  1. You're 18, math isn't to hard to figure out... Not as hard as English anyway. :shame: I'm old enough to be the father of almost everyone who has posted (well, legally anyway), that's all I'm going to say on the matter. :ohnoes:
  2. Ok. Don't have the right and privledge to not learn, and become dumb as a rock. You know, not many people have that type of chance in their life, you should be thankful. Hopefully he was being ironic!
  3. Legal obligation or not, unless you own a forest and live off whatever you can find in it (and have no children in school and never leave your forest), aren't you morally obliged to pay tax. I agree on the principle of fairness, thats beside the point. Punishing someone for not paying income tax remains illegal and against the law, as there is no law. Actually you "apparently heard" there is no law - whatever that means... And if there is, in fact, a law against paying your taxes, you are now guilty of inciting people to break that law. Be careful what you say and where you say it. I live in England (George Orwell's 'Big Brother' state come true) so I should know.

  5. I don't profess to be any kind of expert on the subject, but if dynamic sigs are having the effect that Jagex say they are (and I have no reason to doubt them), then they sound practically tantamount to a DOS (Denial of Service) attack on their servers (though I am not suggesting, of course, that this was ever the intention), or at least similar in their effect. In which case no-one can blame Jagex for taking action to prevent them, and they may indeed have a case for legal action as Barihawk says.
  6. As I PM'ed, max kudos to Lunar for publicly saying "I misunderstood" when he could have had the thread quietly moved back. If only governments were run by guys like that.
  7. This is a bug or suggestion because?... :-s :? Atestarossa is not suggesting an idea for the game, but a way of playing the game, so this is not the correct forum for that reason. Its not a bug, because its not a coding error, so please explain the move.
  8. Slayer had just been released when I became a member, though I had been playing F2P for about a month, and its my favourite skill of those 5.
  9. I sold my zerker for 60k yesterday, as soon as I'd compared its stats to my new helm (though I didn't know it was untradeable at the time). I don't know much about merchanting, but I'm guessing that, as the new helm is purchasable for 50k, that the berserker value must go down. Either that or Jagex will put up the cost of replacing the new helm, to bring it in line with the zerker.
  10. I just had two randoms (MOM & Pinball), while just tidying up my bank!
  11. We'll have none of smut in here thank you! OT: For the big rewards you have to take the big risks, sometimes you get lucky - and sometimes you don't! This time he/she didn't, and you did! :D
  12. Yes oof course they do, if they didn't people would get pk'ed while doing treasure trails wouldn't they?
  13. It has cost you a penny, just out of kingdom profits. That's cooking the books to make it look better. :) Ah, you got me....its a tax dodge!
  14. In no particular order: Slayer, thieving and agility - because all three have no purchasable components.
  15. Just do the quests for Manage Thy Kingdom; Royal Trouble is the second one I forget the first. Go 100% flax & 50% coal, sell the proceeds till you have many hundreds of thousands of gp profit (You'll get 60-75k per day depending on your selling price). Use some of your money to make the oak planks you need to get to the point where you can make teak kitchen tables at a workbench. (Use Tip.It's Construction guide for the details here.) Then switch to 100% teak and 50% flax. Use the profit from the flax to make planks from the teak, then hit your workbench. (teak kitchen tables are 270 xp each and you don't have to scroll down the menu to find them - three clicks per table - dead fast). This way you will get as many construction levels as you want completely free of charge. I got to 62 cons this way (high enough to make home teletabs [my ultimate aim] with crystal saw - another quest - and tea from porcelain cups) and it hasn't cost me a penny.
  16. Its so that we can have less than 40 ppl per tree on P2P.
  17. If its cash you want, 100% flax and 50% coal - sell flax for 100 each and coal for 200 each (or 180 each for fast sale as i did). I paid for 62 construction by doing that. Basically, you're doubling your money there, so one day of the above pays for another day of herbs etc.
  18. Daggers, whips, and scimitars all have the same attack speed Whips are faster than any other weapon... check the knowledge base itself... whips are fastest in game... Anyway.... the whip is for fast and good attack and defence training... you just dont want it because *oooh, I'm a strength pure!* nice 30s you hit there with a scim.... but how often do you hit them? You have forgotten throwing knives, they hit insanely fast on rapid mode. No they RELEASE insanely fast, but unless you have an equally insane ranged level, they'll just bounce off and fall on the floor. We're talking about MELEE weapons here.
  19. Guna have to agree with the chick-who-will-bite-your-head-off on this one. If I'd said " I read on a forum somewhere that Jagex have secretly increased the rate of 'Lost and Found' randoms, THAT would be spreading a rumour. This however, is a straightforward question, (you can tell this by the presence of the "?" at the end of the sentence. A common punctuation mark, used to indicate that the preceding text is a query of some kind. Alright. So, you asked a question. By askin said question, are you not spreading the idea of an increased amount of teleport malfunctions throughout the community, and thus spreading rumors? No I'm not. I'm asking other Runescape players if they have experienced a similar increase to the one I have experienced. If they have, then the idea of an increased incidence of this random is backed up by facts, if not, then it is purely my personal experience. Everyone is free to post 'Yes' or 'No', the balance appears to be swinging towards 'Yes' from the 'non-spam' posts received so far. If the swing had been towards 'No' then would I be guilty of spreading the 'rumour' the randoms really are just that? If you want to look up the meaning of the word 'rumour', simply type 'define: rumour' into the google search engine and you will learn its meaning. As to whether this is a subject worthy of a post on this forum; it is of interest to me and perhaps others (I think post count speaks for itself in this case) which - as I am a member of this forum should be enough. If it is of no interest to you, then you have the right not to post (and particularly the right not to spam).

  21. A minor point here, but in the interests of thoroughness:- Picking Bittercap Mushrooms gives 57.5 xp (*6) not 57(*6) as stated.
  22. Trolls at Trollheim,(think you have to do a quest or two) are good herb seed droppers, I believe you can safe-spot them from within the tents.
  23. Wouldn't hurt, and the whip is faster or equal to the speed of a dagger. A dragon scimitar has medium speed. It makes a huge difference. I would rather spend the 1.9 million coins on the whip than the scimitar because of the speed difference; Are you sure because I remember on Tip.It it said the whip was as fast as a dagger and the scimitar had medium speed. It also seems faster to me too, but it may just be me. Don't even go there [points to gazillion corrections of my own post on this point] (I've checked on KB and they ARE the same). Are you sure because I remember on Tip.It it said the whip was high speed (dagger speed) and scimitars were medium speed. That's what I thought, but check the KB for yourself, they are both rated the same on the little speed graph majigummy.
