  1. If you didn't like them 'all that much', why were they on your buddy list? Shallow much?
  2. Its looking like a new 'sticky' is gonna be required for newspapers, if only so we can ignore them all because none of them are going to contain anything which we haven't seen already. This is only the second I have seen and I am bored already. It doesn't contain anything of value that Tip.It's main site doesn't have so what is the point?
  3. Oh you know you should have called on Tip.It to mob his/her [posterior]. I'm sure you would have enrolled many happy volunteers.
  4. Nope, never worn one. If I think I might be entering a situation where a Ring of Life might save me, then I just don't go there. Last died at level 75, currently lvl 104 (except for a phonecall/chicken mishap at Dusties while lvl 99 - but I don't count that - because it was down to my own stupidity).
  5. Fever spiders - a long way to go for basically b**ger all!
  6. so swampjedi watches startreck?   Doesn't everyone? And if not, why not?
  7. Mine too. Since then I have received a D Med from Iron Drags, and 2 D Legs from Steel Drags. Don't let anyone ever tell you that Metal Drag Slayer tasks should be Burthorped!
  8. Cried? No. The day I do is the day I quit. Extending from this to some replies to this thread... I have had a dream in which I found my account had been hacked. But since I know that my PC is Ironclad security-wise, and I have never given my P/W to anyone, I knew that it was a dream and was not unduly worried. :)
  9. You can still remember your first clue scroll?????!!!!!
  10. No it doesn't. Manage Thy Kingdom pays for it and gives a profit on top, in the same way that it pays for Construction and, indeed, all other skills (provided you have the patience to give it the time.)
  11. If I could be a lone voice actually commenting on the points raised? Part 1: Yeah we should definitely discount fishing as a skill. In fact, lets dilute it by splitting it into fish and non-fish - that'll make it so much better. Because, let's face it, how can something which requires players to dedicate large amounts of their playing time to performing a singular task in one place possibly be described as skilling?? #-o Part 1 b: I have no personal experience of this so I cannot comment. Part 1 c: Obviously it was going to be a combat skill. so your point is? Parts 2-4: Words fail me (and I have an 'O' level in English Language). Your saying what now? (That's me bowing to the current vernacular). What I actually mean is, "What the hell does that mean?". Oh and, referring to part three, you know your English is poor if you don't know the difference between 'your' and 'you're' - Clue - its the sentence with 'German' in it. You know you're an English language noob if..., I'll let you finish this sentence. Part 5: Sharks "skyrocketing to 800", "lobsters jumping around 200 to 220". Since I started playing (2 years ago) sharks have always been around 1k, only recently have they suffered a dramatic fall in price; and lobbies have always been within those limits (depending on whether they were raw or cooked). Onyx - can't argue with that. Dragon Chain - its a renewable resource so it will inevitably go down in price. Maple Logs - Cutters don't even come into it! Manage Thy Kingdom is bringing millions of maples into the game every day. Its also bringing thousands of tree seeds in (but most of them are being translated into Farming XP). I'm also willing to bet that there are a helluva lot more 85+ Fletchers since MTK. I know I'm gonna be one of them in a couple of day's time. Part six: I have no comment on this speculation. Part seven: If you really tried, it would take no more than a couple of weeks to generate enough cash to buy a PHAT. All this talk of economics is just a bunch of TOSH. RS is a GAME not a country - accept it and get over it! Part Eight: Couldn't be bothered to read. Might be a good story - but I don't role-play. Part Nine: Good advice for new players, but a) its too obscure - just spell it out! B) If we are here on Tip.It, reading this post, we have probably got it already.
  12. Well, at least its more useful than the Brine Sabre :-s
  13. From Wikipedia: Something like that! :D
  14. As I haven't done ME 2 yet (or 1 for that matter), I have to say Sheep-Herder, frustration with a capital FRU! But from what I've read, I'm guessing ME 2 is going to top that when I get around to doing it.
  15. Magic tree - Gnome Stronghold I think....
  16. Tree Patch (Farming) - Fally east
  17. Yes. They are. Apparently most of the runescape population doesnt think so, because they are among the lowest exp skills of players. If Construction cost as much to level as Hunter (i.e. b*gger all), everyone would be 75+. Would you like a free gilded altar?.....Yeah, thought so. OT: "One swallow does not a summer make". Same goes for NPCs.
  18. Reply from MOD who? He's probably a newbie or on Trident work experience. What am I saying, these Mods never make mistakes. Do they? :-k
  19. Ha-Ha that's funny (sigged) - no-lifing (with or without red bull) not funny. I've done 9-10 hours at the keyboard playing RS/surfing (but then I'm a night-owl and always have been), but if you're talking about 24+ hours just playing RS then, regardless of the chemical stimulants being employed, I think you have a problem.
  20. All you have there is the average age of a Runescape player who is also a member of Tip.It and is prepared to divulge their age to the Tip.It community. i.e. nowhere close to even approximating the average age of a Runescape player. Something which this post is going to emulate quite well. It would have been better to ask "How old is the average Tip.It'er", or something similar. For what its worth (not much, given what I have just said), I'm 38, and started playing RS 2 years ago.
  21. You missed mine out! :shame: October 26th.
  22. I'm not 100% sure because I don't use DH myself, but I believe you can use explosives (from Digsite I think) or poison yourself with cave nightshade (grown from belladonna seeds). BTW: Help & Advice next time :)
  23. You didn't really expect it to go UP in value did you?
  24. Quite apart from server costs, wages etc. don't think that 1 million subscribers means that Jagex are getting $5m dollars month. Everyone seems to be forgetting that wonderful three letter word so beloved of everyone who is old enough to work for a living, namely, TAX
