing 2 years BTW.
  14. You mean blue? I don't think greens drop chewed bone. Nooooo..... I think he (or she) means green...
  15. Banshees have one of the top 2 or 3 drop lists in the game :) Which game?
  16. That looks like a motorcycle crash helmet with a couple of twinkies stuck to it.
  17. That's a nice postulation. I'm gonna second that.
  18. Well at least I'm getting some response now. This is one potion I thought might benefit from the update, but as I have no experience of using it, I didn't know for sure. EDIT: Above posted as I wrote this I guess - Bugger! There goes the only use we can come up with!
  19. I suggest that the next Tip.It poll be this: Would you be prepared to pay $1 a month as a registration fee to use Tip.It? (Or whatever fee it is deemed necessary to pay for the running of the site without advertising). Let those of us who, let's be honest, probably couldn't play the *game (* edited in to remove said pop-up) nearly half as well as we do without Tip.It and who don't want to see these adverts, put our money where our mouth is. Then having eliminated the 70% or so who put their mouth where their money should be (those that vote 'Yes' but when push comes to wallet, decline), if Tip.It feels it could run the site that way, give it a go. P.S. Oh and by the way, I absolutely would pay $1 (or more) a month for Tip.It. Let's face it $5 a month for Runescape is ludicrously cheap to start with. P.P.S. Honestly, I really think the LEAST you could do is remove the pop-ups from a thread that is arguing against the them. (At least that would save us the trouble of doing it ourselves).
  20. I originally posted this on the Barb Update thread, but there don't seem to any answers coming through to the question at the end, so I'm starting a new thread: These new potions seem a bit of a letdown. Basically they are exactly the same as the original pot but give you a few HP on top, in other words its as if you dropped a shrimp or mackerel in before you drank it. All well and good but for one thing - they can only be 2-dose, so as far as their principal function goes, you'll need to carry twice as many. Since the most hp each vial can provide is 12, you are basically taking away an inventory space which could have held a shark and filling it with a lobster - and sometimes you'll be eating or potting when you don't need to. That's the initial impression I get anyway. Can anyone think of situations where these things will be useful?
  21. I'm 75 slayer and have never had a Wyvern assignment. Just yesterday I was complaining to a friend that the highest slayer monster assignment I had received was Dusties. Sod's law means my next will be Wyverns!
  22. I thought making the mix made it 4 dose? It's still 2 dose afterward? Nope, you're left with a 2 dose pot AND you can't combine them to make a 4 dose

  24. No. Yes. Hopefully a new higher detail version.
  25. I got a dragon leg drop on my FOURTH ever steel dragon. Anyone care to kill 200 steels for 50 d legs? Well you're not going to because they are random - just like everything else. There is no such thing as a drop rate. There's a drop probability, but knowing that is absolutely no help at all in determining how many kills you need to get a drop. So stop killing yourself over it and drop the subject /puns.
